::::: CHEETAHS ::::: Wed., 3/21

Hey Girls.

Well, once again I nixxed my run. I just couldn't bear the thought...I was too darn tired after work so I came home, had some lunch and took a nap. When I got up I put in an oldie but a goody and had a Blast! Can anyone guess which work out I did?? ;) :7 :p I didn't do the challenge. I figured I shouldn't push it too much. It's amazing how much easier that work out seemed today even being under the weather! I haven't done it in a long time and yet the choreo came back easily and although I was sweating I was NOT huffing and puffing AT ALL! My cardio endurance has REALLY improved! I'm so happy!:+ :+ :+

So I noted in my work out log that I am on a break from the X for today until I feel better. I couldn't phathom the heavy lifting. I'm just not up to it. I will pick up where I left off as soon as feel better. It ticks me off to have to take a break this close to the end but I don't want to make matters worse and I REFUSE TO QUIT this close to the end too!!! I'm a stubborn Cheetah!:7

Just wanted to check in real quick...I have some things to do now but I will come back for personals in a bit. I promise!:)

Oh and btw, yesterday's work out made for some good DOMS in my lower body today! I invite y'all to try it one day!}(

Toodles!

Jackie - Yes, my lower back really does bother me with TJ...and yesterday when I did Last Minute Abs, I didn't notice anything at the time, but last night when I sat down to the computer.....by lower back felt like it "slipped" and kind of popped. I had a bad pain for a little while and was really worried. It seems okay, so far today, though. I try hard to concentrate on the tilt and tuck...but I don't think I have it right. :-(

G'afternoon Cheetahs!! It was a LowMax day for me, I'm keepin' it on the down low (impact, that is) until I can figure out my left leg. It's a good workout though, I always forget that!

I'm off to do CoreMax #3 now, I got an 8 lb medicine ball at Wal*mart today! (for $15.97 if anyone's looking for one!) I was going to get 20# dumbbells but there were all out!!! :-( So... I'll see if I can find them somewhere else. Allison & I ran some errands & got a few things done around here. It's turned out to be a nice day, warmed up to the 60's!

I'm feeling much better, so it had to have been something I ate. So far so good today.... We had a great time w/ my bf & her dh here last night. The kids love it when they came over & they brought a huge Culver's Concrete Cake! (which I had NONE of, thank you very much!) We had a nice dinner & played some games.

Ok, off to get in my workout before the girlies get home!
Have a good one, Cheetahs! And another ((HUG)) for Christine!

I'm so excited about my circuit class tonight. }( :7 }(

I have a workout CD that beeps every 4.5 minutes. It's specific to step intervals, so this should be fun and interesting.

Here is the layout so far.....any ideas, let me know.

Warmup - 5 minutes
Step - 4.5 minutes
Toning - squats w/military press (one motion); shoulder workout?
step - 4.5 minutes
toning - plie squats w/upright rows; tricep extensions
step - 4.5 minutes
toning - static lunges w/hammer curls; wall squats
Abs - 10 minutes
Stretch - 5 minutes

The class usually lasts for 45 minutes, so this will be just a little longer, but they won't care. }(

So , what do you think?
Marcia.

P.S. I posted this in the "X" thread, too, for feedback. Thanks.

Wendy :: you know, if you’re feeling too under the weather, I don’t mind if we reschedule…I am off for Easter break, so even a weekday GTG would be possible then.

Judy :: glad to hear Nina is doing well in her recovery. Did you settle on a name for the stray?

Sunny :: oh, I’m glad to hear you like Back & Bi…I have that one coming up later in the week.

Gayle :: mm, chicken tacos sound good…my appetite must be returning! Have fun tonight!

Christine :: aw, man…DH threw the ball? My heart just goes out to you all…this is just so WRONG! I find myself feeling angry at the reckless driver on her cell phone.

Shelly :: I loved the peaceful, happy image of Tucker you created. I can just picture it. You do have a gem of a hubby there. Lucky lady!

Jackie :: I like the 10 Min. Solutions KB but do not use it often. It’s more for when I want to do something light in a short amount of time. Sounds like a great run this morning.

Linda :: happy spring to you, too! :)

Susan :: my stomach is faring much better…I fear my appetite is returning to full force. *lol* Got any leftover bundt cake?? ;)

Marcia :: the workout looks good! I’d love to be in that class tonight – I need a good push!

So, it sounds like Wendy, Gayle, Carole, Shelly, Susan, and me are in for the RT so far. Anyone else?

I got home a little late today – we had a parent conference which ran a bit long. I’m going to eat something, relax/digest and then move on to Plyo as early as possible. I’m gonna have to give myself a good kick in the pants because I’m feeling really tired today, for some reason. In case I don’t get back here tonight, talk with you all in the AM!
