RE: YIPPEE!!!

I'm so glad you like it Cathe, you deserve that treat - that's for sure. Thanks to all that contributed, too. I'm so happy to have been part of such a wonderful gesture.

Cheers, Marcia :)

Hi, its me again:) I'm thrilled to be able to get back on the computer (now that I can fully focus) and share the account of today's surprise gift with everyone.

I must have been teaching when the delivery arrived but saw a box on the counter later after returning to the office. I noticed it said both Cathe & Chris on it (which is not usually the case)so I had wondered what it was. The funny thing was that I had just finished lunch and had a sweet tooth but didn't have time to pick up a snack and went straight to work. So now I am opening this box saying "Chris, did you see this box? It is for both of us?" There is no recognizeable name on the box so we are curious what it is. As I open the box, I just see the tops of a bunch of cookies. The first thing out of my sweet tooth mouth is "OH YUM, look at all these cookies Chris, who could this be from?" Then I reach down deep into the box and realize that it is attached to an arrangement. I pull it out and now I see all the edible flowers and the pot. At first I am distracted by the wide assortment of cookie flavors (being as I was having a snack attack moment)and began to sniff all our yummy flowers, ha! Then as I am rotating the arrangement I realize that the pot is painted. Now an even closer look reveals that it is uniquely painted with all Cathe.com paraphernalia on it.....AND a black lab. That's when my heart melted and my eyes watered. I quickly looked all about the arrangement to find out who it was from. When I saw all of your names typed on that note along with sentiments from the entire "educated crowd", I became very emotional. I don't think I'll ever be able to truly put into words what went through me that moment. I was in disbelief and pointing out to Chris all of the attention to detail on this beautifully painted pot. We ran out to grab a picture of it before it was devoured, ha! I actually was going to pose along with it but I had a REALLY SWEATY class earlier and didn't look very put together after that. But the good news is I worked so hard that I was entitled to a few cookies right? As I am munching away I am reading the note and in complete awe of this kind act. I had wondered who had organized the whole thing? How everybody got involved? Who painted this amazingly precious pot? etc. Chris of course is feeling the same as I am and I told him I would type a note from both of us. I wanted to immediately sit down and type this note out but I knew I couldn't express myself in a rush. We had some things we had to finish before mid afternoon so I had to wait. It was KILLING me not to be able to write. I was busting at the seams wanting to share the news. We are just so extremely moved by everyones participation and overall generosity. A HUGE HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!!!!!

Nighty night!
Cathe

PS....This pot will be one of the most treasured keepsakes we own. And yes, without a doubt, I will always think of all of you when looking at it.

PSS...Kathy, I will surely work on getting that photo out to Blooming Cookies. How neat to be part of that. Also, after browsing their site I noticed that they have three artists on staff who do their beautiful painting. Their attention to detail is so impressive. I also came across the nutritional information on the website about the cookies by total accident, yikes! Not sure if I really want to know that now that the flower pot is near empty :9 :p :7 . What a neat company, I will be a future customer for sure.

We are so happy it touched your heart so much! (Also glad you ENJOYED the cookies! :9) It is such a small way for ALL of us to say a BIG thanks to you & your crew! Thank you for taking time to post at ALMOST 2:00AM!!

Aw Cathe, this post made me CRY! I'm so glad you and Chris were so touched by this! I'm grateful to Kathy S. and the others who put this together, and let me be a part of it. I'm a relative newbie to this forum and all you incredible folks, but I'll always be grateful I found all of you!! You're my cyber home now, and my constant source of inspiration and information!!

:D Well, how does it feel Cathe to be up there in the likes of Madonna and Oprah! Pretty impressive! We are so glad you and Chris liked your special treat and what perfect timing with your sweet tooth craving! I am sure you burn everything off with the way you work! Keep up the good work Cathe & Chris! I see tomorrow the "Body Blast" videos are tentatively scheduled to be shipped! Hurrah!

Just a small token to say a big THANK YOU for all your hard work Cathe and Chris! And thanks again to Kathy, Debbie and Francine for doing all the work.

Cathe we're just tickled pink that all of you enjoyed those delectable cookies! I knew your eyes were going to well up the minute you saw the black lab. This was the least we could do for all your hard work. Best to ya! Kathy:*

This was just a small way to thank you for all you have done for us. Besides all the EXCELLENT videos, but all our questions and suggestions here at the forums. I'm glad to know you have a sweet tooth!

Cathe, think of the cookies as vacation food!

You know, don't you, that food you eat on vacation doesn't count??? There are no calories, there is no fat, there are no carbs - it's' "time out" food, for heaven's sake!! :)

Thanks for the wonderful moment-by-moment account of the box opening! There sure were a lot of people popping on and off of the Forums (on average, I'd say, maybe 20 or 30 times :)) during the day yesterday waiting like kids for Santa! It is really and truly better to give than to receive, I can tell you from this end -- what a FUN, FUN day yesterday was for all of us!!!!

Oh, P.S. -- Cath, if you're going to take a new picture for the Bloomey's people to have, I think you ought to recreate your High Step picture, but this time just hold the pot in front of you. That High Step picture of you is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!

Cathe,

Thanks to you and Chris for working so hard for us. You have made such a huge difference in my life. I just cleaned out my workout videos a couple of days ago and got rid of everything but my Cathe tapes. (Had to make room for the BB videos!) You must feel good knowing you've made the world a little more Fit!!

Debbie K:)

Cathe & Chris - we truly appreciate everything you guys do - we know you are working hard! Glad you enjoyed the cookies!

My friend Joanne took Cathe's class the day after Chris and Cathe had stayed up to work on the Body Blast volume issues. Cathe confided in the class that she was up until 3:30 a.m. the night before. Dedication like that deserves a reward. Enjoy!!!

She not only looked amazing for being that tired but was full of energy. I'm so fortunate that she still taught the classes. I'm just sad that I missed out on chipping in on such a great and thoughtful present.

All of us who participated are certainly thrilled that you like your gift and I hope you know that the appreciation you feel for the cookie bouquet is felt just as deeply by us for all that you do and every time we workout with you....even though you're kicking our butts! }(
