Fitnessfreak's December Rotation for 12/1

'Evening! Debbie, thank you so much! This was fun, and I felt so strong doing it. Last night I got everything out and set up. Then I woke up a couple of times during the night, and then overslept this morning. But since I'm already out of running for Mother of the Year, I did my workout anyway. My daughter was only five minutes late to school, and I wasn't repetent about it either.
 
Checking In

Hi. I am usually lurking. I thought I would give this a try since I have read your fitness advice and done some of your rotations. I am also inspired by your success story. I am trying to lose about fourty lbs. I am currently 185. I did he workout this evening. It has been a month since I worked out so I know I will feel it tomorrow.
 
I also joined in on this rotation, but lowered the weights in some of the exercises (only because I've been a little bit of a slacker lately). I didn't want to be in too much pain tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the rotation. :)

Hey Robin I've been a total slacker also on the weights. :D

I started the rotation yesterday. I did 4ds back and chest + HIS, and 15minutes of Tracey's core blast.

Today I did combo1, interval 1, combo 2 and interval 2 of Bentos Hi/lo dome challenge.

Debbie thanks for the rotation, it looks awesome.

Just finished and I discovered I need heavier wts. 10lb dumbbells are the heaviest I have I need to buy more. This was a killer workout. TM time was interrupted and the TM shut off had to reset so I don't know what my distance was. Burned 351 calories total. Need to up speed on TM.
 
Debbie, I'm soo glad to be on board with this rotation. I haven't been part of a check-in, in wow, over a year, so it's nice to be part of a group. I think I'm going to love this rotation. It gives me flexibility to work in my cardio of choice, which I love.

Day 1 went well. I am endo. so I did the weights section as is, without repeating. I hope I got that part correct? I followed weights with a 40 minute Tae-bo cardio workout, and finished off with BM Abs. Looking forward to day 2 tomorrow :)
 
Totally forgot you were posting on the Checkins.

Feeling much more endo than meso so working with your endo rotation.

Did 4DS C&B first, one round only, and matched Cathe except 25# is the heaviest I have, 55# for the dead rows and jumped the pullovers to 20#'s.

Then did the HIS.

Whew - felt highly energetic at work and will report if the weight created DOMS for me tomorrow ! :eek:

Good to see so many of you "going for it" and thankful to Debbie for posting and taking the time to help us all.

BACK/CHEST
Round 1
Supermans (warmup)

One Arm Rows (warmup)
15# - 16 reps

One Arm Rows: 30# - 8 reps

Full/Partial Pushups

One Arm Rows: 30# - 8 reps

Pushups:B] 8 singles/8 bottom half/8 top half
***Repeated Round 1 all over again but skipped the supermans and warmup of one arm rows.

Round 2
Underhand Barbell Rows:55# - 1 set 7 reps; 1 set 8 reps

Incline Dumbbell Flyes: 25's - 12 slow reps

Underhand Barbell Rows: 55# - 2 sets 7 reps

Incline Dumbbell Flyes: 25's - 12 slow reps
***Repeated Round 2 but dropped to 20's with the incline flyes.

Round 3
One Arm Rows Palms Back: 25# - 12 reps

Decline Pushups: 12 reps
***Repeated Round 3 again.

Round 4
Incline Pullovers: 25# - 12 reps

Incline Dumbbell Chest Press: 325# - 12 reps
***Repeated Round 4 again.

Round 5
Back Pulls w/ medium band superset w/Y-Pulls

Around the Clock Pushups
***Repeated Round 5 again.

2nd round of Clock Pushups got tough the last 3 but I hung in there.

Nice to see how many have joined this rotation! Very cool! :)
 
I started this rotation Saturday because I seem to always get behind!! Tonight was 4DS Shoulders for me. It felt AWESOME!! Repeated all rounds twice but #3 just like the rotation called for. I had to drop to 10# for the 2nd time through Round 1 for the Overhead Press!! Did the LIS Abs that come after the shoulder workout so I don't have to do them with Dec 5th workout. Thanks again Debbie!

P.S: DH cooked supper tonight... he said he would help me get this month's rotation done... even if it meant helping with the kids homework & supper... I'm pumped!!
 
Step Blast Check In

Just completed this workout. It now 5:47 am. I struggled towards the end and just completely bombed out on the last cardio blast. I am glad I completed it though. Day 2 is down. I am off to shower and get ready for work now. Have a good day everyone. Hope your workouts go great.
