:::CHEETAHS:::Wacky Wednesday

gwd

Cathlete
Good morning ladies!

It's wacky alright cuz I'm actually planning on getting my bootay in gear in the next couple of minutes and heading out for what will be a VERY cold and windy 5 miler:eek:. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, eh?

Wendy - Well, you must be relieved that it's not pneumonia this time although I'm not sure bronchitis is all *that* much better. Hoping the little guy feels better soon! Oh boy, have fun with L&G...my fave leg workout. Hmmmm, haven't done that one in ages....

Jackie - So who was sent packing last night from DWTS? Lol about the hot flashes:p.

Cathy - Can't blame you for having to stand your DM up last night. At least it sounds like you're about caught up with the work? Your workouts will be there waiting for you when you're ready. The "D"OMS is sooooooo much better today, thank you!

Okay, must get suited (and layered:confused:) up and out the door if I want to get this in. See yas in a bit. Have a fabulous hump day!

Good morning, cheetahs! :)

Wendi :: WOW, it is windy & BRISK here--I can only imagine it being even more intense north of here. Hat's off to you, woman! Rock on! :) I am caught up with the bulk of the grading, yes! :) There are other things on my plate, but now I've got a better grip on things. I am ready n' rarin' to work out alright, but well, you know how it is--sometimes work has to come first. Just the way it is. Will get back on track this evening...Oy, it is time to dig out the layers, isn't it?

OK, I'm otherwise caught up on personals. Time to jet.

Have a fabulous Wednesday, everyone!

Good Morning Cheetahs!

I slept in this morning since neither myself nor Joey have no where to be today. Yeah, I slept until 6:30~That's "sleeping in" for me! I must be outta my mind!!!!:p

Today's work out is Legs n Glutes as produced. My body still hasn't fully recovered from MM! Thankfully it's my upper body but still...OMG, this rotation is gonna DOMS me to death I think!

Wendi: WOW, good catch with your DSO at dinner. He owes you BIG time! See? That's why I won't eat that stuff with out my "guide" by my side. ;) You are one brave soul to get out there in the windy cold darkness this morning. Have a great run! Bronchitis is no bargain but better then pneumonia and he's not running a temp so that's a good thing. He had a bit of a rough night last night though. He woke up crying twice and that doesn't happen unless he's had an accident in his bed. I don't know if it was bad dreams or because he's not feeling well. Poor baby. :(

Jackie: Did you enjoy DWTS last night? We don't watch it but caught a few minutes of it. It IS amazing how these folks learn how to dance like that. Speaking of which, my salsa lessons were put on hold. We will be taking the lessons the next time they are offered. Probably in November. Can't wait. Should be fun(ny)! LOL Slo Mo legs today? I am getting DOMS just THINKING about it.

Cathy: Sorry you had to nix DM last night. Hope you can double up tonight if that's your plan. Okay so I know it's a leetle late but I had picked up a little somethin' for you as a Congrats gift for after the marathon. I was supposed to mail it right after I got your race report but it never happened. Well it's going to happen TODAY so keep your eyes peeled. :) LOL about my not having a marathon time goal. That made me chuckle. I suppose you are right. :p I always thought 5 hours was a good goal but I'm rethinking that one and seriously thinking that will NOT happen. I am going to push it closer to 6...seriously! :)

K, all caught up so I'm off to refill the java.

BBL to see what's goin' on with my girls!:)

HI Friends-

Personals first:

Wendy- TG Joey does not have pneumonia. I have been looking at the Runner's World Complete Book of Running ( by Dagny S. Barrios) myself to figure out a base plan until I figure out a race plan. The intermediate training schedule seems to be where I am. Before revisiting this book. I thought I should have increased base milage quicker. But this book has given me permission to take my time.

Cathy- Yuck about having to put so much moola into your pearly whites. Good job on getting that school work done. Thanks for the suggestion on the pink bracelet. I'll pass it on.:)

Linda- Wow your race is getting closer! It is Nov. 1 right? Do you have to travel far to get to it? I forget.

Shelly- Your training must be agreeing with you if 20 felt decent! It must be very tricky to balance a home, work and and a marathon schedule!

Carole- I laughed at you sitting on your hands! I have a sibling who triggers me in that way too.

**** cute moment here**** Waldo is on his back, paws and belly in the air, between the keyboard and the monitor.

OK, I am running sort on time here I'll try to get back later to finish up. I have to hurry to get in PUB/PLB premix and then get my Dad to a doctor's appointment. TaTa!

Morning Cheetahs!

I don't know why the first two days of the week fly by so quickly! It's Wednesday already!!

Anyway, I'm back to Barry's bootcamp this week. M: arms and abs, ASCIII abs and 6.25 treadmill run; T: legs and ITR; W: chest and abs, and will go to the stairs after the kids get on the bus. :)

Wendy ~ I **know** sleeping in for me is about 6:30A as well. How's Joey feeling today? Which rotation are you doing!??! ;)

Cathy ~ How have you been feeling post-mary? Sounds like you had a lot of catch up work to do. Is your quarter ending soon? I can't believe it's almost here for us.

Wendi ~ Enjoy that brisk run! It's a pain w/all the layers, isn't it? Last week at the stairs, I completely overdressed. It is much colder today though. How are you feeling? Was it a relapse? Hope you're feeling better.

I will definitely be back to read/catch on the rest of you! Oh, the doc said if the pain persists (re: the cyst) that I can have the fluid removed w/a needle. Yikes! I think I'll wait for it to dissipate on its own.

Have a great day!

~BBL

ETA: Hi Judy...posting at the same time. So, what race did you decide to run? I miss a few days of posting and it's like a whole chapter of a book that didn't get read. ha ha ;)

So I only have a second here to post but I just had to tell you guys what happened to me this morning:eek:. Had a great hilly 5.4 miler, held a 9" pace despite the head wind I ran into more often than not, and felt uber-strong up the hills:D. The one glitch....I got run over by a reindeer:eek::eek::eek:!!!! Um, NO joke:eek:! Okay, maybe not run *over* but hit, at least. I think we both spotted each other at the same time (I was only about 2' from her) and when she peeled out one of her back legs caught my foot:eek:. I will say I'm not quite sure how I managed to stay on my feet between the trip, the shock and the laughter:D. See, when I tell ya I've got some tame deer I ain't kidding LOL!!!!

Cathy - So what workout do you have on the agenda for tonight? I have to say the weather (and incident) made for a rather exhilerating run:p!

Wendy - Glad you "slept in" although it sounds like neither of you really got a good night's sleep:(. I know what you mean about 6:30 being late;). Enjoy L&G!!! LMAO about you "DOMSing to death:D:p".

Gotta fly! See you all tonight!

I'm still alive but still sick and now my little one is too. Just checking in to see how you all were doing and glad I did. Wendi- you made my morning. Laughing so hard with this cold is not good. Took me a while to catch my breath back without coughing. Santa will be happy to know his reindeer are nice.

Off to make some hot tea and sit on the sofa with my little one.

Sorry you are still feeling crummy, Karen. I'm even more sorry that your little one caught it. :( Both of you rest up today. Hopefully you'll both be healthy real soon!

Happy Hump Day All!

Linda – Glad to hear the appointment went well. I have the astigmatism as well, but my contacts don’t correct for it, so when I look at certain things I see them differently, but hey, I can work with it. My mom also had glaucoma so I get tested yearly. Oh joy. Wow, your race is really soon! I cannot wait to hear all about it. How are you feeling?

Judy – My DH would love to live where you are with the rain – he loves it. Good job with the hills! They sound nasty on iTread 5! Your salad sounds wonderful.

Jackie – I love a good looking man in a kilt! :p Too funny about a beer-free Oktoberfest. Around here they shut down city streets and serve beer anyway. Beer and wine festivals are big here.

Shelly – great job on the 20 miles! Wonderful pace! When is your marathon again? I’m looking forward to hearing the report. I know you’ll do fabulous!

Thomasina – Kettlebells… :D Why should your DH be any different than mine? I had too many chips yesterday. Oh well, one bad meal is not the end of the world. I re-upped my membership as well. Good job on eating well! Fortunately some of my bad influences will be gone for a few weeks, so it should be easier.

Wendy – Hope DS is feeling better. I absolutely agree that it’s better to be safe. Glad you went especially as bronchitis can turn into pneumonia. I hope he manages to get some good sleep. Poor little guy. Oh, what bell video haven’t you tried?!

Cathy – oh good! We’ll have fun zipping around the marathon! It’s not like Chicago with the streets that form nice convenient U’s, etc, to give you many viewing options. My friend’s son is going as a blue monster, so I want to find a big cookie costume for Jimmy. Oh sorry about the Chinese and Mexican food thing – I need to get serious about dieting, too!

Carole – I can only imagine the frustration of being a Raider fan. I think the 49ers are in the same boat as their owner pretty much ignores them and only steps in to do some firing. They should have kept Mariuchi. He was at least cute.

Wendi – Oh ouch! I hope you manage your run today! DOMS can be sneaky, I’ll tell ya! At least it waited until the last horse. Oh I would have had fun helping you pick and choose Indian food. Sounds like you got a nice selection though! Too bad about the tree guys! Enjoy your windy, cold 5 miler. Brrr…. Too funny about your deer story! I’m glad you weren’t hurt! Glad you felt good and strong on your run!

Dallas – Enjoy BBC! Hope the pain goes away soon! That needle option does not sound like fun!

Karen – hope you’re feeling better soon!

Today is Have Mercy. I’m going out to dinner with a friend who is leaving my company. :( We’ll have a good time. It’s going to be weird at work with my officemate gone for her wedding (how exciting!) and my friend gone permanently. So it will be very quiet for the next two weeks. Have a good day all! *Walks out of forum singing “Wendi got run over by a reindeer…*

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...I am sure Christine, Posh and I would do it all again!!! It was quite a fun experience and meeting new cheetahs is always something I look forward too. Ahh, you didn't eat ALL my Enlytens, but when I got home and did laundry I did wash the ones that were left...:(..made my cheetah shirt a bit messy! Funny about the cereal talk. I love Post Banana Nut Crunch and Rite Aid has been having a great sale of a box for $1.99 compared to $4.99...ummmm..I have 6 boxes!!!

Wendi...Yes, Cathy is a great friend...:)..I have been good at restraining myself around THAT sis for along time. We have wind here but it is not cold. Darn, they voted off Toni Braxton on DWTS! WOW...I have had deer close but not that close. Glad you did not fall.

Wendy..so sorry little Joey has bronchitis! I hope the meds work soon. Yes, I do deadlifts, leg exts, leg curls and calf raises for my PLB exercises. Sounds like a fun rotation. John is out of rehab and recovering at home. Thanks for asking. Have fun with L&G today.

Judy...Now you see why I try and avoid my oldest sis!! Enjoy your Pyramids premix. How nice you will accompany your Dad to his Dr appt.

Karen...sending healing vibes to you and your little one..

Christine..Al Davis has been a PITA for a LONG time. I think Tom Flores was the last coach that was able to actually coach!! IA with Mariuchi being a cutie...:D..Sorry your friend is leaving work...:( always sad to see friends go. Enjoy Have Mercy....okay I about spit out my coffee reading your song!!!!...
lol6.gif
LMAO!!!!

Jackie...it always seems a vicious circle for me a bit of weight gain, depressed, bad eating choices, injuries and it continues until you figure the way to stop it! Have fun with Slo Mo legs...

Dallas..I didn't know you had a cyst? Good job with the BBC's.

Today is P90X B&B and a 5 mile tempo run in the wind!

Have a great day...:)

Good morning!

Carole – LOL…I know it is not funny to you (cause it is such an aggravation!), but I can just see your sis running her mouth and you sitting on your hands trying not to say anything or slap her! You had great restraint! :) Yes, Patty really did want to do the whole distance beforehand…she actually wanted to do a little more than the distance. She wanted to make sure she knew we could do it. As the mileage picked up and she had her back, Achilles and hamstring issues, I think she realized that would not be a very good idea. Thanks for your confidence in me! :) Enjoy your windy run and P90X!

Wendy – I am glad Joey doesn’t have pneumonia! Sorry about the bronchitis, though! I know that is no fun, either! Enjoy your Centergy and L&G!.

Wendi – Oooo! That Bare Naked Granola sounds delicious! The didn’t have that kind when I got mine! But it is dangerous, dangerous stuff! ;) Oh my! You may get snow tomorrow? I heard that we may have a little bit of snow in the mountains….but I am not in the mountains…so none for us! I hope your DOMS gets better! Oh my gosh!!! That is amazing about the reindeer! LOL…you are lucky you didn’t go down!

Jackie – You are so lucky that they haven’t had to dilate your eyes! I wonder why they don’t? I missed DWTS last night. I had a dinner to go to and didn’t get to watch. What happened? How did Cloris Leachman do?

Judy – Enjoy your PLB/PUB premix! I hope your dad’s appointment goes well! Yes, my marathon is getting very close! It is Nov. 2. (in Sunday). I am getting excited….but very nervous :)

Dallas – Are you doing BBC….the “original’ one…or the newer one with the Transformer thingey? I don’t have the new one…but I love the first one! Missed ya the past few days! Great job with your workouts!!

Karen – I am glad you popped in! I hope you are 100% better soon!

Cathy – Good grief! Now I am coughing and my throat is sore. I am going to try not to worry about it, because I am hoping it is just from what we were talking about…and maybe with the tapering…I will get better not great “really” sick.

Christine – I really don’t think I could ever put contacts in my eyes! I just can’t stand anything in my eyes, or sticking my fingers in there! Everyone tells me I would get used to it…but I just haven’t been able to make myself . I am feeling pretty good….but I am coming down with cold-like symptoms :( I am excited…and nervous ! :) LOL….oh my gosh….that is exactly what I started singing to myself when I read Wendi’s post! Bless her heart….I could just see it, now :) Enjoy your Have Mercy and your dinner. Sorry your friend is leaving!

I was out late last night, so I didn't do anything this morning.

I just found out Patty is going to have to be out of town this weekend, so won't be able to do our last long run before the marathon together.

My gosh....sorry about this long post!

Hey to everyone!

race pics

Hey if you want to see the race pics of Miss Shelly and I from the 18 miler go here http://orders.islandphoto.com/apps/RaceEvents.aspx. Choose LBI 18 miler and then our bib #'s which are 195 (Shelly) and 111 (me). I must say these are the best race pics of me ever! I think it's because I had Shelly with me. She made me laugh so the pics were always decent. Never had that look of pain on my face like I usually do. :p

top o' the mornin'

Mornin’ Friends,

Started some of these personals last night so I wouldn’t take so long this morning and encroach into my limited work out time..lol. I’m trying out new ways to be able to post more regularly with my busy schhhhheedule. Anyhoo, have to hurry though as I have some appts and errands to do before work….Friends, I am so having a mental resistance to the dreadmill these days so I think my takin’ it back to the streets is going to happen tomorrow morning – can’t wait til Sat afterall! LOL

Wendy – Coolio you have that awesome book already – one of my favs. If you decide to go with TNT, you’re gonna have a great first marathon experience; I did. Can’t beat the support, coaching and camaraderie involved and it seems those folks got a lot of heart into the goal as well. To me, it is a win-win seetcheeation…lol. I can’t come out in May to cheer you since I’ll just be de-barking a cruise ship, but I’ll sure cheer you in spirit! Good thing ya’ll were able to get lil’ Joey to the MD; hope he feels better soon.

Linda – Sorry about your eye exam. But you’re right about the glaucoma. I’ve never had to do the eye dilating thing..hmmm. So you will be running your last long run alone? You’ll do fine! As for having a cough and sore throat, I’d take some vit C and I’ve heard zinc will help rid the throat thing. Also, some peeps swear by Echinacea…

Cathy – Ooooooh, I get it…the dentist ate all your $$$. Yeah, we had that happen here too a while back. I hope you’re feelin’ ok, my friend. May have to have a bake sale with Happy Sunday for your airfare! lol.. Good to ask fellow runners for suggestions on the area – um, just from reading your “poster”, I doubt the kids would be out to bury ol’ Teach. There were some great writings, but me thinks my fav is still “Feebs U ight “ lol… Oh, and here’s another song to get stuck in ur head…”Caaaaaaahlifoooorneeyuh Dreeeeeeeamin”…”California Dreamin’”….

Carole – Cool, I saw Helen once too - running during a half marathon about 5 years back. She ROCKS! I still have a picture of her finishing CIM in 2002 with the clock reading 4:31:39 and she’s hugging her hubby – she had just shattered the world record for women 80 years old. Yah, I knew you were teasin’ silly, gurl. I’m gonna ask Claudia (MT’s name) how is she gonna eat that many dinners in one weekend – the cheetahs wanna know. LOL

Wendi – Good! glad you made it to the MD! lol. Mmm chili, fires, and snow…sounds like winter is on the way out yonder. We had some wind yesterday too, just enough to blow the leaves around. That exact cereal is my FAVORITE! They just had a sale on it at Raley’s and I stocked up. I eat a serving (3/4 cup) almost everyday before a workout.

Jackie – I like that quote from Helen too! She has lotso admirers I’m sure. LOL’ing at the hot flashes comment…Good luck with your 10 miles! You’ll do great – just pretend you are our bad mamma jamma, Helen…lol

Judy – Have fun with the pyramids! Love em’! Awe, Waldo sounds like he’s REALLY relaxed – cute!

Dallas – Hey girl, I was wondering where you went…but I knew you were prolly just caught up in your Super Mom role… lol… Can you believe it is now cold in Chicago? sheesh..

Karen – Hope ya’ll feel better soon…

Christine – Huh? what are your bad influences? just curious… Um, re: kettlebells…ok, so I admit I PRICED the blasted things…and quickly did a UH HUH (Carole? please insert shaking head no smiley here) cuz them babes AND the DVD’s just can’t squeeze into the budget about now…spending all my $$ on vet bills and automotive things then the propane peeps are gonna be grabbing up their portion of my next pay check and well, you get the picture…lol. Maybe something may happen for Christmas. I noticed they have something going on at my gym with kettlebells, so I may even check that out (if I have time) first to see if I even like them…ya know?

Ok, whew, typing up some personals last night shaved 35 minutes off my personals posting time…people? this is an all new PR for me.. LOL

Have a great day, ya’ll..

POSH

Wendy and Shelly – Those are awesome race pics! Very good! Thanks for posting, Wendy!
You guys didn’t even look the slightest bit tired!

Posh – Wow! 35 minutes off your total posting time! Great PR! ;) Thanks for the info heading off the cold! I will try the Vitamin C and Zinc!

Good morning ladies!

Cathy - Maks is no longer with us on DWTS. His partner was Misty May. She injured her foot and had to drop out. So all that "fineness" is gone. :( Wish I could give you a raise for all that you do. Hope you can get a run in somewhere. :D

Wendi - Don't like running in the cold. When my half is over, I'll probably be hitting the ol' treadmill again on Saturdays. Toni Braxton got the boot last night on DWTS. It's really time for Cloris to go but I guess her fans like seeing her there. She is a hoot but, it's getting tired. Good chilly run in spite of the deer! You have been having some close encounters with the animal life the last few days. They love you, huh? :D

Wendy - Glad you took advantage of having no where to be this morning. If my legs are going to be sore all the time, think I'll cut back on the leg work. I like to watch the kids perform on the results night. They are so good. You need to learn the Salsa. It looks like fun. Be sure and learn the lifts and the spins. :p Think I'll be feeling Slo Mo tomorrow. OUCH!! Thanks for sharing the race pics! Of course, you ladies look great!

Judy - Waldo likes to stay in the mix with the Cheetah posting, huh? Too cute!

Dallas - Good job with the workouts! Don't blame you for letting the fluid dissipate with no help from the dreaded needle.

Karen - You and the little feel better soon.

Christine - I love to see a man with a good pair of legs too. Enjoy dinner with your friend. Will she be moving out of town? Ok, now that song will be in head all day long. :D

Carole - I laughed when I read you were stocking up on Banana Crunch cereal. I've been getting these $2 off coupons on Kashi Vive and been stocking up too. The only thing is I go through a box in a week's time and I'm down to 2 1/2 boxes now. Will be looking for more coupons. Enjoy the windy tempo run. Tempo runs are my least favorite.

Linda - I asked the dr. about dilating my eyes once and he said I didn't need it because of the equipment he was using. It took all kinds of pictures of the eye. Now since we have vision insurance, I'm going to a different one. He didn't say anything about dilating either. Might ask him about it too. Cloris last 2 dances have been pretty good for someone 82. But, I think her partner manipulates her body to make her move the way he needs her to move. That's good too. They have to do hip hop next week. I'm sure she will be fun to watch again.

Posh - Sorry you and the dreadmill are not having fun these days. Hope getting back outside will do the trick for you. Yeah, I'll use Helen as my image to push through these long runs over the next few weeks. I'd really like to do a 10:00 pace for the race. I know the main thing will be to enjoy the race. This will be my 3rd half and it will be the biggest I have participated in. I heard there was entertainment all along the way. WTG shaving 35 minutes off posting.

Today's workout was Slo Mo Legs and Core. I shortened the workout by leaving off a set of each move and left the last move out completely. Think my bootay will be sore tomorrow. :p

Happy Hump Day!

Jackie: Good job on Slo Mo Legs. Must tell us how you feel in the morning! ;) Oh no, I don't intend to have a sore lower body every day. I just think I'll have a sore SOMETHING every day. LOL Yesterday it was everything, today it's upper and tmrw no doubt, it'll be lower. :) Um...I think we'll be skipping the lifts in salsa class. I'm sure we'll learn a spin or two though. Atleast I hope so.

Linda: The fact that we don't look tired is all a great illusion thanks to Miss Shelly! Unless ofcourse, all of the pics were taken prior to mile 10. Then maybe it's for real. :p No Centergy for me today. Joey is home today because the doc wants him on meds for 24 hours before returning to school. It would have been wrong of me to take him to the gym and allow him to spread the germies there instead so we stayed home today. I plan to take centergy on saturday morning instead. :)

Posh: It's very encouraging to hear you speak so highly of TNT. I am getting very excited about this. The thought of training with them is really cool. :) LMBO at your personals posting PR time. Cute. ;)

Carole: So glad John is out of rehab. He must be happy about that. Enjoy your work out today. So your mom hasn't picked up a cigarette yet has she? I hope she's still doing well. So I am confused. Is John's mother your sister that runs or is it another one?

Christine: Sorry your friend is leaving your company. It's sad when the co-workers you actually LIKE leave, huh? I've been at my silly little job for almost 3 years now and there is only one woman left of the folks that worked there when I started. I loved the people I used to work out with (well, most of them) and one by one they quit. It's so depressing. :( The bell work out I haven't tried is a dvd comprised of 2 20 min full body work outs and a 6 min abs work out. It's by some guy I had never heard of named Ryan Shanahan out of Canada. It was cheap so I bought it. At first I was disappointed in the short length of the work outs but after previewing them I think they will be a good addition to my collection...if I ever get to do them! LOL

Judy: Waldo sounds too cute!!!! Glad you were able to get good info on your base mileage. I'm still working on that one....

Dallas: Joey is coughing alot though I think otherwise he feels fine. No fever and did alot of running around in the house before. I am doing Fitness Freak's 08 leg blast rotation with a few modifications.

Wendi: Absolutley hysterical riendeer story!!! You really are lucky you didn't get injured though. They are STRONG animals!

Looks like I'm caught up now. Just in time to get DS up for a nap and get rollin' with my lower body torture for the day!:p

BBL!

Oh thank goodness the leg torture is over with for today!:p Next week will be worse though as the lower body work out is Butts n Gutts in full! YIKES! That'll teach me to complain, ey? ;)

Afternoon Ladies!

I have personals typed in a Word document, but the thing went mad, I tell ya!!! I'm trying to fix it so I can post it. I have no idea what I did. I went to highlight, copy/paste it and it messed up all my sentences. What the heck!!?!? Anyone else have this happen?

Let me go look at it. I hope I figure it out before the bus gets here...10 min and counting. UGH!

~BRB

OK, have no idea what happened. Whew...I saved it. I didn't proof either. :p

Jackie ~ WTG on your PR for your 5K! Great time!! Cool – getting a huge trophy for your workout room too. ☺ Slo Mo and two sets for lower body can still get ya! Let us know how you feel tomorrow. ;)

Christine ~ You’re playing in smart re: Tour Di Stupid. It looks like you’re racking up some good bike miles though. 10 hours on a bike is a long time! Lol’d about your singing about the reindeer:D, which reminds me Costco is all decorated and playing Christmas music already. Unbelievable!

Cathy ~ Thanks about the report card on the nutrition site. I’ll tell dh. Did you find any cheap flights for December? The city is just beautiful during the holidays. I wished we got there more to really enjoy it. Lol’d re: your running motto. :D Your massage sounds wonderful. Need to schedule those more frequently. That’s a good idea about running at school. You just might inspire some teachers to run or run with you.:D

Linda ~ Glad your dd is doing better and that surgery can wait until after the baby. Your eye script changed too. I just ordered some new glasses myself. I definitely need to be wearing my glasses a lot more.:confused:Oh well, that’s the way it goes. Yes, I’m doing the original BBC. I don’t have the new ones. I don’t think I’ll be ordering them though. BBC’s really get ya, in a short amount of time. Lol Good luck with your last long run. Could you find someone to ride along side of you on a bike?

Wendi ~ OH my!!! Are you ok? I can’t believe that happened to you! IA I miss that yummy smiley too. lol’d about your jumping out of a plane for thrills. You let me know if/when you do it how that goes….no thanks. ;):p

Posh ~ Glad your ds was ok after that football hit. :eek:Hopefully, my kids stick with soccer. ;) The games are getting rougher lately. Did you make that mammo appt yet? Your MT is coming to Chicago? Wow, that will be nice. IA trying to be creative with getting posts in with a busy schedule.

Karen ~ Are you feeling better yet? And now your little one?

Carole ~ WTG on the 15 miler! How did that go over with your oldest sister re: missing the baby shower? I have not watched much football this season. Back to P90X? How did that tempo run go?

Judy ~ I copied your lasagna recipes. Cute about your dd and her teammate’s dinner and candles.

Shelly ~ WTG on your 20 miler. 6 more – no problem….wow!! Also, hats off to you on hitting 45 miles/week. Go Cheetah go! You and Carole would run circles around me.:D

Gloria ~ Sorry about your dh’s cousin. How’s that DOMS from HSC? :p Hope things slow down for you.

Wendy ~ You’ll love running w/TNT. I liked the water stops. :p ha ha No, seriously they had gels and water on the course. I just found out our head coach is leaving. :( However, the other coaches are just as wonderful. :)Anyway, they’ll give you form pointers, have track/speed workouts, clinics after the long runs. It really is well organized. They have a winter team that has recently started. Next April I’ll join them again for the Chicago marathon. I also see CARA out running when we’re running. They have a huge group too. Their fundraising isn’t quite as steep. Glad Joey is OK. What’s your BIB#. I must have missed that. I want to see your pictures too.

Homework time...

Have a good one!
