Fitnessfreak's December Rotation for 12/2

Well, today was Step Blast. It's probably been 2 years if not more since I've done this workout. I had a great time and wow did my heart rate get up there. By combo 2 I was in the 150's and that is hard for me to do anymore. It pretty much stayed there and higher through the rest of the workout.

I'm happy I have enough room to do step, but the floor I am doing it on is concrete and my low back isn't too happy with me right now, so that worries me. I'll have to see how it goes the rest of the day. I'm not planning on doing step with every cardio workout, but it would be fun to do them here and there.

Anyways, got a great calorie burn.

Cardio stats:
60 minutes
52 minutes in zone
422 calories burned

I haven't burned over 400 calories in a long time. This actually surprised me!

Good morning Debbie and all who follow,

This morning I did Step Blast + abs from BM2!

Debbie** nice job with SB today! Hope your back is feeling better

Good morning,

I didn't do Step Blast as scheduled. I chose to do KCM's Cardio Step-Boxing instead. I LOVE that w/o.

Have a good day everyone.

Haydee

I will be doing step blast today this is one of my favorites. I know I am suppose to only do 30-45mins., but I love this one.

I don't have Step Blast, so I did Rhythmic Step. I'm getting together an order to use my calendar coupon though and I'll be getting SJP/SB, so I'm making it my last cardio on this rotation. I've decided to be good and have all the stuff I'm ordering wrapped, so I can't have access until Christmas, as I'm asking for money to help pay for them ;-)

Yesterday I got to do extra back work as I spent time shoveling snow in the afternoon. I'm feeling it today and really feeling my pecs.

Good Morning Ladies! :D

Today was 4DS Legs and L&G Floorwork....had a great workout today! Elevated deadlifts get me everytime....

Everyone- Great job with SB today! lol

Morning!
Well, I had planned on doing an iTrain but when I got up this morning I had some gastrointenstinal distress happening big time! So I scrapped that idea (didn’t think I could take the impact of running, ugh) and did the step premix on Low Max. It was only 44 minutes (40 minutes cardio) so I’ll add a little extra cardio tomorrow since it’s only shoulders. :) Have a great one everybody!

Good Morning!

I worked last night and I am up already:eek: I may have slept a little at work:p

Its pretty mild here today, but windy, so Im not sure if i will be doing SB or going for a run outside with the stroller and DS in it (of course):) I haven't done SB in a while either.

My chest is sore from yesterdays workout but my back isn't. Im sure it has nothing to do with all those push ups! Which I did on my toes!

Debbie** Just wanted to say that I couldn't beleive my eyes yesterday when I saw that post on the OD forum. Don't ever let anyone think that you are over stepping. Half of the time you post something, its b/c someone as asked you to. This is the first rotation I have ever followed by you and when looking through the rotation thread, I never once thought that you had post to many rotations. All I ever noticed was that people were asking for your input and I was thinking "geez...that women is popular!";) Maybe she is new to the forum and thats what she thought when looking through the thead...prehaps she didn't know any different. But in the meantime, I don't think she came back to apologize.

Anyway...I will bbl to report my workout!

Lori:)

OMG this is so fun! It is so great to see you all doing this rotation with me! Roxie, just do all of Step Blast. You can't just do part of it!!! LOL!!! It's such a fun workout.

I wanted to add one more thing to my Step Blast comment. I can't believe I remembered the steps. I remember ALL OF THEM and didn't get tripped up once. It's been at least 2 years since I've done this workout and I did it this morning like I just did it yesterday. It was so cool!

Good morning everyone. I haven't done a workout this early since the summer. I am so excited to get my workout in so I can check in early. Thank you Debbie!

I do not have Step Blast so instead I worked out to BM2 Timesaver Cardio Only. It was 43 minutes long, warmup and stretch included. I started out with two risers and halfway through I couldn't keep up so I lowered and finished the workout. I had lots of fun and need a shower now.
Debbie, I also have a cement floor and I feel it in my knees something bad. I put my mats down for cushioning but end up tripping on the ends.
By the way, I'm feeling some soreness in my abs and a little in my chest from yesterdays workout.Yeah!

Thanks Lori! The post shocked me too. I so appreciate everyone coming to my defense. It is overwhelming for me to see the outpour of support I received.

Re: Step Blast -- it is such a fun workout -- almost wished I'd done it, but I'm laying off the step a bit lately because it was just being too hard on this 47 year old body. And, I'm saving myself for IMAX Friday. :) I did kettlebell swings instead -- was working on speed swings with the 35 pounder. Great workout -- and fun. All you step blasters have a blast! :)

Morning everyone!

I did SB today...it's one of my favorite step workouts. I really love the challenge at the end :) I have been having issues with my knees (primarily the left one) so I had to modify a bit, but still worked up a good sweat;)

I can't believe that someone is less than appreciative of all that Debbie does on the forums. I haven't read the post yet, but I will definitely check it out.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning Ladies,

I didn't get to post-in yesterday, but I did chest/back at the gym yesterday along w/40mins of cardio. I followed Cathe's 4DS, I just wrote down the e-cises before hand. Had a great workout.

I don't have step blast so I'll do cardio 60 mins of cardio at the gym today. I plan to do 30 min eliptical/30 step mill

Debbie thanks so much for doing this for us.

I really want to get my eating in check to see the results I get from this workout. I just finished your one body part rotation and saw alot of results especially in my abs, but I feel defeated after the Thanksgiving holiday and all the eating I did. I really need to get my eating under control when socializing for the holidays. I feel like all the hard work I've done went down the drain.

Finished up SB a little bit ago!

That is one sweaty workout! As tired as I am at the end, I love the blasts! Crazy, huh?

My chest is VERY sore this morning from yesterday. All I could think of was "How are the people feeling that did it TWICE?" Are you guys in pain to take a deep breath today?

Yes, my back isn't so sore either, Lori.

This is really fun checking in with everyone! Such good company!

I was so happy to see Step Blast in the rotation. It's one of my all time favorites only because it's just so much fun! Today I did it with only one riser (getting back into the swing of hard workouts) so my heart rate didn't really peak. Oh well...that's okay. I know I will work harder next time. I also followed it with 15 minutes of David Swenson's "Short Form" yoga to increase my flexibility.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this rotation.

Thanks again Debbie.

Robin

Yes, I am sore today. Not as much as I know I could be, but still nicely sore! :D

I love the challenge of Step Blast, especially because of the music. "Painted Black" is one of my favorite songs and when that song comes on - wiped out or not - I always give the challenge my all just because of that song.
