I Love the "Tell Cathe" idea!

I was in the grocery store this week with my 12-year-old daughter. It was a case lot sale and I loaded a 50 lb. bag into my cart--no sweat. This guy was looking at us kind-of funny and finally said: "You're stronger than I am: that's 50 pounds!" My daughter thought it was pretty cool. Thanks for everything!

By the way, I am COMPLETELY in love with the Heavy Bag Bonus. It is so much fun!
 
You go girl! It's so empowering and freeing to hear that! Knowing that you can handle things on your own physically and not needing to hunt for or ask for help is a great feeling!

I had a similar experience in the last week. The UPs man delivered a box containing boat zincs. I just happened to be home and before he handed the box to me he said, "now be careful, it's heavy." I looked at him and said, "okay." And then took the box with no strain whatsoever. It wasn't a real big box, so I just put it in one hand almost like holding a 10 pound dumb bell and said "thanks." The UPs man just looked at me. I was thinking--Thank YOU CATHE.

Yea Elsie!

I work with my DH in construction and I love it when I am on the job and am doing something that amazes all the out of shape guys. Last week we had to carry boxes of carpet squares up stairs. I had no problem! Cathe biceps a bulging I just picked up and went!
