Cardio video?

I need some advice. I am trying to decide which cardio video to buy. I just started working out about 2 months ago. I have a treadmill which I've been using for cardio. I have a Joyce Vedral weight training video which has a two day rotation. I'd really like to do something other than the treadmill for cardio to add some variety to my workouts. I have to tell you, I feel like I'm very uncoordinated! I've read through lots of posts about Cathe's videos and it seems like almost everyone that posts is advanced. Is there a Cathe cardio workout that would be good for someone just beginning? I don't think I'd have an endurance issue, but I'm just not very coordinated! Thanks for any help!

Hi there!! A good Cathe tape to start out with is called "How to Get in Shape for your Wedding". I've never tried this one, but have seen it mentioned a lot, for people just starting out with Cathe.

You may want to try Cardio Kicks. It is an all floor, kickbox type video. It's very easy to learn and modify. It's more athletic based, not dancy in any way. It's very fun! Great for the upper and lower body conditioning. Have fun choosing! Susan

Hello,
I agree that the Wedding Video is a great choice. I have this video and Cathe cueing is excellent. You also have a weight workout on this video. Two workouts for the price of one.

You may also want to try Mega Step Blast, which was made prior to the Wedding Video. It is dated, but the work out is good, and Cathe explains the moves more.

I also think that Cardio Kicks was great suggestion, no equipment needed but you.

Yes!

Agreeing with Susan, Danielle and Terri! The Wedding vid and MegaStepBlast are two great beginner Cathe step tapes. They are the two I started with having two-left feet when I first started stepping. CardioKicks is just plain fun and an intense workout. Let us know what you decided!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think I may try cardiokicks for starters. I'll let you all know how I like it! Thanks again.
