Bye to my buddies...

Just a quickie (which I'm not real known for ;-)) to say good-bye. We leave tomorrow for Vegas and the Grand Canyon around noon and will be gone til Labor Day. Our son is holding down the fort until our return. We can hardly wait to get there. This is a loooong awaited vacation for both of us. Hubby is even helping sweep the carpets and clean the shower for me tonight. Does that tell you how excited he is to get out of here??? Ha! (I won't make him do it on vacation!) Anyway, thanks for all the warm wishes for a nice trip and also for your many helpful tips and hints on what to do. I have them all written down. Also, just a side note: Give a hug to those special people in your life. I just found out a good friend/student of mine has cancer. We never know what a day will bring. Give a smile to everyone you pass tomorrow and I'll bet they give you one right back. Thanks you all, your the ABSolute best around! (P.S.Sure was a "quickie, wasn't it???)

Debbie, enjoy your time away and have lots of fun with DH. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I'm sure you will be a great encouragement to her.

Yep!

Tubing is packed! Thank goodness it's light! I am trying to figure out how to pack at least 2-5# DB's w/o hubby knowing. Do you think he'd notice if my suitcase weighed 10 more #'s? It already weighs 1,000#'s!!! Thank you everyone fo your kind words about my friend. I will keep you posted on her. Trying to wake up here with a cup of coffee and then, off to the basement to get my weekly dose of IMax2 before I hit the shower and hop on a plane! BYE! Have a great week all!

Deb, I know you're still gone but...

...just had to comment that it is WAY too quiet around here without you -- and how do I start my day with my routine disrupted, girl? (Coffee cup, Cathe site, search for certain favorites' posts STARTING WITH Debbie H...) We sure do miss you!

Hope you're just having the best time ever -- be sure to post pics when you get back!!!
