(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

This morning was the first day of Meso 2 which was Disc 13 Chest Shoulders and Triceps. Had a good workout, but felt weird not to be running around like crazy like in Meso 1. Then DS had summer school this morning for an hour so I went walking w/ DD in stroller. STS took me 1:06 and burned 337 and my walk was 1:03 and I burned 506 for a total of 843 calories burned. I feel like DianeSue today!:D

I'm treating this week as a recovery week since I finished Meso 1. Today was HIS/LIS double cardio. I'm thinking of doing P90X Yoga tomorrow.

Catherine- Great video!! How did it feel doing the chins with the tower? Was it harder, easier or about the same. WTG on the 5 you did!!

Linda- Great numbers on your first workout of Meso 2. I liked Meso 2 & 3 much more. Heavier weight, slower pace and shorter reps suits me better.

Linda, nice job with your w/o and walk today. I loved the change of pace Meso 2 brought.

Judi, ahhhh recovery week!! So did you decide what to do next week?

It was fun doing the chinups on the tower. I rewatched the video and saw my form going to crap really quick though:eek: I think they felt a little harder that way, but I was not warmed up so there's my excuse

I visited with my cousin(88 years old-who's more like an Aunt to me) this evening. She is having a mastectomy on Wed for ductal cell carcinoma. So no workout for me this evening. I knew I might not get to visit before the surgery and who knows at her age what might happen. I plan to start 4DS tomorrow- at least for a week LOL!

Disc 13 seemed slow in comparision to Meso 1 frantic scramble of switching exercises and equipment. I mean 1 minute rests with nothing to do. WoW!

Catherine
- Prayers to your Aunt. Loved the video, BTW.

Judi
- Enjoy your rest week!

Had a good chinning day yesterday

First set was 8/4 (unassisted/assisted); 5/4; 4/4; 4/4; 3/4; later 4/4. Wow - I think what proved to be most important was my grip - you gotta have a strong grip for really successful chins. That was one of my best sessions yet!

Great video with the "stupid human tricks"! That was fun. But the chins were NOT a stupid trick - tough, yes, stupid, no!

This morning I did DM scrambled cardio premix, workout was 51 minutes and burned 426 calories. Then late morning took what was leisurely 50 minute walk to me, with my client and burned 179 calories . And this afternoon I came home and hopped on the treadmill and did 3.75 miles in 55 minutes and burned 454 calories. Today's total 1059.:D

Cakebaker, impressive chinups there!! I am jealous :p

Linda, you are getting in some good workouts  Thanks for your prayers.

Well, I developed a headache at work and didn't workout AGAIN. I am beginning to wonder what's up:confused: I hate not being on a routine, but something is telling me to take it easy for a bit.

Catherine, sorry you are not feeling good again. Hope things get better.

I am doing the insane workouts, trying to shock my body into getting rid of this 10#. You know, Diane Sue has these calorie burns everyday and always puts this much time into working out, and I have no idea how she does it, because I know I will not be able to maintain this pace for an extended time.

Today was Meso 2, Disc 14 Triset Legs! I liked triset because it broke up exercises I hated instead of having to pound out three sets in a row. But I hated trisets because for the same reason it made exercises I hated last forever!:p I did do some of the extended stretch so workout was 1:03 and I burned 457 calories.
Then, this afternoon before the DOMS sets in, I decided to do CC2 revised on the TM. I went for 45 minutes about 3 miles and burned 429.
Today's total is 886.

TRISET LEGS

Squats(DB)
10/10/10 - 35's
One Leg Elevated Lunges
10/10/10 - 40#
Deadlifts Wide Stance(db)
10/10/10 - 42's

Static Lunge
10/10/10 - 30's
Plie Squats Alternating Hand
10/10/10 - 30#
One Leg Slide Back Lunges w/ Paper Plates
10/10/10 - 22's

Stiff Legged Deadlift on Platform
10/10/10 - 85#
Side Slide Lunges w/ Paper Plate
10/10/10 - 25#
Squats Narrow Stance(db)
10/10/10 - 35's

One Leg Calf Raises
20/20/20 - 15's (these burned like mad)

Linda, it's official- you've gone mad ;) CCV2 after STS legs

Well, I finally got a w/o in. I did 4DS KB leg work followed by CCV2 on the stationary. I have to admit I got a bit dizzy and light headed during CC so I stopped after the 2nd challenge  WTH is wrong with me?? Uggghh! I might have to break down and go see my doctor.

Oh, forgot to mention I did some chinups at the beginning of the w/o. I did 6/5/4/4- too tired for more

Hey, that's funny, we both did Legs and CCV2. Nice job on working out and the chins. I guess chins will be coming up for me on Friday in Back & Biceps. Sorry to hear that things still aren't quite right. Hope it passes soon, you've been through enough!

BTW, I am already feeling it in my hamstrings!

Oh Judi, where are you?

Hey Ladies-

I forgot to post yesterday....had a major meltdown with DD and her farting around with NOT getting registered for college. I won't go into detail but suffice it to say, she is now stuck taking two night classes and a Saturday class because there was nothing left. Another life's lesson right?!

Yesterday I did YogaX and today was Bento's ITR. I checked my HRM before stopping it and was at 499 calories so I just waited a few seconds to hit 500:rolleyes: It just seems like so much more! I know Linda understands;)

Catherine- Nice work on the chins! Don't forget you are coming back from surgery and time off so give yourself some time to get back into a routine. You'll get there!!

Linda- So nice to see another CC convert here. Have you done any iTrains? I don't like them as much as CC but Grace does give you the specific #'s to set your TM at. I always thought I was a runner until I did those. I fall somewhere in between a jogger and runner pace.

Oh, I so understand!:D:p:D:p:D:p

I do have one itrain and I find Grace annoying. Also since I am lousy at running my jogging pace is her walking and my running is her low jogging pace.:confused::eek::confused::eek::confused:
That's why I love Coach Sean, because he just give me a level and a HR range and doesn't care if I am slow as molasses, as long as I am working it!:p:p:p:p:p

Judi, I have to admit your meltdown with your DD made me smile, but only because here you are fighting about college issues and I am at the point where I am stressing over full day kindergarten with my DD.:p:p:p:p:p

So far today I did my own mix from Amy's In The Ring. I did the warm-up, then some ab work, then Combo 1 followed by all 4 Med Ball Intervals, Combo 2, then all 4 Med Ball Intervals x 2. And of course finished w/ cool down and stretch. Workout was 1:03 and I burned 522 calories.

Hoping to do some more later, but have to see how the day goes.
