Body Max 2 and premixes??

I did the Cardio Blast pm yesterday, WHEW! I was drenched. This one is fun and another great aerobic workout. I think this one is a good stepping stone to Scrambled Eggs. Like the previous poster, I think I will use the premixes more than the actual workout.

One more BM2 premix to go,

I really have to learn how to mix and match because I just did Body Max 2 and left out the lower body, and, since there is no premix for this, I had to do it manually. I did't think that the blasts were that bad, and I did the whole thing on an eight inch step. The Imax's are harder in intensity but shorter. I, for one, would like to see the new workouts rated. I don't like the cardio only premix because I don't like to repeat step combos twice; I find it boring.

I'm weird. I loved the Scrambled Eggs, which I did for the first time today. I found it a bit easier than the regular workout, but that's just me - my body reacts differently to different types of workouts than most people do. I am certain that my muscle fibers are primarily fast twitch - I would venture to say I'm about 80% fast-twitch (or more) and 20% slow-twitch. I can go hard for a short period of time, but my muscles fatigue quickly during endurance training. I can lift weights til the cows come home, so to speak (with rests between sets, of course), but I can't do cardio for more than about 30 minutes (50 minutes on a VERY VERY good day with lots of short rests during the workout and no step bench).

Scrambled Eggs is a very intense workout. It just never lets up. You do each of the 3 cardios separately. In between you do 3 blasts. Then you do the bonus cardio routine twice again and finally do the 4th blast.

The bonus cardio is all 3 of the routines that you do in the first half hour of Body Max 2.

I think that Scrambled Eggs and Cardio Fusion are way up there in intensity.

They are the same as when I run and do sprints uphill.

It's the same feeling.

Hi Lori,

Yes, the choreography in Cathe's new series is more basic than "Rhythmic Step" and "Step Blast" -

I picked up on it much faster than I did the other 2 workouts.
