any suggestions on recovery week

Although I don't get a recovery week until wk 9 (i'm doing 6 mo. rotation), I'm looking forward to it!

I'll probably do one similar to what I did in P90X program:

Sun: LONG WALK W/HILLS (75-90 min.) (I do this every sun anyway w/g-friends)
Mon: YOGA (1 hr.)
Tue: CORE SYNERGISTICS (from P90x) - not sure of a cathe equivalent, but it's functional fitness w/core emphasis
Wed: CARDIO KICKBOXING (such as 4DS KB, KM, KenpoX, etc)
Thu: STRETCH X (1 hr. - from P90X) or STRETCH MAX
Fri: YOGA (30-45min.)
Sat: OFF or STRETCH MAX
Ready to start Meso 2!
 
Like the poster above, I plan on doing a P90X recovery week. There's nothing like Core Synergistics to prep you for lifting heavy. I'm not a big YogaX fan. So, I'll probably use a Shiva or Eoin dvd instead.

I'm going to use my pilates/barre type workouts plus cardio for recovery week.
I'm thinking I'll use the original Squeeze, and All the right moves with Grace Lazenby.
 
day 1: moderate cardio
day 2: functional fitness total body workout with light weights
day 3: yoga or stretching
day 4: off
day 5: moderate cardio
day 6: functional fitness
Day 7: off or stretch
 
The weather is finally starting to warm up so I plan to take long walks and enjoy nature (I live in the country) and spend some time getting my horses conditioned for the riding season. I may do some yoga and easy cardio if I can't get outside.
 
What a pretty horse you have! Love those markings. My 16 yr old daughter thinks she wants to do an equine program here in NY. Enjoy the long walks in the country! I'm in country too but too darn cold for me yet!
 
today is my last day of my recovery week.Tomorow I begin Meso 2. This is what I did during my recovery week
Day one- Yoga -45 minutes
day Two- Drill Max -Cardio only Premix
Day Three- 5 mile power walk (in woods)
Day Four- leisurely swim
Day Five-stretching- yoga and pilates based
Day Six- Michael Olajide- Serene and Savage
Day Seven (today) preview meso two- discs 13, 14, 15
 
great ideas. does anyone here do the firm? i will probalby use the firm for recovery week, cuz i'm a long time firmie and i like the workouts. i definitely will do the firm yoga and i plan to do the ab circuit from STS. is that ok, or are we not supposed to do it either? i was wondering about using the lite weights also w/the firm workouts and also the functional tracie long workouts. but, how lite do you think we should keep it?

I love Core Synergistics, Yoga X, Cardio X and Stretch X.

The are my favorites from P909X.

I really never got into P9Ox as much as I have STS, so they will be recovery week workouts only.
 
i was trying to plan my march rotation on my calendar. and it is already full of workouts that i did not put in it. it is not even in any order, just sporadic workouts put in. anyone have any idea why it is like this and how to get rid of it?
