I highly prefer cardio over weight training, but only because I feel I get a better workout with cardio....must be all the sweat that drips into my eyes to remind my my heart is pumping.
HOWEVER, since I got my new HRM, I am looking at my strength workouts in a whole new light. I burn just as much calories doing a lower body weight workout as I do cardio (about 60 minutes worth). I couldn't believe it the first time I saw the numbers, but it's pretty consistent.
Now, I am starting to equal out on my opinion.
