I have read and been inspired by K60 and other’s stories about clean eating, cutting out sugar/white flour etc.. for incredible weight loss.
I am not a sugar/white flour addict so cutting these out is not a problem. What is really getting to me is that it just doesn’t seem to fit into my lifestyle during the working week.
I work in Westminster (London) and am always out for lunch. Bringing in my own food simply wouldn’t work out. There were no choices today when I went out with a colleague which fitted within the plan so I ended up eating off plan yet again. It’s so frustrating as I wasn’t craving the white rice and chicken kiev I had today – there was simply nothing else to eat which would also sustain me through a hectic afternoon at work!!
Has anyone lost weight by just halving their portions or just eating things in moderation rather than cutting out whole food groups altogether? I am beginning to realise that, realistically, only this sort of plan could ever succeed with me. Cutting out food groups with limited choices during the week just won’t work for me and will only lead to more frustration.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
