Just stopping in quick to say - I LOVE that Cathy - Unleash the Beast Within!" That's a winner to me!! You're so good! Great job on the run, too!
LD - hope your son feels better soon! Poor thing - and poor mommy!! I know what you mean when you say it breaks your heart when they're sick. My DD is 14 and it STILL breaks my heart.
Susan - glad you survived the sleepover okay - the pedicure sounds really cute!! And good for you - the glazed donut. A treat once in a while is a good thing!
Wendy - Way to go on being first to post! Sorry to hear about Joey's Half Haircut. I hope he does better tomorrow! Good job getting in a workout. I hope you have a wonderful's night sleep tonight.
Well, the Raven's lost. C'est la vie. And the crab feast didn't happen as our friend who bought the tickets invited his MIL's boyfriend at the last minute. He got us another ticket, but didn't realize the seats were assigned. He's a great guy actually. I call him 20 pounds of Billsh*t in a 10 pound bag as he likes to tell tall tales, but his heart is solid gold and he'd give you the shirt off his back if it would help. So, it was either go back home and watch the game or sit with two other couples. We like the men, at least the one - he's a doll, but the women *shudders* One won't let her husband watch TV when her daughter (not his) is studying as it might disturb her (and that's a MINOR thing - she does a lot worse - I swear she married him just to put her kids through college). The other, well, her crap does not stink. Everyone else is horrid, and she's wonderful. Yet, her boyfriend cheats on her, and treats her like crap, but they've been together 6 years. I do understand she may be trying to convince herself that all is well, and she may be suffering from a serious round of self-doubt, but after my team losing, I'm not in the mood to play nicey-nice to Cruella and Miss Perfect. Okay, I'll retract my claws now - sorry I got so catty! And I am normally a really nice person. Seriously. (And FYI - these are member's of what I call DH's Old Fart Club - his buddies that he hangs out with now and again).
