Good morning, cheetahs I'm SO happy it's Friday...
Marcia :: glad the circuit class was a hit! How'd the b-ball team do?
Wendy :: I don’t mind being exposed to germs, but I’ll leave it up to you – I know how it is with a cold -- sometimes you *wanna* do something, but after pushing yourself through the workweek, your body’s just beggin’ for rest. How do you feel today?
Christine :: the new job sounds like a dream commute. The puppy also sounds like a good idea. Still thinking of you & the fam.
Judy :: I tried to visit the memorial, too, but no access. I would like to see it. Thoughts will be with you today at the funeral.
Carole :: I don’t think I can hold out much longer with your reviews of BBC!!!!! Agghhhhhh!
Jackie :: I did get my workouts in yesterday at least, but I went to bed at 8!! How is Yoga for Hips & Thighs? I just received Yee’s Yoga Burn last night but didn’t preview it. I saw that AFV episode you mentioned. Sorry about the race snafu – but you’re right, you do have plenty of time to train now, right?
Linda :: great workout! I have an appointment next Friday (I go once a month) so I will be sure to talk to my doc. But I am positive it is the meds. The side effects are listed on the literature and I have researched on the internet. I noticed a definite change when the dosage increased. We'll see what can be done.
Shelly :: have a great time with your company this weekend!
Susan :: hope your back is feeling better today. Don’t worry about a belated tooth fairy visit. I can imagine it would tug at the heartstrings to register your little one for kindergarten.
Gayle :: I polished off some Haagen Dasz ice cream last night, too (chocolate fudge brownie – lowfat) I think reading your post in the AM planted the seed in my head.
Thanks, everyone, for your concern. I don’t think there are any alternatives to my current meds – they are the “last resort” – but I do plan to talk to the doc about what I’ve been experiencing on this new dosage. I also went to the message boards Carole suggested a couple of weeks ago and was so relieved to find that LOTS of people are going through the same thing. Unfortunately, some people had to give up working out altogether. THAT’S not happening here! But it does feel reassuring somehow to know that I’m not alone. I will manage.
OK, I am about to tackle Kenpo and that’ll knock out my workout for today (no pun intended). Our secretary was desperate, so I agreed to chaperone tonight’s dance. Didn’t really want to, but she was in a jam and nobody else was stepping up… I will be in class at 12 noon, but here’s hoping I get to be one of the 105!!!
Have a good day! More (((HUGS))) to Judy, Christine, and Kristi.
