Difference in 3 and 6 month STS program

Hello Everyone,
My name is Karen and I'm new to Cathe. I've purchased her beginner workouts (LIP, Basic and Body Fusion, and TBS). I had completed P90X a year and a half ago so am used to a little more intense workout. I just purchased Gym Styles and am enjoying them also.
STS has my attention now! What is the difference in the 3 month and 6 month rotations. I still have alot of weight to lose and am currently doing Weight Watchers.
Money is a factor so I wasn't sure if I purchased Meso 1 and the guide if it would carry me through two months and then I could purchase the next Meso after I've done #1.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone on the forum.

Cathe originally wanted STS to be a 6mo. program, but thought that in general people would be interested in something not so long term. In the 3 mo. rotation you only perform each dvd once...where in the 6 mo. you perform each workout twice. I personally chose the 6 mo because i also have quite a bit of extra fat to lose...and I thought I would really benefit from the additional time in Meso1 and 2. That being said...Meso 1 also moves very quickly, and I really wanted to take advantage of the workout more than once. Good Luck!

Welcome, Karen. :)

Mlj described it correctly ~ in the 6 month program, you do every disc twice. So...

Week One: Discs 1, 2, and 3
Week Two: Discs 1, 2, and 3

Week Three: Discs 4, 5, and 6
etc.

I'm currently in a Recovery Week between Mesos #2 and #3, and I would recommend the 6 month if you can. Repeating each workout allows you to become familiar with the exercises, the sequence of the exercises (Changing that up makes a difference!), and you can fine tune the necessary poundage for each exercise.

Cathe offers a payment plan for the STS bundle if you're interested.

Thanks for the replies! That sounds great! I really like Cathe's personality and am loving getting back into step aerobics. I thought about just doing P90X again but as much as I loved it then I really have a "dread" factor about it. There are only 12 dvds and you repeat 5-6 of them each week for the entire 13 weeks. I could recite them word for word and just don't think I could go through 3 months of it again.
I'm going to check out the payment plan!!!!
