Glad you ladies got in! Yippee!! I didn't make it in time. Think I was #168. Maybe next time. I don't think that many people will cancel out on this. You will have enough fun for all of us.

Linda - Nice run. Glad your leg and hip are doing fine. May have to use Vol. 1 in my rotation next month for the leg work.

Shelly - Good luck with your 10K tomorrow. Do us proud!

Kristi - Don't sweat the workouts. You've had a lot going on. I'm sure you'll get back on track next week. Hope dd feels better.

I didn't bother putting myself on the list cause it was already 50+ people long when I got there. I didn't see the point. I COULD attempt to make a day trip but it's gonna take me 1-1.5 hours to get down there most likely and your schedule will be packed while you are there! We can talk about it when it gets closer though...it's an option atleast. :)

I told my DH that I was gonna drive down there on friday night and hide in a dark corner. I'll jump out and pounce on some unsuspecting road tripper, steal her clothes and go as someone else! }( }( }(

I just have to make sure I don't pounce on a Cheetah!:eek:

Good Afternoon ladies,

today's workout almost didn't happen. i had one appt and the only time he could do it was at the same time as spin. but he called to reschedule so off to class i went. wasn't as good this week as last week. different instructor and different music, i didn't connect with either.:( oh well still got my cardio in for the day and i got my trainer delivered today. wooohooo!!

congrats to all of you lucky ladies going on the RT. takes some pics for us that can't make it this year.

wendy- you are too funny. i just bet you would do it }( :7

carole- do you know anything about solar nails? the nail place close to me offers this option. i just never heard of them before. bbc-chest and abs is another goodie from the BBC collection!

cathy- are the meds you are taking for acne? forgive me if i missed this piece of information.

kristi- oh boy, i sincerely hope dd gets better really soon. i know how awful it is when something is wrong with your precious babies. so sorry to hear about your aunt passing. (((hugs)))

linda- sounds like a fun workout you had today!

christine-fingers crossed you will soon become the new parents to one of tuckers relatives.

jackie- yippppppppee, you found a race close to you!! S& A is my favorite workout from tony!

shelly- best of luck for tomorrow's race. although i know you won't even need you. you are in awesome shape. go cheetah!!

Hey gang -

Congrats to those going on the RT and bummer to those (like myself) that can't. We expect TONS of pics and play by play ;-)

OK - I don't know if any of you will see my post on the open forum so I will ask you here. I'm wondering, can't believe I'm saying this but, maybe I need to eat more???? You all know I'm trying very hard to lose weight - doing LOTS of cardio and the "X", but the scale does not budge AT ALL.....so I'm wondering if I need to eat more to help fuel my body with all the working out I'm doing.

So, any ideas what to add? Something quick and easy. I realize fruits and veggies, but how about raisins (eating them now :9 ) or trail mix? Protein bars? I'm at a loss, I guess.

Here's my 'typical' menu for the day:

3 Eggs for breakfast with veggies in it.

Lunch is usually a wrap with lean protein, veggies OR salad
Carrots/dip.
Yogurt

Snack: nuts, fruit

Supper: Lean protein, veggies

Any ideas......THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!

I just finished Cardio and Weights. It felt really good to get moving again. I managed to be able to breathe through the entire work out! I also did it with out taking a nap first! I amaze myself sometimes!:p

I'll be back. :)

Jackie :: I’m gonna check out the Hips & Thigh Yoga…As if I need to be buying MORE workout DVDs/gear…*lol* Glad you found a relatively close 10K!!

Linda :: I do not really feel like chaperoning tonight, to tell you the truth. I would love nothing more than to crash early. But hey, it’s an easy $70.

Shelly :: good luck in tomorrow’s 10K! Cracked up about the firing squad. Middle school dances *are* interesting!

Kristi :: what a week you’ve had! Glad DD is on the mend after the hospital drama! It is such a shame about your aunt…I’m sorry you couldn’t be at the funeral today.

Wendy :: I’m totally cool with rescheduling :)…and was definitely not worried about germs or anything! But I do know how it is when you feel sick and rundown – sometimes pushing yourself through your daily chores & responsibilities takes a whole lot outta ya and you’re just not up for the social stuff. I’m sure it is even harder for a busy mom to get some rest & recoup! So, do that and then we’ll toss some dates around to make it happen. April for sure!!!

Marcia :: I didn’t see your post on the open forum…so how many calories would you say you consume per day? It could very well be that you are not getting enough because it sounds like you are active during the day PLUS you've got your monster workouts on top of that. You really need to do the portioning, measuring, and recording to know if you are eating too little. You can also figure out how many calories your body needs just to maintain itself – try www.caloriesperhour.com for some calculators. It might be a real good idea for you to zigzag your calories.

Sunny :: sorry the spin class wasn’t as good today…but congrats on the good news ~ getting your trainer!! WOOHOO!!… Yes, I am taking isotretonoin. My skin looks fab, but the rest of my body is in decline...*lol*

Well, I am still in disbelief that I did not make the cut! I was SO looking forward to spending a workout weekend with so many of my cheetahs. But I am seriously so close to all the action that I will crash SOMETHING!

OK, gonna try to squeeze in a catnap before the chaperoning fun begins!

Wendy & Cathy- Alot of joy in getting to go on the roadtrip is gone now that I realize you two aren't going;( But seriously, we've got to find a time out where we can all get together during this time.

Also, I am going to be in New Jersey for races on June 16th and June 24th. The one on the 16th is the George Sheehan classic (a 5 miler)
very close to you Wendy. In fact, DH and I will be staying in a hotel in Middletown the night of the 15th. The one on the 24th is at Pine Beach, further south. It is the pinebeach5k, www.pinebeach5k.com. I actually ran this one last year and you can look me up on last years results on the top 5 placers in age categories (I came in 5th) This one is fun and has a complentary BBQ afterwards hosted by The Outback :9 I really really really hope that either or both of you can come run with me!!!!!

Carole, Susan, Gayle, (any other cheetah who is going) Anyone interested in sharing a hotel room? I promise I won't snore or hog the bathroom! :)
