All Out Low Impact HIIT+Core 1 Review

Just did this morning. This is my new fav HIIT and fav new Core! Low Impact, but absolutely high intensity. I was breathing hard throughout. Love all the moves - I didn't dread any of the moves so I know I will be reaching for this one even when not using it in a rotation. I enjoyed it so much I want to go do it again right now! Love how there are sections (floor, step & disc) - keeps it interesting and doesn't seem like you are on the same thing for too long. For some of the moves, Cathe uses 5 lb db's-it's a nice feature that it shows her weights. Music is current and the set/picture looks so clear & vibrant-exceptional quality. Everyone looks amazing as usual, but I especially notice how even more toned their legs are looking if that's possible. Perfect amount of time of a workout-not too long, but when I do want that there are so many premixes on all these workouts-it's insane! The Core 1 workout was really tough-I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the new moves! I had to stop short on a few but I'll catch up! Cathe you were right when you said you put your heart & soul into this project - it shows! Can't wait to try the others.

Great review! Thank you. I always look at everyone's legs because mine need a lot of work :(. I agree with you that everyone's legs look fabulous!

I'm like a mad woman checking constantly looking for reviews. Thank you for posting this! My mailperson has been showing up after dark, and I have to go to work for the next 10 hours, these reviews are keeping me going. :D

Hahaha same here! Keep those review coming pls:)

Thanks for the review...Cant wait to try this one.

I haven't done All Out, but I did Core 1 as an add on to Hard Strikes yesterday. I agree it's tough and has great moves (i also had to stop short a couple of times). My abs are feeling it today. :)

I did this workout today and it was AWESOME! I don't really have time to do a detailed review, but I will say this: NO DREAD, FUN, ROCKIN MUSIC, NO REPETITION, BURNING THIGHS & GLUTES, SWEAT, NO PLANK EXERCISES (except for 1 set of mountain climber's, which is fine by me :D). Everything I could have asked for in a low impact hiit workout. Not as hard as Afterburn IMO, but that's ok since Afterburn produces somewhat of a dread factor for me.

I finished off with the 100 Rep Challenge Barbell Thrusts . Hopefully tomorrow I will have problems sitting on the toilet :eek::D.

Have fun Xtrain'ing ladies!

I just did All Out Low Impact HIIT today too since I am trying out the 30-day cardio/strength rotation from the guide. Love it despite being able to only do the first segment (all floor). I didn't do the step or disc work--clearly I am out of shape--and I need to work up to that but that ok! I also did the chest burn sets segment and that was great too.

Can someone tell me the name of the song to the warm-up in this workout? I want to download it to iTunes.:)

I did All Out this morning and have to agree with the previous reviews...loved it! I agree with Natasha that it's not quite as hard as, say, Afterburn, but that's not to say it's not challenging! It was a good workout and a lot of fun. And wow the music is just fantastic.

There is only ONE move that is repeated, and when Cathe announces it (even the crew didn't know apparently), you think "YAY!" Not. But your heart and your butt will be thanking Cathe later.:p. I really like how the workout uses the different equipment...first hand weights (loved those weighted sumos!), then step (for those who have choreography concerns it's mostly athletic moves with only one dancy interval) then discs...it really makes it fly by and keeps you from burning out from too many similar moves. I've said before that I think Cathe is a master of pace and sequencing, and here I am saying it again. :D

This workout is great and will be perfect for days when your upper body is fried. There's some upper body through arm movements and use of very light weighs, but it truly only helps shake out the cobwebs and raise your heart rate. The moves aren't fatiguing. I have some upper body DOMS today, but feel better than I did before starting AO, which is why I though to mention this.

Thank you Cathe for such a fun, low impact, sweaty workout!

Mmm, I forgot to mention my one criticism of AO. Was I the only one who thought the stretch was a bit short? I always do more stretching than Cathe does in her cool downs, just a habit, but this particular stretch seemed like it could have been a bit longer.

Having said that, Cathe's stretches are usually more thorough than other instructors!
