Good morning girls,

I am getting us started! It is 2:44 am here in El Paso, I can't sleep! To much going on, I need to make sure I don't forget anything, today all my stuff will go in grates!:)

Today I will do Low Max!

Ah....finally found something that someone else posted! I was in mycathespace and clicked in new post...and found it. I hope this gets easier and I don't have to do that every time I want to chat with my friends.

Seems like there were a few new members yesterday. I don't remember all of you but I just wanted to say "welcome!" and that I am happy you joined us.

Im planning for a run outside today if it doesn't rain.I also have a little DOMS on the go from yesterdays workout! Nice!

I was talking to my brother who lives in the city yesterday and we are thinking about going in this weekend to pick up my sisters dog. She had to fly the dog in there b/c she couldn't do it here...not sure why. Anyway, he is trying to convince me to go ahead and run the race that is taking place in there this weekend. Its a 10 mile run, not that far...I can do that. My brother is a bit of a hard ticket though and he is telling me that most of the run is downhill....I think he is trying to trick me! He is even offering to pay half of my registraton. Online registration is closed so I don't even know how I would register. Guess I will have to make up my mind soon!

Belinda** Have you ever tried LM using a 8 lbs med ball during the intervals? Or a hand weight? Its the only way I do LM now. I think there is one interval when you can't use a weight, I think it might be the last one.

ME Upper Body is on tap for today...even with a bit of DOMS left form push/pull.......

Belinda- have fun with Low Max! And I can't believe how early you were up...

Gidgeg- I know I already told you this...but I hope you have a good run...and is low max not hard enough? And you add weights? lol

today is a cardio and abb work,have no idea what yet...may do some DM cardio or a run interval on the tread mill?

Belinda-I hope everything goes smoothly,atleast you DH is with you this time(or has he gone agian?). So when do you leave agian?

Lori-OMG,You SHOULD do the race!!!! How exciting!!! Let us know if you do it ok......have a good workout today!

Pinny-high fives on your DOMS from yesterday. I don't have ME,yet! My cathe collection seems to be building with every passing month,lol! My dh has put his foot down recently:rolleyes:

Lori** I am not sure what happened with all this threads yesterday! I couldn’t keep up! LOL! I think SNM fixed the problem! I agree you should run a race I never used a 8LB med.ball doing LM! I will give it a try after my move!
Iris**are you doing Debbie’s rotation and which one? I am doing “Get ready for the summer 08” I am in my last week! I did Push/Pull 3 sets premix last night!
Amelia** DH is still here, I am not letting him go! LOL! I will fly back with DH on August 9! Are you ready for another round of BFL Challenge next week???

Had a great workout doing ME upper body split...I just love the ab section!
Belinda- I am also in my last week of Debbie's Summer 08 rotation! how funny is that... So how did it work for you??? I've noticed very good changes in my upper body ( I think because I've never worked upper body twice a week before)
 
P.S.

punka- DM Ultra Cardio Blast IMO is the hardest flippin' cardio workout I think I've ever done....maybe i just wasnt' feeeling well that day.. but anyways...have a great workout if you do that!

I'll speak for Amy - I saw her itinerary and I know she is in the air on her way to the Road Trip today. Lucky girl! I will join her and the rest of the gang tomorrow. Belinda, we'll be missing you and Alecia like crazy!!! xoxoxo!!

today I did a short run with partner and PUB the ups only plus abs, going as heavy as possible. Just right.

Pinny/Iris - good luck on your UB workout!

Belinda, love that Low Max. Lori - with a weight??? Yowza!

Lori, have a wonderful run!

Amelia, good luck on your cardio/ab combo - will be interested to see what you choose.

Hey Girls,

I just woke from a little nap. There is still to much construction going on on the st across from me so I had to shut the window and one point in time, then I heard someone come in, then the phone rang...ha...you know what its like trying to take naps in the middle of the day! Sometimes it just not worth it. Despite all the interuptions I feel rested.

DD is off babysitting today! Can you beleive that? We wouldn't really trust her with our baby (lol) b/c its her brother so no big deal. But this kid is 5 and I think she will probably take better care of him, I should hope anyway!

Belinda** You will have to try LM with a med ball next time! I just stubbled across that post in the OD forum one time and whenever I do it I use the med ball. Gets those legs good!

Cheryl** Have fun on your RT! So jealous! Give Cathe a big kiss for me! LOL I didn't even know we could scroll down and see everyone elses post! Geez!

Pinny** I love ME abs as well! They are tough! Ive been doing CM lately and even though my abs aren't burning when I am doing it, they are sore the next day.

Ameila** Have fun with you workout today!

Im kind of leaning towards doing the race. Even my mom says I should do it and she thinks everything is a waste of money! LOL
I did a 16k run today, I should have taken a watch with me to see how fast I was. DS kept throwing things over the side of the stroller and I got a couple of red lights but for the most part I think I did a pretty good time. If I decide to do the race I don't think I am going to run anymore until Sun. My legs are so tight right now from MM yesterday and that long run today.

BBL ladies. I think I may need a afternoon coffee after that nap!

Belinda-Glad to hear you DH is home this time to fly with you. I may have to put that BFL challenge on hold for a while...i started losing weight agian with counting cals and doing light weight/high reps. When my body adapts to this then i may start one....:-(

Pinny-lol,i think i was talking smack this morning when i mentioned DM cardio premix....i can't handle it today,too sleepy!

Cheryl-Have a great time on your RT,and don't forget your camera...so exciting!

Late Check In

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the late post....Work has been insane today:eek: Ok...this is the SECOND day that I did not work out....I am getting to bed too late and the culprit is the new chat room on this site:mad: It's starting to become addictive. Anyhoo, tomorrow, DM Ultra Cardio Blast is MINE!! I'm off to bed early tonight for sure;) Btw, how many of you are doing the Get Ready for Summer 2008 rotation?

Belinda - hope you had fun with Low Max. It's definitely a fav of mine;)
Lori - My goodness...Low Max with weights??? Never thought of that, but sounds like a challenge I'd like to try! Go for the race..downhill?? Sounds like fun!
Iris - Hey girl! I don't have ME, but I've been looking at it for a while now. Sounds like a good investment!

Finally, I got in! It has been terrible being on the outside looking in at all you ladies chatting away and not being able to join in. Had to switch to Chica from Cookie, but oh well... At least I'm finally here. Gee, I miss you ladies, and welcome to the new friends.

Lori, I'm with you on the advice to Belinda. Belinda, are you listening? LoMax with a med ball is great. I did the step portion first, then went back and did just the blasts twice through with a ball and hand weights, and woooo, what a workout! Run, Lori, run that race. Can't wait to hear the report. Hope your son didn't hurt anyone with his presents during the run.

Amelia, what did you name the new puppy? How did the other dog react?

Cheryl, you must be so excited about the road trip. When do you leave? Will you be able to post while you're there?

Hi Pinny! Belinda and I had been doing that rotation as well. It's been fun doing with someone else. I picture Belinda and I both yelling at Cathe at times.

Iris, I also like ME.

Have any of you looked at what is included in Cathe's premium package. Trying to figure out if it might be worth it and then how I can justify it....

I am done with LM!

Everything is packed and gone! DH and I looked all afternoon to find a sofa for the kids! I saw one in Costco, but now it's gone! Oh well!

Cookie** glad you found us! How is the rotation going? I am a day behind!

Lori and Cookie** Oh, No with the med ball! I was so tired today! Maybe next time! I am glad I made it trough!

Cheryl** you are flying tomorrow? Have lots of fun and take lots of pictures! Give Cahte a huge form us!

Amelia** that's ok! You always can jump in when you are ready to do BFL!

Trish** you do 3 days heavy weight training and 3 day (20 min. cardio)! We have a BFL Challenge as well! You can read more on www.bodyforlife.com! I lost a lot of weight doing BFL!:eek:

Iris** awsome job with ME upper body split today!
