Check in for the 6 mo rotation?

Has anyone posted about this? Not sure who all is planning on doing STS this way. I'm starting tomorrow: M-W-F with cardio on T-TH-Sat.

I am doing this also starting tomorrow. Although I haven't finished my 1RMs yet...I have put the 6 month rotaion in as well as the cardio and ab recommendations the workout manager.

I'm doing the 6 month rotation as well. I already did one week of meso 1 week 1 and repeating this week. I am very sore and didn't even lift the recommended weight according to my calculator for legs... But I loved every moment of it!

I'm really glad I chose to do the 6 month rotation. I enjoy doing the week a second time with more familiarity and knowing what to expexct!

I'm doing the 6 month as well. I actually did week 1 and then moved onto week 2, thinking I'd do the 3 month rotation. But yesterday I started repeating week 2 again and LOVED doing disc 4 a second time this week. So from here on out, I'm repeating weeks twice.

I'd pop in on a 6 month STS check in if somebody started it!

I did the same thing! Could not decide which one to do , then just started 3mo on 2/2. Changed my mind AGAIN after doing weeks 1&2!

Feel like the 1st week was noty best since I didn't quite have the "groove" of STS yet and have since gotten the micro load gloves, a couple more plate mates & the iron gym. More prepared now - mentally & physically.

So, today I Disc 1 again, much better! I'm repeating week 1 this week, week 2 next week. Then I'll do week 3 2x, week 4 2x, rest, start meso 3 Mar6...

I'm doing the six month rotation. I started last week. After the leg workout (Disk 3) on Friday, I knew I had made the right decision to do the six month rotation so I can repeat the weeks. Not only will it allow me time to work on my form (especially on some of the leg moves), but it will allow me time to adjust the weights as necessary so I'm ready to 'up' them when I need to.

I don't necessarily have DOMS, but I am certainly feeling these workouts. The 1RM worked really well for me and is pushing me to lift heavier than I would have done normally. And the surprising things for me is that I'm able to do it! So I'm loving what I've done so far.

I'm doing the six month rotation--I'm glad I discovered it. I think repeating each week will be better for my injury prone body--then I can lift the heavier weights required for the next section with my body a little better prepared.

I am into my 2nd week (repeating M1 disks 1,2,3) and loving it.

Maggie:)

I'm doing the 6 months and am on my first week of week 2 (so this is my third week overall). For me, I think this will be more effective -the 2nd week of each week being more familiar with the exercises.

I am also doing the 6 month rotation and just started week 2 last friday. I really think that the 6month rotation is good for me, because I just wasn't feeling it the first time I did week 1. I was not sore, but the workout was just ok for me. I had to do alot of adjustments for poundage. I think my 1 rep max was off for some of the exercises, but when I started the 2nd of week 1, I felt it. Now that I am on week 2, I am really feeling it.

I just completed disc 5 week2 of Meso 1, and I thought doing the dropsets would be easy, since I am decreasing my weights. Boy was I wrong, those dropsets are a killer! As I was doing my last kickback double arm, my neice heard me say sh$t! I told her it meant "serious high intensity training" and it isnt meant for kids, since she cant exercise using weights. I dont think she bought it, but she left me alone for a while. I cant wait to start disc 6 legs, which is marked for today.

Have a good workout everyone, Veronica

I agree w/ you, I am also doing the 6 month rotation beacuse feel my body isn't ready to make that 5% jump in weight, and like you said, you can get more familiar w/ the workouts to. I'm in no hurry...

LOL!
Now that would be a great workout title! I think you should put that in the Cathe suggestion box:D:D:D

I am doing the six month rotation and I'm on my third week. I really enjoy doing the workouts twice and next time around I will do the three month rotation. I was wondering if anyone doing the six month rotation was following the cardio rotation for the three month rotation and if so are you repeating the cardio as well or doing different cardio each week?

I'm repeating the cardio too:)

Cardio...hmmm...

I'm on my 3rd week, too. Not sure what to do re:cardio either. I've been just following 3mo. cardio plan (of course, I don't do exactly what's suggested, i sometimes sub or change it around a bit).

I don't like to repeat the same cardio too much, i get bored...plus, i'd like to try to incorporate yoga in once/week...
