Wow! How exciting!!! Who is planning to try out? (I don't think I'd have the guts, but I won't be in Daytona to find out.) See below.....

Casting call for all Cathletes! If you have ever wanted to be in a Cathe video, now is your chance! During the Daytona Beach EB Tour event any attendee who wants to will have the chance to try out to be in a future Cathe video. We will have a video camera set up in a separate banquet room where you will have about three to five minutes to show us your stuff. We will want to see how you step, kickbox and your form and strength in lifting weights and push ups. Futher details and instructions will be sent to all Daytona attendees around the third week in September. We will review the camera footage from the casting call in Daytona and announce the winner on January 28th.
 
I saw! I saw!!! Not going to be in Daytona, though. And I certainly wouldn't have the guts to try out, but how cool! It would seem to me that if there is a casting call and the decision is to be made next Jan, then there must be some new DVD ideas floating around in Ms Cathe's head as well. No sense in having a cast w/out a workout, right?

OMG, this makes me want to go to Daytona!!!!

I would soooooo give it a shot!!! I'm not shy, or fearful of rejection (even though chances are I would be rejected). Who cares?? That sounds like sooo much fun!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D

I wouldn't try out in a million years, but even I would buy a step and/or kickboxing DVD just to see a fellow Cathlete-turned-workout-video star!!!!!!! :D
 
For those going to Florida - Calling all *mature* ladies AND ladies who are not size 2's - PLEASE try out.

It would be nice to see the older ladies showing they can do this stuff AND it would be nice to see someone who is a size 14 or larger proving that they can do this also.
 
Wow! Do you think she will have a casting call for all the cities that they will tour? Atlanta is 6th on the list so it may be a very long time before she comes here because San Diego isn't until July 2010. Jodi , I'll try out if you do! I have to go and practice my push-ups.
 
I wonder how this all will pan out--do you think Cathe will fly out the winner when they film the dvd that the chosen person will be in? This is so cool! I wonder what ideas Cathe has for this "dvd venture".........

That is so cool!!!! Wish I could be there! Of course I woul dbe ssssoooo nervous I would probably flub up big time. Great for the few who get it!!
 
I am across the state in Clearwater Fl. But honestly as much as I would love to do this I just can't swing that much money. Geez just shelled out tons for school supplies and uniforms.
 
Don't worry! None of y'all are gonna get in when Cathe lays her eyes on my mesmerizing mamba cha chas and power scissors. :rolleyes:;)

Your power scissors were AWESOME!!!! None of us stand a chance against that!!!!!!! So are you heading to Daytona???? :D:D Make sure to get the mambo cha-cha thing down pat first though!!!!

Jodi, as soon as I saw the email I thought of you! I was going to send it to you, but I was pretty sure you get the same email that I do!

I think you'd be perfect -- give it a try!

(As for me, I have terrible stage fright and I'm extremely right/left challenged!)
 
I'm going to Daytona and am definitely trying out...even if I make a fool out of myself, I couldn't pass up this chance!:D

I would love to try out for this (if I was going to Florida)! I probably wouldn't be picked though :(. Even though I could easily keep up in a video, I have a little too much 'extra padding'. I doubt they'd consider anyone bigger than a size 2. I could be wrong though.:)
