Did anyone else see this on the Today show this morning?? So sorry if someone already posted...I've watched it like 10 times already...This little boy is surprised by his dad coming home in front of his kindergarten classmates.

YES!! I saw the segment this am on the news & immediately burst into tears! My husband (in the other room) thought I'd injured myself...

It was just so moving.

I saw it too. It broke my heart! It really makes you realize how hard "war" is on little kids.

Oh man, I am crying now. It reminded me of the four times my husband was deployed. The last of which was for 11 months. When we were at the airport waiting for my husband's unit to arrive it was so hard because their flight kept getting delayed. Finally they arrived and when my husband walked through, oh man, the kids were all over him. Kids really do have it so hard. They don't really understand what is going on and why their mom or dad is gone so long. How great to get to see something beautiful like that instead of always showing bad things. How great!!!

I saw this video this morning and it really had me choked up. The little boy is so precious, and it's so sad (in a happy, sweet way) how he runs to his dad while he's starting to cry. I bet that little guy is sooooo happy!!!

I saw it on CNN Headline News this morning and I started crying. Now if I think about that little boy's reaction again I get teary eyed.

It reminds me of the times when my husband was deployed. The kids missed him soooo much. We all did.
