amount you work out

I was just wondering how much all of you work out weekly or daily. i think I work out just enough to get myself healthy. I don't have time to do much more than that-----small children. I remember when one hour per day was just what I needed to be toned and fitting well into my clothes, now I can do 80-90 mins a day max. How about all of you----how much do you do?

An hour a day 6 days/week. Saturdays usually a little longer. Never more than 1 1/2 hours. Now with the new series sometimes and hour in the am and a core workout or stretch in the pm

Thanks for answering. I recently heard of people working out for hours everyday and I wonder how people can do it that long. I don't know if I had the time, if I could. Of course, one may be able to eat more, but then again.

I have felt the same way. I work out to stay healthy and I think the Cathe workouts are fun and excellent, but I have too many other things to do ( or that I should be doing. . .like reading a book for my class right now!)

Usually hard to figure for me. When I am training for a long run I do like 3-4 hour long runs on Sundays alone. So I could add that to up to 90-120 the other days including the weight lifting, running, or other cardio. I've really never kept track of a weekly total...:)...Carole

Usually 1 to 2 hours per day, 6 days a week. Usually an hour in the AM before work, and then again at lunch. By lunch time it's nice to get away from my desk. Best of all my company pays 95% membership fee of a nearby rec ctr so it works out great for me.

My workouts vary in time b/t 45 mins to 2 hours depending on whether or not it's cardio and abs only or if other stuff is thrown in. i try for this 5 days/week, but usually only make it for 4 and then i will do "spontaneous weights" on Sundays. but for whoever said, "where do they find the time?" i have to admit that mine isn't major dedication like some of the fitness maniacs on here. i don't have kids and i work at home. there you have it! i really admire the ones who work outside the home and have families and still manage to workout 2 hrs a day! then again, i admire all women who make time for fitness and themselves!

I usually only manage to workout 4 days per week, or 5. Never more than that. I guess I workout for between 1 and 1 and half hours each time.

You don't have to kill yourself to get results. I am getting excellent results with my 4 or 5 days per week.

I workout often. Three days a week I really pour it on working out at the gym on weight machines, jog on the track 45 minutes and then I swim, all in the morning. I'm usually at the gym 2 1/2 hours. Then in the afternoons I will do a Cathe circuit/interval workout also. Three other days of the week I do some form of cardio/circuits for at least 60 minutes. I always rest on Sunday.

I work at home so it is much easier for me to workout as much as I want to, I am very fortunate. :D

I usually get in a good 3 days a week for 1.5-2 hours. I like rest days in between to let my muscles rest. Plus, I am very busy with my almost 1 year old son!

Hi, I usually workout 3-4 hours per day spread out thoughout the course of every day. I do a lot of my exercize at work, like lifting weights and step aerobics/kickboxing. I may look goofy to my co-workers (they point this out often), but I can open those bottles and run up those stairs that they cant. I also walk, swim, and jump on the elliptical at the university gym. Exercize keeps me happy and stress-free.

I go 5 to 6 days a week, 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. Never more than that, and I always get at least 1 full rest day.

I usually get 4-6 days of an hour to an hour and a half. It may be more or may be less, depending on what my kids have going on. When I was a spring chicken, I used just fuss and fret if I got off schedule. But then my spring broke and now I find my weeks of less are as good as my weeks of more. I used to get up by 5:00 to head out into the dark to run so I could get it in before the day belonged to the kiddos. I still get up at 5:00, but that's my time for coffee and computer. And I am so happy tomorrow is a rest day!

I usually work out 6 days a week for an hour to an hour and a half. But for March, I have worked out every day (today is something like day 28) for one to two hours.

4 days a week = 1 hour
2 days a week= 2-2.5 hours
1 day a week= 1.5 hours

I never schedule rest days becasue with 3 kids,a hubby,a part time job and a farm.....unscheduled "rest" days happen about once every other week. :)

When I am following a rotation 60-80 minutes 6 days a week. When I am not following a rotation 45-60 minutes 4-6 days a week. I have been following Cathes fat loss rotation for the last month, and I have to say ROTATIONS are GOOD:7

Usually 1-1.5 hrs/day 6 x per week.
I'm following a Cathe rotation (muscle endurance) for the first time. I like rotations. I like to be told what to do, when to do it and when to take a day OFF. For me, this works better than trying to come up with my own rotations.

I'm also on a Cathe rotation, so I'm averaging about 1.5 hours per day, 6 days a week. Without a rotation, it's more like an hour a day.
