BootCamp - toughest circuit WO

MAYNARDSMOM

Cathlete
I see Cathe has Bootcamp on for tomorrows rotation. IMO I think this is her toughest circuit WO. Does anyone agree with me?

funny you should post this Tami!

I just did BC last night and posted another thread about it this morning, too! :) I agree it was VERY tough and have to also admit that it was not one of my favorites... yet... but my knees just can't do all that jumping and I feel like I'm not really working that hard without it...

Good luck with your BC endeavor! :)

This is TOUGH and like Dani, I'm learning to like it now (I hated it the first time I did it back in the Spring.) I might give the edge to Drill Max, however, as being tougher (based simply on the fact that my face is RED RED RED after doing Drill Max and just RED RED after Bootcamp.) Like my scientific theory on that one? LOL!

I've got Bootcamp on the schedule tomorrow. Gotta burn a lot of calories before heading out to the Greek Food Festival and noshing away the afternoon. :)

You may be right there, I forgot about DrillMax. It's alot longer if I'm correct.

That Greek Fest sounds yummy!!! I love greek food. Have a gyro for me ;)

OK, just because you asked, Tami, I'll have a gyro for you...and baklava for me! :)

But this is a big Greek Food Fest here in Dallas, put on by a huge Greek Orthodox church. They have a Greek market, where you can get Greek foods, cooking demonstrations, books, music, etc. even olive trees! Then there is music and dancing and activities for the kids. And you get a plated lunch for $5!! I'm also buying a box of Greek pastries to go....hmmm. Maybe I'll need to do the cardio of Drill Max on Sunday morning so I can have pastries with my coffee after church! LOL!

I found HST but no HSTA. Is it the same thing? I don't have that one. You guys have peaked my interest, something harder than bootcamp. Might have to give that one a try.

How funny--I find HSTA to be pretty easy and Bootcamp to be K.I.L.L.E.R.!!!

But my ultimate go-to circuit workout when I need to kick some butt is DrillMax. LOVE that one!

DRILL MAX!! :eek::eek:
That's what that Monday class of Cathe's was like. That's why I have been doing it at home more often, so I don't collapse at the next class in October
elliemom :D

DM is definitely a tough one!! I usually just do the drill only premix and that's tough enough LOL. Actually, I usually keep my cardio and wts seperate so all circuits kick my hiney!!!

Challenge myself

I plan to challenge myself and go the extra mile in training. I've been working out but not really pushing myself like I did years ago. I'm looking to purchase some DVD's to do just that. I'm looking for circuit and cardio (not step though) to give me a challenge. I have found that DM, MM, KPC give me a nice workout, is there any others you guys can reccommend? I was thinking about BC, but not sure what else. Please help!

I like IMAX 2 (killer cardio) and HSC. I tried HSC for the first time last week and loved it. BC is killer- I can only bring myself to do that one about once or maybe twice a month. :)

Hmm, just re-read and realized you don't want step. Sorry, IMAX 2 is out. But HSC would still work- no actual stepping involved. :)

I've heard of HSC, what is the exact name and what DVD is it on? I don't remember seeing it in the list of DVD's.

High Step Challenge- you just use the small step and no actual "stepping" is involved. It's a great circuit workout. It's in the Hardcore Series and is called High Step Challenge.
