Today I will do cardio, I think DD wants to go to the gym:eek: Then we will go shopping in Weiden!:D:D I am getting ready to take the dogs for a long walk! I will try to came back for persoanls:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Have a great day and workout!

Hey, gals, I'm here! Don't die of shock! My PR business has been keeping me swamped lately, but it's all good - and I also have good news on the family front - major milestones with my two kiddos and I am now full custodian of my 16 year old Russian daughter at long last!!!!

I haven't been slacking too bad on workouts, tho- yesterday was Step Works and today was LIS/Shoulders/abs. Two fun choices.

My running partner is out with a torn calf muscle. Looks like i'll be running on my own for awhile, indoors on my nice toasty warm treadmill. I can handle that!!

BBL! I hope everyone is headed for a wonderful day!

Cheryl

Hi ladies,

Yesterday we went to Nuernberg. We had a fantastic day! It was a nice warm, sunny day! We ate a lot at the fest! I will not step on the scale for awhile! Alesia wanted to go to see my mom’s grave site; she wasn’t here when my mom passed away last year! We also managed to go to IKEA, I love that store! Off course we bought a lot! Hopefully Alesia is up to go to the gym this morning, if not I have to get my workout done tonight! I plan on using one of my new iTreads? Can’t wait!

Cookie** Thank you for asking about my DH and DD! They all made it ok! The dogs had a hard time, poor babies! The dogs were so confused, since yesterday they are doing great! DH and DD arrived 30 min. earlier! Hope you enjoyed your day off yesterday! Great job on your workout! Did you enjoy those cookies?

Pinny** nice job on BM2 UB yesterday! How are your arms feel?

Lori** how is your sister doing? Congrats, aunt Lori?

Kim** hope you had fun with your kickboxing yesterday? Which one did you do?

Amelia** how was your run yesterday? How is your back feeling?

Cheryl** that is great news and congrats on your DD! Great on your workouts! Sorry, about your running partner!:(

Everybody have a great tuesday! It feels like saturday to me though because my DH is off today and tommorrow,so this is like our weekend:confused:

Good Morning Ladies,

This morning I did SH- Chest & Back. Plan to do a step or walking after work. Sitting her eating cereal and half a banana. Gotta make it quick to hit the show and get ready for work.

Belinda- Glad to hear that you are enjoying DH, DD and the dogs. Enjoy your workout, if you get it in, if not don't fret, enjoy your family!

Amelia- Good job on the run interval. Have a good day at work!

Lori- How is that new baby niece of your!! Congrats on being an auntie!!

Cookie- Good job on the workout yesterday. To answer you and Belinda's question, I started w/Powerstrike 1. I really enjoyed it; excellent instruction, good cueing and easy to follow combo. I only did about 25 min. of it b/c of time and I was just plain tired. What I did I really enjoyed.

I live in Michigan, it was very warm yesterday, but, with the days getting shorter (less daylight) I can feel myself going into hibernation mode. I am trying to stop that by taking vitamin D and keeping my am workout no matter what and committing to at least 3 evening workouts/week. Anyone else have this problem. I want to try to combat it this year and increase my workouts. Think I will post in OD.

Have a great day all!!

Good morning ladies,

Well, I ended up not working out at all yesterday. I was too tired and had too much housework to do. Anyway, so today will be S&H Legs, Abs and hopefully a run on the treadmill.

Belinda - How long is your DD going to stay with you? Must be nice having a workout buddy.

Cheryl - It's good to see you and I am glad that things are doing well. Yeah, running on the treadmill is nice.

Kim - It's hard if the days get shorter to get in gear. It get dark so early and I get more tired and it's so comfortable on the couch :D.

Amelia - So glad to hear that your back is ok again. I hate it when my back acts up and it always takes at least a week for it to go away.

Lori - Hey Auntie Lori, how are you ;)?

Cookie - The baby (well, almost 22 months, hehe) is doing fine. I was wondering why she wouldn't eat well for a while now until I discovered two days ago that all her K-9s are coming in. They are all there now except of one. Other than that she is doing great. She is taking late naps now which interferes a little with my workouts. :(

Good morning to everyone who follows.
Kristine :)

Good Morning!:D

Things are settling down around here and everything is returning to normal. There were alot of gatherings over the weekend and alot of food to, although I don't think I did to bad, on the eating front. Its just so strange how life goes on, isn't it? You mourn the loss of someone for a few days, then you pick up and move on. We will all miss him and no doubt his wife and son will have a harder time then the rest of us, but right now we just have to remember the good things about him.

My sister did really well yesterday. She called here around 9 ish and she had her baby before 1! First baby (of course) considering the trouble she had getting pregnant. He truly is a little miracle! Test tube baby if you will. So yes, its a little boy and even though he was almost 3 weeks earlier, he still weighed 7 lbs 15 oz! If she had went another 3 weeks he would have been over 9 lbs! Ouch! She is getting out of the hospital today but we won't get to meet him until Nov. He looks alot like his dads side of the family.

Belinda** Sounds like you are having a great time with DD. How long is she home for?

Cheryl** Don't think we don't notice you missing!;)But we know you are a busy gal. Congrats on the news~!

Ameila** Now do you know why I get up at 5 to work out on the days I have to work? Its just so much easier to come home in the evenings and not have to face a workout, on top of a work day.

Kristine** Enjoy your workout!

Kim** Good job on the workout this a.m!

Yesterday I did a 55 mins run, not sure how far I went b/c I had to take a detour to get home and get ready to go to my inlaws for lunch. I looked at my training program though and my last long run was last Sun, so I don't think I have missed to much with everything thats been going on. Todays run is suppose to be a 8 km run, then tomorrow a easy 5 km, then thats it until race day, but I doubt I will listen to that:eek:

BBL!

Hi Everyone!

Today's wo was LIC Cardio Timesaver. It's becoming a fav of mind...low impact, and still breaking a sweat....As Cathe would say, "Gotta love it!":p

Cheryl - YAY!! Congrats on your custodianship!! Great work on LIS:)

Belinda - Sounds like you and Alesia are having a great time:D How do you like iTreads?

Amelia - Enjoy your weekend with DH

Kim - I do my weight wo in a room with no windows so the change in daylight doesn't affect me much. Also, I think I'm working out too early for it to matter anyway:eek: I would like to work a few evening wo's into my rotation though...I could stand to burn some extra calories.

Kristine - Hope SH Legs was good for you today ;)

Lori - Congratulations on the new addition to your family!! I hope you had a good run today!

Will try to check in with you all tomorrow.

Finally checking in!

Belinda, thank you, thank you, thank you! As our economy is struggling, I appreciate you doing your patriotic duty with shopping. Two days in a row! I'm proud. That must be why the market here finally closed up. Only kidding. I can't imagine how confused your poor dogs must have been! I know you've missed your family, two-legged and four-legged members. You and your daughter are so close, it must be heavenly to have her with you now. Enjoy.

Cheryl, congrats! Was it a lot of paperwork to secure the guardianship? I only ask since I'm in the process of readopting my daughter. There was an error made by the US gov't in issuing her visa, and it has been a huge hurdle in obtaining the paperwork to get her passport, so we're readopting. The paperwork is enough to make my head spin, especially since I thought we were done with it all.

Kristine, boy your daughter must take getting her teeth a lot calmer than my boys. They all wanted me to share in their pain! Perhaps it is a chromosonal thing. I seldom get a workout done in the evening, so I have to do it first thing. No, actually I prefer to do it, not that I have to. It is just that if I don't get it in after a couple days of not doing anything, I tend to let stress get to me. Hope you got your workout in and had a great day.

Kim, the workout sounds good. Glad you enjoyed it. Did you post on OD? I workout in the a.m., as I mentioned to Kristine in the post above. The good thing is it's over and done and I feel so accomplished. Often it is the only thing I can ever saw really did get accomplished, since meetings don't provide that sense of satisfaction. The other nice side benefit is I can check my form in the window easily since it is so dark outside. I put the workouts I've planned into my planner, and then I have it in front of me everytime I look at it during the day. So if I didn't get to it, there it is reminding me and bugging me over and over. I'm reading this book called Spark about the connection between exercise and the brain. Highly recommend it!

Aunt Lori, congrats! So what is the little guy's name? Is this your first time as an Aunt? Your opening paragraph and then the discussion about the baby's birth, reminded me of the expression the Circle of Life.

Amelia, how's the juggling of work and home going along? I'm not doing a good job today. My blender broke, and last month the food processor went. Guess I need to get married again so I can get new appliances. Towels, I could use new towels too. Heck, maybe I'll start a list and ask someone to give me a Still With Him shower. Anyway, had to revamp dinner plans, and today was a frustrating day at work. Since I did KM this morning, tho I didn't have to kick anyone.

Trish, I'm going to have to check that dvd out. I can't remember the last time I did that one. Seem to be stuck on the same few lately.

Sleep well.
