Cardio Coach PP Saturday!! How'd you do!?

Today was supposed to be KenpoX.....but then I went to the OF and saw that it was CCPP day. So, CCPP it was! I logged just shy of 7 miles on the EXT. Now, I'm relaxin' with a nice cold drink.....guilt free.:D

Congrats to the rest of you crazies (and I mean that in a nice way);) who not only did CCPP but also added on the challenge, which I did not do.

Becky - so sorry to hear about DH. I'll say a prayer and hope all turns out well. (((hugs)))

L-O-V-E-D every minute!!

Hi everyone! I'm so glad to be "back" in CCPP and Cathe Forums land! It's so good to hear how successful everybody's October Press Play Saturday (or, Deb, FRIDAY! ;)) was!!

I did S&H Shoulders this morning (up for today on this month's rotation) and then did CCPP and our added challenge and a good stretch. I logged 10,348 strides on my Precor elliptical (it doesn't track mileage) and 784 calories, and I was dancin' in my shoes the whole time! How funny that so many of us felt such a surge of energy today! I loved it and can't wait for next month!

It's been a terrific day all around -- after my workout and shower, I went and had my hair trimmed and colored, and, for those of you who remember me from the RT's, I am pleased to report that I am no longer a highlighted semi-blonde. :p I asked my colorist to cover up all the blonde highlights and get me back to something closer to my natural color, which is a chestnut brown, with just a few dark caramel "lowlights" to break it up. It's a big change, but I like it a lot and I'm excited about it -- it suits my "real" coloring, I think, AND it will be MUCH lower maintenance, which is a great thing for my wallet (and my overall general natural stinginess. ;)) Yippee!!! :D

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, y'all!!!!

I made it thru CCPP and the extra challenge! I didn't think I would make it for a while as my energy was low, but thinking of all of you all doing it today got me thru it and I'm feeling very accomplished! I completed 7.67 on the treadmill and all I could think of was WHY SO MANY HILLS! Looking forward to next month already!

Afterwards I went on an eating frenzy. I have to make sure all the food items were healthy choices because I'm having my boss (a nutritionist) do a nutritional blood microscopy and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis test on Monday so I'm trying to be good.

Hello all of you amazing folks! What a day - I love CCPP day ;)

For me, it was 6 miles on the bike, 1.11 on the stepmill, and 2.25 on the treadmill, for 78 minutes and 818 calories - max HR 185, avg 158. Whew - fun :p

Wow to all of you...I admire you:eek:)

I have press play but have not attmepted yet...I still can not get thru vol 2...lol

One day I will get to join all of you:eek:)

Whew! Just got done with it! I ended up not doing the additional challenge since I'm fighting off a head cold and barely made it through the regular version.

Michele -- I dedicated my workout to you and your DFIL -- I hope he's doing better!

Becky -- Sending prayers and positive thoughts to you and Mike!

Next month I'll tackle the extra challenge for sure! :)

Another Great CC-PP Day!

Congrats to all those that did CC-PP with or without the extra challenge. Me -- Whoa! Just love those hills!!! Need I say more...ok, bring 'em on.

Now, I don't get as much milage as some of "runners" but do like to set the extra resistance on my elliptical. I'm thinking next month I may try my spin bike - hey, Emily, we got the same one :p Leeanne, this means I may have to plan a lil visit sometime in the future?

Overall, great CC-PP and great weekend. Have fun for those of you doing it on Monday - woo hoo!

Until next month, keep CC'ing,

* Cynthia *

Hi Girls.

Well I had some technical difficulties with CCPP y'day so I didn't get to do it BUT I did my own version. ;)

CC#3 warm up and steady state
CC#4 Challenge 1
2 min walking recovery
CC#5 Challenge 1
2 min walking recovery
CC#6 Challenge 1
2 min walking recovery
CC#7 Challenge 1: it consists of zone 3 and zone 2 runs for several mins eat and repeats 4 times with no rest. I did it 2 of the 4 times but used the 2nd zone 2 run as my cool down so yeah, I cheated. :p

Total Time: 72 minutes Total TM Mileage: 6.50

It whooped my butt!

Woohoo!!! WTG to all of the CCPP'ers!!! I finally got it done this morning and it was AWESOME! I'm glad that I waited, since I had the flu shot on Friday. I had a rest day y'day and was totally energized and ready to go this morning! I did it on the elliptical (still off from running for hopefully only a couple more days w/ my Achilles tendonitis) and since I don't have Volume 6, I just did the last challenge twice!!

Talk about a calorie burn, I burned well over 700 cals and was STARVING when I was done! ;)
