Calories burned per workout?

Is there any way to know how many calories (roughly) each exercise disc burns? I'm trying to cut calories per day and figure in the workout but don't know how many calories I can subtract for working out...
Even a basic number would be helpful 300? 500?

There may be other places to find this too, but I have noticed that if you put the workout on the calendar in the workout manager when you click on the details button you will get the number of calories burned.
 
In the workout manager, if you go on Calendar then click on ADD A WORKOUT, you can select DVD, it will then give you a list of all Cathe's DVDs, when you select it, it will give you the Mets number and the calories burned but I think you have to enter your weight in the Weigh In section first.

Another approach is to use a heart rate monitor - it will give you a good estimate of what you're actually burning taking into account your weight & age (assuming your HRM lets you enter this info), your fitness level (again, some HRMs let you test this and record the information) and your actual heart rate throughout the workout.
