Commit to get Fit & Lean for July & December 2015

Hi,

I ran sprints today on the track at the Y. My hamstrings were so tight, I used the foam roller and it seemed to help. DS was mad because his gf left a pen in the laundry & all his whites had ink spots. I used hairspray on the spots, rewashed & amazingly it worked!!

Belinda - A $4,000 sliding door, did it have any gold on it:eek: Ours sometimes gives us trouble, hopefully we don't need to replace. Turbo Fire lots of fun & work:)

Kristin - I was going to wait and do MM either tomorrow or Thursday. It does look like you worked your legs hard!!

Cookie - I saw what could be a tropical storm approaching the Carolina's hopefully not near you.

Good morning ladies!

I just finished Rockout Knockout. You know, when I first got this workout, I didn't really like it. It seemed too "jumbled" to me. Now, I love it. Go figure. It was a lot of fun today.

Belinda- I didn't realize I added a lot of ab work, but that is my problem area, so I always focus on it, lol. I think when I work them more on a daily basis I get better results. I am seeing some real definition in my upper abs and obliques. My lower abs. . . ugh!

Deb- I would never think to use hairspray to get the stains out. Good job! Surprisingly, my legs aren't sore today. Either the DOMs are coming later today or the pool really helped, lol.

BB tomorrow. Crossfire is on deck. Not sure if I will do the whole workout or a premix.

Hi,

Today I did a lot of walking & 1 segment of 30 day butt lift. We had pizza & brownies for DS's gf's birthday. Tomorrow we are taking DH's godchild to the State Fair. I'm hoping to get a lot of sleep tonight because not used to keeping up with a 2 year old:eek:

Belinda - Is your DH still working out with you?

Kristin - I bet the pool does help with DOMS . . . a hot tub would be even better:)

Crossfire all done! I decided to go for it and not do a premix. It was easier than I remembered it being and I didn't modify at all. I did have to hit pause between rounds in the fitness circuit, but only a few seconds here and there to catch my breath or get water. I am so glad I did the entire workout now. Tomorrow is High Reps. I made Saturday my rest day because I am taking DH and DSs to a Yankee game for DH and Ds's birthdays (they are both born on 8/9).

Tomorrow I am going to go shopping with a girlfriend from work. NY and Co is having their annual pants sale of buy one pair get one free, so I am going to stock up for fall and winter.

Debbie- good luck keeping up with the two year old. From what I remember they have a lot of energy. . . but then they fall asleep and take a nap. I wish my boys would take a nap. . . or wake up after 8. I wish I had a hot tub!

Belinda- what are your plans for today?

I did 21 DF Ext Lower Fix and Rockout Knockout :) I really like Rockout Knockout. So much fun!

Kirstin - the door is custom made :( That's why it's so expensive :( I don't work my abs every day, not if I can help it :p I think working your abs up to 3 times a week is fine. I prefer working them twice. That is awesome you seeing some real definition in my upper abs and obliques :) My lower + upper abs starting to show nice definition. 21 DF workouts works your core well.

Debbie - awesome job on your walk walking and 30 day butt lift. Yes, DH is still working out with me. Yesterday day he said, he needs a break from Autumn. good luck keeping up with the two year old :D At that age they have lots of energy :cool:

Hi,

Today was exhausting, we forgot what it was like to run after a 2 year old. My legs are hurting from walking at the fair. I ate too much junk food but did enjoy it. Our nephew fell asleep just as we were getting ice cream and leaving, and he would not wake up even for that!

Since it was a long day I did upper body premix for Muscle Max & will do lower tomorrow. My SIL was shocked that we kept him for that long.

Belinda - Did you hear Autumn has a new cookbook for 21 day fix out? It' not on Amazon yet but may wait until it goes on their for reviews.

Kristin - Happy Shopping tomorrow!!! I noticed some stores are offering teachers discounts . . . that is great:) Crossfire is a tough one.

Hey everyone. I am exhausted from all the shopping I did today, lol. First I did High Reps. Really love this workout. Then we hit the mall. I went to NY and Co because they were having a great sale on pants, BOGO. I got four pairs, plus new blouses and a dress for work. Then we hit Express, which was also having a sale. I got a number of blouses there as well. We then went to the outlets and I went to Black House White Market and got a number of tops on clearance. My school wardrobe is all done, lol. I am also happy to say that I am back to my size 4 and it's a comfortable 4, not tight. I lost a couple of pounds last week, but got on the scale today and nothing. Still the clothes felt good, so I am taking that as a sign that I am leaning out a bit again.

Belinda- my stomach is always, always my problem area. For me, working it this way is getting me the best results, while not having to eat super clean every day. Did you do Crossfire today?

Debbie- I remember when my kids would fall asleep and you couldn't wake them up for anything. Ah, those were the days when they were hyper, but you knew they would lose steam eventually. Things are not like that anymore. My younger DS woke me up at 6:30 this morning! :confused::eek::eek::eek:o_O:mad: He came shopping with me too, so I am hoping he will be lights out soon.

Tomorrow I am taking DH and the boys to a Yankee game, so it will be my rest day. BB on Sunday with MM on tap.

I never got CF in yesterday. DH and I went sliding door shopping…by the time we got home it was late. We ended up doing 21 DF Ext Cardio and a dog walk.

I just finished CF :) Getting ready to do 21 DF Ext Dirty 30. If I feel up to it tonight I will also do HR?

Kirstin - sounds like you are set for school :) Glad you found so many great deals on cloth. Now I want to go shopping for some too. LOL! I'll bet you have abs of steel :p good for you!

Yesterday I did sprints at the YMCA. Today I did yoga to stretch things out. I stayed in most of the day but plan to go out tomorrow, the weather has been beautiful. We could use rain our lawn is brown.

Belinda - You are the energizer bunny!! Great job with your workouts. I hope you found a door.

Kristin - How was the Yankee game? It sounds like you had a great shopping day! I'm wish we had a Black House White Market outlet store. I am eyeing a pair of jeans in the regular store but only if I can use a coupon.

Hi everyone. Got Muscle Max in early today so that I can bake my son and DH a birthday cake. My parents are coming over later for a bbq and to celebrate their birthdays. The Yankee game was fun. My friend from work was at the game too, so after the 5th inning we snuck into her section (there were empty seats in front of her). It was great because we were originally in the bleachers and she was in a great section, lol. DH had bought both boys sodas and the 2 hour drive on the way home was UNBEARABLE. They were so hyper from the soda. I told him if he ever gave them soda before a long ride home again, I would kill him.

Deb- I love Black House White Market and only recently discovered them, lol. They have quality clothing. Some shirts I bought last year still look new.

Belinda- I probably do have abs of steel, just underneath extra skin and stretch marks, haha!

High Reps and 21 Day Fix Ext Yoga is done :) I did High Reps premix FB Upper First. I am trying to do mix in as many premixes as I can this month.

Kirstin - you did MM after High Reps? You go girl :) Happy Birthday to your husband and DS :) Hope you all have fun. Sorry about the ride home :D All that sugar, lol. Why did you pick 2 of the same full body workout a week? I am just curious? Do you have all Cathe's full body workouts?

Today I did about 20 min. of sprints at the Y & High Reps lower body & shoulders (will finish the rest tomorrow). We also went to my in-laws to go in the pool & it was only DH & I so it was real quiet.

Belinda - We are finally getting rain on Tuesday but don't mind:)

Kristin - Happy Birthday to your DH & DS. I thought you were going to say the boys needed to use the bathroom the whole ride;) The quality is really good (BHWM) & I love looking at their windows to see how they put things together (they change it a lot).

Cookie - I hope you are enjoying your vacation.

Today I took a yoga class. I went to ds's softball game tonight so I didn't get a chance to finish HR. I will try to finish tomorrow morning since we are getting storms in the morning.

Belinda - Great job with your workouts! MM is one of my favorites.

Kristin - I have to check the rotation & see which total body workouts are for this week, falling a little behind;)

Hi guys. Yesterday we took DS and his friend to Splish Splash, the water park out East. Between the rides and all the walking around and climbing steps to get on the rides, I was exhausted when we got home. We had dinner and watched a movie. I did not get a workout in, so yesterday is my rest day for this week. Today I did Party Rockin' Step 2. Tomorrow I have ME on tap.

Belinda- the only other TB workouts I have by Cathe are Push Pull and Supersets in it's original form (Pyramids can be done as TB with the premix and so can TBT from Low Impact series of the ones I have that are splits). When I did the rotation I wanted to do two things: mix up between high rep TB workouts (ME and HR) and more muscle building workouts (MM and STS TB) and I wanted to do two of the same workout in the same week because I think I go harder the second time, remembering what is coming up in the workout. Plus I tried to alternate so that one week there are two high rep workouts and 1 muscle building workout, and then 2 muscle building workouts and 1 high rep workout. That's why week one was HR, MM HR, and then week two MM, ME, MM. I put High Reps once in the last week because I was doing all the other TB workouts 3X and I needed another high rep workout for that week to go against STS TB 2X. What I was hoping for is that I would see more muscle tone and "leaning out" from this pattern, but I don't know for sure. I think I am seeing results already in my upper body. My legs are pretty toned too, but I think that is more from last month's leg workouts that had floor work.

Deb- so I always mess up the name of the store. . . the tags on my clothes say White House Black Market, lol. I don't know. It is a strange name, lol. I still love their clothes.

It is a rainy day here. DH and I are going to get the boys' school supplies and then we are going to head to the travel agent. We are thinking of booking a cruise or vacation for the mid winter break in February. I am leaning towards a cruise. Hopefully there are some good deals.

Kirstin - that makes more sense :) I was wondering why you did 2 of the same workouts in a week instead another TB/HR. I have all Cathe's weight workouts. I am getting ready to do my workouts for today. WTG on your step workout today. I hope you find a good deal on a cruise. Sounds like fun.
