Bootcamp cardio in 4DS, High Intensity ?

Would you consider the bootcamp in 4 DS to be considered High Intensity ( cardio only ) ? I think so but wondered what others thought. I am on WW's and just trying to figure it out for my Activity Points. I am only talking about the cardio portion.

Oh, I haven't done that one, that would be a fun one!

Thank you on the info, I thought so too but wanted to make sure I wasn't over estimating. I guess it also depends on what you put into it but if I am going to do it I am going to do it right LOL.

I do WW too. I consider all of Cathe's workouts high intensity. I don't think they really consider Cathe workouts when they came up with the activity points.

Yes, isn't that the truth LOL. My leader told me in order to count "high intensity" I need to be working with a trainer, well whatever! I think he should try a cathe workout and then tell me that. LOL.

I consider it somewhat higher intensity but it's not nearly as high intensity as many other cardio workouts I own (by Cathe and other instructors). I used to do WW too and I was always hungry. I think it was b/c I actually didn't eat enough and underguessed my activity points. Good luck figuring it all out!

So sorry, I was thinking of Higher Intensity Step when I posted on this thread. I haven't done BC in quite a while so I really have nothing valuable to add...again so sorry!

Tell him you have a personal trainer who makes housecalls.

Right now my group is "walking to Seattle". We caulculate by miles. Twenty minuits of exercise is considered 1 mile. I'm sorry but 60m of Cathe too me is a heck of alot more than 4 miles walked. I think they are missing out on some miles from me.

According to my HRM, I have burned 300 calories doing 4ds BC (cardio only). That is alot for a 34 min. workout. Would that be 3 APs? I am a Lifetime WW member, but it has been awhile since I have been to a mtg. I am 5'6", 125 lbs. if that helps.

I live in MS. We have about four meetings in the area that are doing it and kind of racing. We walked to Nigaria Falls a about 6 months ago. When we are finished our leader decorates the meeting room with pictures and stuff from wherever we walked to. We have fun.

Hi Laura! I just wanted to say congratulations on your weight loss! You've come a long way so you must be doing something right.:)

What has helped me calculate my APs is buying a heart rate monitor. It pretty much takes the guesswork out of it. Then I calculate 1 AP for every 100 calories I burn. BC cardio is about 300 calories for me.
