**Control The Damage Dec Month**

Hi Ladies,

UGH, I didn't sleep very well last night...hate when that happens. Needless to say I'm draggin' azz this morning. I logged in to check-in and my computer shut down to do automatic updates. When it came back up, I didn't have internet acess. I finally got that working, but am not feeling a w/o this morning. Thankfully I have class tonight...and squats.

TG-are you a runner? Do you participate in any races, or just run for exercise and better health? Nice run this morning!

Wendy-If I remember right, it's called Freestyle training. The squat-a-thon just provides the number of reps, not how much weight. I've been doing hip lifts and thrusters with 65# bar and counting them as squats. They definitely work the glutes good! You've never had your eyes dilated...don't you see an eye dr. on occasion? It's the worst.....I don't know how people can drive after that. Enjoy your run or whatever you decide to do today.

Lori-What a fiasco with the car and snow tires. We've never leased a vehicle. We buy them and drive them until they die! This is actually the last class of Holiday Meltdown tonight. They've moved up the Spring Fitness Challenge though and it starts in mid January. I guess it's because it overlapped with the Tri Training. Sounds like I may be able to participate in both of those classes now.

Laura-sorry about the headaches/migraines. I'm actually looking into some essential oils to help with migraines for my sister. One of my coworkers wives sell them. I'll let you know what I find out.

I've wasted enough time this morning....time to shower up and head to work.

Hello. :)

Surprise surprise do I have a shocker for you ladies! I actually did Low Impact Challenge after all this morning! ALL of it too! Yes, even that last crazy combo AND the challenge! WHOA! :p Then I did my 55 squats ala' Legs n Glutes hover squat segment. I used my UGI for resistance and added singles on to the end of the set until I hit 55 reps! :)

Now it's time to shower, eat and head out shopping!

Diane: don’t you hate when sleep isn’t good, duh. Yes, I did check out the squat a thon. You know what? that’s to much for me to do every day, but what I have been doing adding additional squats when doing leg work. I am also pear shape, really I am all thighs lol. I have only participated in one race and that was long….ago. I have always ran since I can remember I love running outdoors loooove the sun on my skin.

Good Morning:)

I am up before the kids again. My cold is full blown now:mad:. Hopefully it won't last long.

Yesterday's workout was a circuit. I did HR and 30 mins on the TM. We also went out for wings with friends last night...that's my last late dinner event. My stomach just hasn't been right since we've been meeting with friends all week for food. I also don't think my stomach is use to the abundance of food either. I'm a picker and even more so when DH was gone. Today we have an appt for DS at the hospital. It's with the developmental team. He had one about 2 yrs ago and was suppose to go back in 1 yr later but that's how behind the hospital is. I don't know what today's workout will be yet. Probably just cardio and abs.

Wendy** that's a better idea....I don't think my knees would be able to handle a heavy weight with that many squats. Are you ready for Santa? Is Joey getting excited???

Diana** are you doing the tri again this year? That could also be something I'll look into when we move. There will be so many options when I'm off of this island! Lol

Laura** hope your enjoying your holidays!!

I probably won't be back until tomorrow. We have a busy day ahead and tonight everyone is swinging by to say good bye to DH, he leaves at 5 a.m

Hi Ladies,

Sleep was good last night.:D I fell asleep a bit early but slept all night! My legs are sore from class last night, tons of stairs oh my. Not sure what I will do this morning, should be Pure Cardio but I'm not sure if I'm up for that toughie this morning. 75 Squats from yesterday and 80 from today....not sure when I will to those.

Lori-hope you feel better soon. When do you and the kiddos meet up with DH? I plan on doing the same 2 triathlons I did last year. A few of the girls want to do a longer one, but I'm not ready for the longer swim. It would be 10k run which is fine and the bike ride is fine, but it's a mile swim as opposed to a 1/2 mile. We'll see how I do with the swimming lessons.

Wendy-wow, an entire step w/o....I'm impressed!! Way to work those squats!! My legs are pretty sore today....so I may be dropping down the weight a bit.

TG-before I had foot problems I ran all the time to. Now I just run on ocassion and not for very far....up to 6 miles. I hear yah on the "all thighs" cuz I got that same issue. Shopping for jeans or skirts is a nightmare. Something that fits the legs is waaaayyy too big in the waist.

Lori - your tummy prbly is not used to a lot of food ... I know I eat more when DH is with me or at home than I do w/o him!! plus eating out is not the same as home cooked food!!! :confused:

Hey Ladies...better late then never, right? :p

Today's work out was Cardio Supersets. It's not what the rotation called for but it's what I felt like doing so I said WTH and did it! ;) I also did my squatathon 60...plie squats with a 20# DB (the kind where you put the db down on the high step with one hand, come up, and when you go back down you pick it up with the other.)

Tmrw I will do what the rotation called for today which was TBTS Upper Body.

I went Christmas shopping again this morning and picked up a few more things. I'm close to done! I should have no trouble finishing up next week! :D

Laura:: Oh my DH loves Outback! Hope you have a blast! Ever had their gingerbread martini? If they have it on the menu there you need to try it! YUM!!!!!! :9

TG:: Nice work out! :) I hope you managed to eat at some point!:confused:

Di:: How did squatting on those sore legs of yours go today? ;)

Sitting at Cuck E Cheese while ds plays...No w/o yet but plan to hit some weights when I get home. Saw an auction on Ebay yday for A2 that was ending today n was still at a good price so I put it on my watch list. Price didnt go up so I bid on it today n won!:D Gonna have tons of new toys to play with in 2013! ;) Hopefully Combat will get delivered today. Fingers crossed! Ok thats all for now. Too hard to do personals from my phone but I'll be back!;)

My work out is FINALLY done!

TBTS Total Body Express plus my 65 squats which were one legged balancing squats with 5# DB's which she does in TBTS LB so I had to do 65 on each leg, not just 65 total. :p Things that make ya go :eek:! LOL

Off to the shower and to get dinner under way!

Up early this morning for a 9am CPR class that's almost an hour away :rolleyes: and then a 40th B'day party that is 45 minutes away in the OTHER direction! :confused:

No work out planned as IDT I'll have the time for one.

Hi Ladies,

We had a busy day yesterday that ended with SIL's surprise 50th bday party. We had a great time visiting all the cousins we haven't seen in a while. Enjoyed a few CAB's too!

No workout to report for Friday or Saturday...or the squatathon...ACK! Although I should do UB, I'm going to find a Cardio and then get to squatting! Intensity or Imax 3 is sounding good this morning.

I hope to get the Christmas tree up and wrap some presents today. DH's cousin is coming over for the football game and MIL is coming over for dinner. We have a pork tenderloin in the crockpot so I'll just have to come up with a couple side dishes.

Wendy-You are such a good mom, enduring Chuck's as often as you do. So you got A2 also. I'm kind of toying with the idea of following the rotation for each series I recently purchased. I have P90X2 that I haven't even done all the workouts from. I think I have at least 6-9 months of rotations to follow. P90X2, TurboFire, Asylum, A2 and of course Xtrain will be here soon. What's a girl to do?:p Have fun at the party tonight!

Back to report...Intensity is done! I also got caught up on all those squats, 75/80/85/90.

75-1 legged squat with 15# db
80-40 hip thrusters and 40 hip lifts with 65#'s
85-50 wide squats and 35 plie squats with 65#'s
90-No Weights-45 standard hip lifts and 45 with knees in/out.

My glutes are sore already. Wonder what's in store for tomorrow. Off to shower and head to the store.

Good Morning:)

Just chiming in to let you know I'm still alive....I have the cold so I can't say "alive and well". I don't feel well right now. I haven't slept great the last 2 nights. I need to go to bed earlier tonight.

I'm not sure when I checked in last. Saturday night I slept over to my friends house with the kids and yesterday morning we did ME and last night I ran for 4 miles. Saturday I ran for 7 miles. Friday I did nothing and Thursday was a circuit with HR and the TM. I had to go backwards cause I wasn't sure what I did.

After I came home from my friends house yesterday I had to go to my house to let the dogs out. And all of a sudden I felt uncomfortable and out of place....like I needed to go "home". Ever have that feeling? Thing is, I have no home now:confused:. I think things are starting to settle in some. I think the only place I would have had that comfortable feeling is if I went to my parents house.

DH hasn't been by our rental property yet. He thinks its going to be to small and that I'm not going to have enough room to workout:mad: but it's just gonna have to do for now.

I will try to catch up on personals later. My week is filled up with appts and I have a to do list..... Which I could get one say if I didn't have kids in tow!

UGH!!!!! I do despise Mondays!!! I have been a busy traveling fool for four days now!!! Been to Auburn, AL Thurs - Columbus, GA Fri, then to Biloxi, MS SAT and then home SUN .. :confused::confused: I am whooped!!!! :confused: had a blast tho!!! now it is back to reality - work - it is storming and I would love to be at home curled up on the couch w/a movie *sigh* --- the eats were off the chain and the CABS were worse :eek::eek::eek: I have got to get back on track .. QUICK!!!

speaking of - check out the 2 clips of the new workouts on Cathe FB page .. Super Cuts looks AWESOME and HARD ... I cant wait!! bring it on!!!

Lori - sorry you have a cold - that is not fun - seems everyone here has been or they are sick .. I am spraying lysol and trying to sanatize everything!

Di - sounds like you had a great time at the party - and great job on pounding out intensity AND the squats

OK - not sure what today will bring - I have a MASSIVE pile of gifts laying in my living floor that needs wrapping ASAP .. plus laundry that needs doing - plus a house that has been neglected .. ugh

Hello Ladies. :)

Yesterday was a complete rest day as suspected. The CPR cert went ok but I was 15 mins late becoz I had a heck of a time finding the place!!!:confused: Luckily I was still allowed to attend and not forced to reschedule. Phew! We also got out 90 minutes early...most likely because the 4 hour time frame allowed for the class is probably based on the maximum size class allowed and we only had a handful of people. I should get my card in the mail by the end of the year. :) The 40th B'day party was fun. Made for a long day though...out of the house at 8am and not home until after 7 last night. I was TIRED!

Today's work out was ITread 30 mins run intervals (a sub for the cardio in the rotation today-wasn't feeling S&G cardio for the umpteenth time :rolleyes: and not quite ready to do Low Impact Challenge again so soon!:p), 70 squats (35 uneven per side holding a 15# DB) and STS Extended Stretch since no one is buying it. :mad: I was able to sell the squat rack routine but that's it so far. I've sold alot of other stuff though so I guess I can't complain TOO much! It's enabled me to buy BOTH Asylums AND Combat so yay me!:D X-Train is a Christmas gift from DH!;)

Well, I have a desperately needed nail appointment at 1:30 today so I don't have time for personals right now but I'll BBL for them!:cool:

No workout tell the truth NO workout since Saturday eek. Saturday, I gave my youngest son a birthday party and omg......you talking about parting:D:p:p we had a blasts. Yesterday, I took off work I was dead tired. So I will see you guys tomorrow. Have a wonderful day
 
Hi Ladies,

Yesterday I did Original Bootcamp cardio and abs only....and 100 squats. I did 50 standard squats and 50 plie....and there is another 100 on the agenda for today..Oh My!

Not sure what to do today. Really it should be UB weights but with all the goodies around I'm leaning towards a cardio w/o. I'll figure something out when I go downstairs.

We are finally supposed to get some much needed snow. 4"-8" in town. I don't really care for driving in it it, but we are looking at another drought if we don't get some snow.

I finally got my tree up and have some gifts to wrap.:D Not a lot, but a few. I even started my Christmas cards and hope to finish those today.

Laura-Wow, you've been in 3 states in 3 days..you are quite the run around! I checked out the new w/o clips....looking forward to getting these new workouts. Perhaps I should be asking for a heavy bag for Christmas! I've been doing pretty good diet wise, until all the goodies showed up at work yesterday. I didn't have a lot, but still blows the diet eating peanut brittle and peanut butter balls, 2 of each.

Lori-hope you are feeling better girl. I saw the pic of Stephen in the suitcase, priceless. You are holding things together quite nicely. When do you and the kids head to Cold Lake?

Wendy-you had a whirlwind of a weekend too. Good job on the CPR certification! You will be ready to rock the new year with a PT job for sure! Have you found a gym to do your internship with?

TG-It was a party weekend! We attended a surprise 50 bday party for my SIL and had a great time too. How old are your kids?

GGGRRRRRRRRRRR by the time I went to bed last night - I had a throbbing tonsil - now my ffffn throat is sore .. I am TICKED!!! I have been trying so hard to stay away from sick people - and have been diligent in spraying lysol and disinfecting :mad::mad: with no workouts this weekend .. I CAN NOT AFFORD to miss any more workouts w/the way I have been eating!! :mad::mad: BUT I dont want to push it - i took some airborne this morning and going to get some Zicam .. I knew I felt bad ystdy - but figured it was b/c I was tired of going!! I wrapped presents till 9 pm last night :confused: AFTER DH PISSED me off ggrrrrrrrr .. seems we always have an argument right before Christmas every year :mad::mad::mad:

Wendy - congrats on CPR ctf!! woohoooo - yup now you will be rocking the new year w/some PT gigs!! :D we knew you could do it .. and I know you are going to be an awesome trainer!

Di - my diet has been blown to H## and back :eek: 100 squats two days in a row ?????? :eek: ouchie!!!

TG - I was tired from MY own partying :eek: .. I just wish I didnt have to come to work ystdy .. lol ...
