(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

Linda, Let me get this straight- you've burned 1027 calories already, but want to burn 400 more?? You're so crazy :p:p

Judi, how ya doing??

I did GS BSB today. I canned my 4ds rotation and opted for GS instead. Just wasn't feeling the love for 4ds since I can't do the step. My arms are fried

Today I did BM2 Cardio Blast premix and I can't understand why my @ss was dragging! I even did it on a 6" step instead of 8". My HR was high and I had to pause a couple times...WTH?! Anyhoo, I burned 464 calories but felt like I burned 600:eek:

Catherine- I miss doing the Gym Styles and after this second round of STS, I'm going to revisit those. They are great! Bummer that your foot was bothered by doing step especially since you enjoy it so much. Hopefully soon you will be able to mambo cha-cha pain free!

Linda- Cardio Fusion is a good one....I need to add that in somewhere soon. Do you think your cardio and high calorie burn will affect your muscle development during Meso 2? I know Cathe decreased the intensity or length of cardio as STS progressed to enable more muscle building. I'm curious what your results are so far.

Catherine
- I never did get to mowing lawn! Maybe tomorrow.:p I haven't done GS in forever. Nice job frying the arms. I am really surprised that I did not end up with much DOMS from Disc 16 yesterday.

Judi - My HR was through the roof this morning too, but I did use the 8' step. Huh, I didn't know she said anything about what you should do for cardio during STS. Honestly though, I have to admit, I really don't care if I build anymore muscle because I really love how my muscles look right now and don't really want them any bigger. My biggest concern right now is leaning out so that they really pop!;) I just don't want to lose any of them, and so far so good. I will keep you posted as the weeks progress.

Today was Meso 2 Disc 17 Triset Legs. Had a tough workout in I had a difficult time getting my equipment together. Then I thought I was missing some of my Pace weights , but it just turns out that I cannot count to 18.
Anyway workout 54 minutes and I burn 437 calories.

Just finished mowing the lawn while listen to CCV8 and next thing I knew I was jogging behind my mower:p. That workout was 1:05 and I burned 453.
For a total of 890 calories.

Linda, you just created a new workout genre LOL!! Nice numbers on disc 17.

I did CCV7 on the stationary- does this one ever get any easier???

At one point my neighbor came over and saw me. I must have looked pretty stupid doing a semi run in place kind of thing behind my mower. She must think I am nuts and I can only imagine what she said to her husband when she went home.:p

I haven't done CCV7 yet, nor listened to it.

I have major DOMS in my butt which is a shame because the last thing I need is bigger butt muscles!:p That is exactly where I would not want hypertrophy to occur!

This morning I did Amy's KB Surge, doing some ab work after the w/u and adding Amy's In The Ring Med Ball Intervals 1-4 x 2 on to the end and finishing with the stretch from ITR. Workout was 1:30 and I burned 723 calories.:D

Linda- I'm joining you with the butt DOMS. I did Disc 14 Legs yesterday and it was a killer. My hammies are not happy either. Since I enjoyed the paper plate slides so much:rolleyes: I added weights and plates abs. I can't believe you did Amy's KB Surge with butt DOMS!! OUCH!

Catherine- I wish I had a nickel for every time I asked "why doesn't this get any easier!" CCV7 is a tough one especially the challenge where you do ten intervals switching between sprints and hills. I just wanna take a nap after that one! How has your foot been doing?

I have disc 15 back/biceps on tap for tomorrow then DH and I are off to a B & B to celebrate our 27th anniversary.

Judi, congrats on your anniversary!! Have a great time at the B&B

My foot unfortunately didn't like that I tried to do RS on Monday. Even though it was very modified and only 30 minutes. I guess stepping just isn't in my near future. I am getting so bored with the bike and now I am getting depressed seeing the Shock Cardio updates because I pre-ordered and don't know if I'll be able to do any of them.

Thanks!:D

I'm sorry that you are going through this:( I completely understand how frustrating it is. After my shoulder surgery, I was not allowed to do ANYTHING for nearly six months except PT. It sucked! Hang in there and vent anytime you want. I did and found it to be quite helpful;)

Thanks!:D

Thanks for understanding. I feel like such a whiney a** sometimes. Of course I just know if I had Cathe's aerobic flooring I could do more  I need to convince DH of that.

Happy Anniversary, Judi! Have a great time!

Catherine,
you need to get that darn foot of yours fixed!:(

I got an hour walk in. Don't know the calorie burn as I forgot to put my chest strap on.:( But it was a fast walk because DS & DD were with me on their bikes, and DD just had her training wheels raised and is a little shakey so 90% of the walk I was holding onto her handle bars.

Linda, you really are working hard these days. I don't see how you are keeping it all up with STS. You go girl!!

I just finished GS C&T followed by CCV4 on the treadmill. I only did incline walking for the challenges. No running/ sprinting. Foot seems ok. Last week when I did this I jogged a little. But I didn't want to push it after Monday. I am convinced with more time this thing will resolve. But if not I will keep experimenting with cardio to see what I can do.

Judi, have a great weekend!!

You'd think that all this weight would be long gone by now!:confused::confused:
Nice job on CCV4 hope your foot does okay!:D

Been at the beach all day, so just getting here.

This morning was Meso 2, Disc 18, Back & Biceps with a final backoff set dropping the weight by 40% and going to failure. Workout was 1 hour and I burned 336 calories. Then while DS was in school I went for a run using CCV7. It was suppose to be a walk, but Coach Sean gets to talking to me and next thing I know I am running!:p:p I did Challenge 1 & 2, but ran out of time for Challenge 3, but I was exhausted by that point anyway. Workout was 56 minutes and I burned 591 calories. Today's total is 927 calories burned.
