Cardio Coach-opinions?

Can anyone give me advice/opinions about Cardio Coach and how to best use it? What is/are your favorite(s)? Do I need one or more for when I travel and use a "real" gym or is it only for running?

You can use the workouts for any cardio equipment - he'll cue you to increase resistance and/or speed. You strive to get to levels of exertion that he describes by color (green, blue, orange, red) - which roughly equate to your HR zones. So you can use a HRM to achieve the proper level or just go with your perceived level of exertion.

You can also mix parts of one workout with another becuase each part is a seperate 'song' in your playlist. My favorites are vol 3 and vol 6 but I really like them all.

I would pick one or two that seem appropriate for your fitness level and time commitment. They tend to get more challenging as the volume number goes up.
 
I use CC on a recumbant bike and on an elliptical. My favorite volumes are 3, 4, 7. While 1 and 2 aren't my faves, I find I use them A LOT, because you get a great workout in about 30 minutes. (I like to lift weights after cardio, and volumes 1 & 2 leave me with plenty of time to do that).

I've noticed that the most popular CC w/o seems to be "Press Play", however, it is not available on the Cardio Coach website OR the link to Jim MacLaren website. Does anyone know how to find that one?
 
I use my CC's on my elliptical. It is a great workout! I don't bother using my elliptical without Sean. I have used it when out for a run too, but I really prefer it for my EXT. My favs are 4,5,6 & PP. I'm eagerly awaiting new workouts from Sean....don't know how thats going though.

I needed the CD for PP and emailed Sean. He sent it out in the mail for me ASAP.....I didn't even know he was going to do that until it showed up in my mailbox. Then I went to Jim's site and made the donation. If you can't find it, you can always just email Sean and he will point you in the right direction.
