Did most of the cardio from Amy's Advanced Step Challenge 3 Challenging NRG Premix plus some ab work this morning. Workout was 1:32 and burned 702 calories.

Linda, nice job and done early too. I took a nap this morning :eek: I just was so tired. I did just finish GSL though. So at least I've accomplished that.

Poor DH has had several family members comment recently about his "belly" getting bigger :rolleyes: He's not big by any means, but he is getting a little fluffy in the midsection. Well, he's on the treadmill now :p
 
My DH sent me an email on Thursday that he's lost 3#. Problem is he is 6 ft. and now 137#.:eek: T told him to go eat some ice cream the other night!:p I wish he'd do some lifting, not to bulk up, but because I definitely see his muscle tone disappearing as he gets older.:(

Went to Wildwood, NJ yesterday and spent the day, from 10:30am to 11:30pm, in the waterpark (until 6pm) then on the boardwalk on the rides. And of course, my eating was horrible.:confused:

I tell you this because I do not think I was in any shape at all to do Meso 2, Disc 19, Chest, Shoulders & Triceps which included Double Wave sets.

I really struggled this morning and most of the workout occurred in my head, if you know what I mean.

Judi, how was your anniversary weekend?

This evening I did GS BSB. I was gonna do some cardio, but just didn't LOL!! My upper body is fried. At least my legs are recovering!!
 
Hey Ladies- We had a great time on our anniversary getaway. The B&B was on 500 acres in the woods and we went canoing, hiking, riding around in a golf cart on the trails with many beers, mingled with nature, etc... The weather cleared up and it was sunny & warm too. It was really nice to reconnect with DH as we often forget to have time to ourselves.

I'm heading up to the cabin tomorrow until Sunday so I'm putting STS on hold and will pick it up next week. I plan to run and do body weight stuff while I'm away.

Catherine- How has your foot been holding up? I see you just did GS Legs...ouch, I get major doms from that one. Legs are my least favorite part to work and I have to force myself.

Linda- WOW..nice numbers on disc 19!! Sounds like you had a fun day at Wildwood. I hear ya on the eating...the MN State Fair starts this week and it is a food fest like no other. Anything you can imagine is put on a stick and deep fried:confused: I can't wait to go!!

The foot is doing some better. I've found that step is my nemesis :mad: So I have been sticking to stationary bike and have done a little on the treadmill. I also still have to modify leg stuff some. I can not do slo lunging motions or stationary lunges. I'm fine with that and just hope that given more time it will continue to get better. Or I guess I'll just keep doing what I am. At least I am making some progress and I can do something!!!
 
This morning I did Tracey's StrikeZone skipping Strike 9 for the most part, with all the DOMS in my Chest, Shoulders & Tris from yesterday all those pushups weren't gonna happen. I did attempt to do the spiderwebs though. Then I added Amy's ITR Med Ball Intervals x 2 and Med Ball Abs from Cathe's Ab Circuits. Workout was 1:28 and I burned 707 calories.

This was my first time with Strikezone and I loved it! I love the fact that the strikes are only 4-5 minutes, which fit my attention span perfectly. More and more I find I hate long drawn out combos.
 
Today was Meso 2 Disc 20 Triset Legs. I am so ready to be done with trisets. Workout was 1:05 and I burned 486 calories. Also walked 1:28 minutes with client and burned 413 calories. For a total of 899.

Thanks! It was funny, I was playing my piano when I heard her messing around downstairs with my adjustable bars. So I went down there and she is trying to unload and reload the bar. I told her to just use dumbbells but she was insistent that she needed a barbell like Cathe. So I loaded it for her. :D
 
I took yesterday as a rest day due to a headache. Today I did GS Chest & Triceps :eek::eek::eek: This one fries me everytime. I was gonna do some time on the treadmill but was just too tired afterwards.
 
Once again I am starting to get DOMS in my glutes from Triset Legs.:confused: At this rate my butt may end up in the middle of my back!:p

Bawahahahaha!!!!!!!! Well, if it makes you feel any better my chest is getting sore already. That's not DOMS it's IOMS (immediate onset muscle soreness):p
