Clean Eating magazine

Does anyone else read this? I picked one up at my grocery store. I thought most of the recipes sounded really good and healthy. The articles were interesting and seemed honest. Not a ton of adverts like some magazines. It was mostly recipes and articles. Its the only magazine I've seen like it so I thought I'd share. They have a few free recipes on the website. The magazine also made a grocery list for a whole weeks worth of groceries at a time(4 total) to make a menu they share for a whole months worth of food. I may actually try that since the food sounded good and they said using their list is inexpensive! It also had a few fitness type articles. http://www.cleaneatingmag.com/

I got a free preview issue and loved it. I think I'll subscribe. I especially like the grocery lists. I made one of the recipes and it was really good. I liked that it was "real" food made cleanly, not just twigs and roots.

I keep hearing about this magazine but I can't find it anywhere. I've looked at Target and my grocery store and neither place has it. Where do you get it?

I have a subscription and mine just came yesterday. I didn't have time to look at it but hope to get a chance to browse through it during my bus ride tonight. Any favorite recipes in the newest issue yet?

I got my copy at Borders Bookstore. I like the magazine and was surpised there were so few advertisements since it's a magazine born from Oxygen which is FULL of advertisement! I love it!

Michelle,
I think when your order a subscription online it has a trial issue.. so if you don't like it you can cancel and keep that one free. I mailed out the card in mine though.

I subscribed and got my first magazine about a week ago. I really like it. I'm glad there aren't a lot of ads for supplements, which was what I was afraid of. A lot of the recipes look family friendly and although some of them call for ingredients with which I am sort of unfamiliar (like hemp protien and some sort of wierd sea weed) many of the recipes call for common ingredients that can be found in any super market.

I wish it came more than four times a year.

I've really been enjoying the magazine and have purchased both issues that have come out so far. I think it'll come out every few months vs. monthly. We've used several of their recipes, and thoroughly enjoy the articles. It's a good read!

I love this magazine. I made a few recipes from the premiere issue and already have a few earmarked in the current issue! :9

I love this magazine. The only thing is that they have ALOT of typos (recipes cited on the wrong page, incorrect nutritional values). But, I'm following the 30-day menu plan and LOVE it! I found myself getting very frustrated with creating my own meals, calculating my daily calories, writing down what I ate, compiling the grocery list, etc. The entire reason I got the magazine was for the 30-day menu and so far, I'm thrilled.

Is anyone else a subscriber and hasn't gotten the Spring issue yet? I just called this morning to ask about when mine would be sent, and they said not until April 5 for me! Apparently these get sent out in batches, so some get them early, while others (like me, apparently) get them later. Not liking that system LOL.

I finally picked up a copy at Target today! Haven't gotten through all of it, but looks like a good mag!! :) Thanks for the recommendations!

We received the srping issue about two weeks ago and my husband tried the turkey pasta roll-ups recipe. We don't eat meat so we substituted Morningstar imitation meat. Yummy! However, I would go easy on the cinnamon. Don't use as much as the recipe says.
