Cathe video you can't do without.

I'd agree with Dana...Step, Jump and Pump for all the great reasons she stated. No wait, Step Blast. No wait, Step, Jump & Pump. Well, they are on one DVD...haha:) :)

One?? Eeek that is a very tough decision. But I'd have to say MuscleMax as much as I love her step workouts.

But seriously, I'd jump on the box and make them carry me out with my DVDs, before letting go of them.

This question comes up every so often & I can tell you picking only one Cathe Workout is NOT an option anymore. I would rather eat bean & rice everyday or eat tuna for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

I'm with Marla and Kathryn. I am addicted to Cathe and I am compelled to own all of her workouts, even the ones I don't do very often!

Cheers,
Marie

For cardio, it would be Imax2 (at least for right now, but a month ago my answer would have been Lowmax).

For strength training, it would be the Gym Styles (yes, all three).

Agreed!!! I finally own all of them! It took about 3 years to get them all. I always think, if there's a fire or a flood, those Cathe DVD's and my wedding album will be the first thing I grab before I run out of the house! LOL!!

After making sure my family is out first of course!!!

Too many awesome choices to pick from...I can only narrow it down to 2: Kick, Punch & Crunch (cardio) & BootCamp (Interval w/weights).

Aren't we lucky to have so many effective & fun options to chose from! :)

Kim,

How could you even ask such a question??? I wouldn't know where to begin!:p

But I think if I really could only pick one dvd - I don't think I could live without my CTX DVD!!! (However, that's only if I really, really can pick only one, because in acutality - I'm not letting go of any of them!}( )

Ah, yes. CTX. I made myself wait until the Road Trip to purchase it at Cathe's gym, only to find it was sold out. ;(

I was SO disappointed. I'm just waiting for it to be restocked and I'm all over it! }(

Marla

I keep wondering if I should try CTX. It's a little bit of both cardio and strength each day, right? How much time do you need to commit each day? I'm usually only good for 30 mins. per day on weekdays. Not enuf time? And I'm awful at Cathe cardio. But I'm getting so bored of the treadmill, that I sometimes feel tempted to give it a shot.

Nancy if you got a step I'd rcommend one of Cathe's old ones. MegaStepBlast, it will get you sweating but it's really easy to follow. So if you have that two left feet problem, this is a pretty good one to get, if you don't already have it.

I think most of the CTX straight workouts are 60 minutes, but with the pre-mixes, there is one that are only 40 minutes. But it sounds like you need a customized Cathe workout for you. I actually did a mix and match Cathe for a client as she was going on vaction and only wanted to workout 30 minutes, but wanted a hard 30 minutes. So I talked her into doing Cathe. Now she collects Cathe, and she sees me 3 days a week, and does Cathe the other 3. I should see if I still have it on my computer or on a back-up. You may find it useful, as all over them were under 35 minutes, with warm up and cool down, and workout.

Nancy,

You should definitely try CTX! Especially if you have a hard time with Cathe's step cardio! The cardio in CTX is not as dancy IMO as in her other workouts. A good bit of hi-lo (my personal favorite!) and intervals. Each workout is just about 60 minutes (give or take). You can do A LOT of mix and match with the workouts on this for different variations! You can always split up the cardio from the strength training if you do not have enough time.

I'm praying that there is a CTX 2 in the works (hint, hint Cathe?!). I honestly think that you will not be sorry if you give it a shot!

Kit, you are a doll! Thanks!
Right now my workout routine is as follows:

Monday - PH squats & chest
Tuesday - PH lunges & back
Wednesday - PH shoulders & biceps
Thursday - PH triceps & abs
Saturday - treadmill & 1st half of PH
Sunday - treadmill & 2nd half of PH

The only problem is, now my weekends are getting filled! Oh, whoa is me. I'm always so darn busy, and all I want to do is workout. x(

With my schedule, I'm lucky to stay healthy and a bit toned. Ooops, sorry to interrupt this thread.
