hi Cheetahs,
I'm postponing my long run for today and planning to do it tomorrow because of what feels like a chest cold. I've run 11 miles the past two Sundays and was planning on doing 8 today, but feel a little feverish and achy, so I just did some light upper body weights and Coremax.
Party plans for the 4 parties here at my pad in the three-day period next weekend are on track. Things are shaping up and my kids go back to school Tuesday and I want to focus on that now.
Elaine--good luck with the 20 miles out from your house.
Carole -- I love the pictures. We have a lot of deer families around where I live and I see them often when I run. Have fun on your trail run with friends.
Cathy -- I love BC weights. I did the tape yesterday and again earlier this week. I forgot how much I enjoy it. I think the core work on it is great. A lot of oblique focus -- which is good for me. P.S. the yard at my house is smelling better today. Watering has helped!
Shelly-WTG on your race!! That's awesome. You must be enjoying the afterglow today!
Jess--How are you today after your long, long run? What did you eat for lunch with your dad.
Laura-- glad your dad was ok. Sounds like you are feeling a lot better these days. Yahoo!!!
Adri--so you live anywhere near Cape Elizabeth in Maine? I have a friend who has three kids who lives there. Her oldest is in 8th grade -- same age as my oldest son. When do you start back to school?
Hi to everyone else checking in later: JenniferMaria (are you a guy? that's what your profile said, so I'm confused!), Dina, The Wendy-meister, Gayle, Mattea, Katrina -- nice long run yesterday!, FitKansasChick -- have you heard of the Girls on the Run program for teens?, Katie - hope your back is feeling better and Judy --how's the hip? and everyone else I am forgetting!!!
