(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

I think both you are doing great with your weights. You are not that far behind me. But I definitely know the feeling as I usually lag behind Fitnessfreak. :D

And apparently math during a workout is very difficult. I've messed it up enough times. Last week during triset legs I had the wrong weight for slide back lunges on the first set, so I added another set at end of the triset at the right weight. Also one day I was trying to find all my pace weights and for teh life of me could not count to 18, I kept looking for missing ones when in fact they were all there.

Well, DS has given me his cold and not feeling so good. Really worried about being able to finish the last two workouts of Meso 2, so I tried to go easier today and did LIC Cardio Timesaver premix adding the Blast only add-on to the end. Workout was 59 minutes and I burned 446.

I feel absolutely horrible and needless to say I did not want to workout this morning, but I only had two workouts left to finish this Meso. So I did it anyway, and it took everything I had to keep from walking away and say the hell with it!
Today was Meso 2, Disc 23 Triset Legs

TRISET 1
Leg Press
10/10/10 - 35#
Wall Squats
10/10/10 - 20's

TRISET 2
Stiff Legged Deadlift on Platform
10/10/10 - 90#
Side Slide Lunges w/ pp
10/10/10 - 26#
Narrow Stance Squats
10/10/10 - 40's

TRISET 3
25 Degree Lunges
10/10/10 - 31's
Plie Squats Alternating Hands
10/10/10 - 42#
Low Plane Lunges
10/10/10 - 12's

I may need to take a rest day tomorrow so I can get through Back & Biceps on Friday.:(

Today was a planned deviation from the P90X rotation. I did CCV3 instead of PlyoX. Just don't wanna risk PlyoX at this point. Tomorrow is shoulders and arms. Oh and my abs are sore from Ab RipperX:cool:

I had disc 17 legs on schedule for yesterday but switched to Disc 18 back/biceps instead as my legs were sore. I did Imax2 on Tuesday then DH and I went to the MN state fair and walked for 8 hours:confused: Lucky for me, I have a massage scheduled for this afternoon cuz now my lower back and forearms are sore too. I'm going to hit the elliptical today to work out some soreness.

Linda- I hope you feel better soon. You amaze me working out and lifting heavy even when you are sick.

Catherine- So, how does it feel doing P90X again? Is your chest on fire today? I remember the first few times I did chest/back with all those pushups...ouch! Same thing with ARX. I often subbed in other cardio as it got pretty boring after awhile.

I forgot to add that my pullups and chinups sucked yesterday!:( I really need to do them more than once a week.

Still feeling pretty lousy, but had that feeling this morning that maybe if I got some endorphins kicking I'd feel better. Didn't quite work that way. I took it real easy though. I did the w/u & step segment from S,P & J and the Step only premix from LM alll on a 6" step and I did not put a whole lot of energy into it. Still managed to burn 414 calories and it took about 1 hour.

Not sure how I am going to manage Disc 24 tomorrow?:(:(:(

Wow, IMAX2 and 8 hours of walking!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Linda- I hope you feel better soon. You amaze me working out and lifting heavy even when you are sick.

Yeah, I'm an idiot!

Hey ladies!! I've been running around all day  Fun stuff though. I had lunch with my KB trainer Katie. I haven't seen her since the Spring. I don't know if you remember me talking about her having cancer or not. Anyway she's done with therapy and scan was negative last week. She's back to training. She's doing some workouts but getting back at it slowly.

This morning I did Shoulders and Arms with Ab Ripper X. I am so proud of myself for doing the abs  It seems a bit weird doing a P90X rotation again. And my back and abs were more sore than my chest- go figure  I think that's because I was doing those drop sets in GS rotation.

Linda, I am sending lots of healing vibes your way!! Hope you are up to STS tomorrow ;)

Judi, I hope your massage gives you some relief for tomorrow's workout!!

Yeah...I'm an idiot too!

Well I must have really tweaked my left forearm on back/biceps and now I cannot squeeze, twist or apply pressure without shooting pain:( My massage therapist heated and gently worked the area but it is worse this morning. I've been icing, which helps, and will have to stop lifting until it gets better cuz I can't grasp a DB w/o pain. This sucks!

Anyhoo, yesterday I did the elliptical for 1 hour then hopped on the TM for another 40 minutes (walking) so I could finish watching True Blood disc 2.

Linda- Hope you are feeling better today. Being sick or hurt is the hardest part about being on a rotation like STS cuz it gets you off your schedule.

Catherine- So happy to hear the great news about Katie! Are you planning to take sessions from her again? I haven't been back to see Andrea since I got my AOS & Lauren dvd's. I mainly wanted to get my form down with her help then go off on my own. Great job on P90X:D

I'm heading to the cabin this weekend so I'll check back in on Tuesday. Have a good one!

Judi - Sorry to hear about your forearm, sounds awful. Often things that are bothering me feels worse the day after my massage therapist works on them, then they get better. Hope it heals soon!

It is finished. Meso 2 that is. I did not feel up the challenge at all this morning, but in the end was quite impressed with how well I did. Today was Disc 24 Back & Biceps w/ Drop Sets. It was only 43 minutes so I added the Step Only premix from Imax3. Workout was 1:10 and I burned 478 calories.

Linda, nice job on finishing out Meso 2. I don't blame you for not doing any assisted chins with your numbers you didn't need to ;)

Judi, I am so sorry about your arm. Man that stinks :( Have a good weekend at the cabin and rest it up a bit. I do plan to take a class with Katie again. I just don't know when I'll fit it in to my current rotation.

This morning was Yoga X. The only thing impressive about it was that I stuck it out through the whole 1.5 hours  I had to modify a bit and of course was falling all over the place with certain poses. But I am determined to stick with it because I know it's good for me:)

Judi - Often things that are bothering me feels worse the day after my massage therapist works on them, then they get better.

Linda- Very true so I'm hoping to rest it this weekend and be ready to go next week.

Catherine- I love YogaX but gotta be in the mood for it since it is so long. LOL on the falling....I can't stop tipping over during that last standing pose, half moon. Good thing I work out at home:confused:

Today was Legs & Back. My chinup/pullup numbers where so bad I am embarrassed to post them  I know I did 4 chins on my first set and it went down hill from there  I did lots of assisted reps with holds at the top and slow negative portion. My excuse is that I haven't been consistent with them:p Actually, that's why I'm doing P90X again, so I can get back into doing them more. Tomorrow is supposed to be Kenpo X but I am not sure if I'll do that or a CC on the bike. Oh and I did Ab Ripper X again today-woo hoo 3!! I haven't been this consistent with ab work in probably a year. And of course I feel it!!

Linda, I hope you are over your crud. I guess you are looking forward to a recovery week ;)

Judy, hope your arm is better!!

Catherine, how did your foot do with the leg workout?

I took a rest day today and will take my scheduled one tomorrow, then hopefully by Monday I will feel like participating in an "active" recovery.
