A little humor...

The UPS man came to the office today with a box that I thought was shaped like it could contain the STS. I started to get excited and the UPS man was laughing and waiting for me to sign for it.

Alas, it was not STS. It was the 1099 envelopes I had ordered for tax time. DARN IT!!!! lol

PS - I know it is not STS time, but for some reason I got all excited when I saw that box!

Becky-I came home from school the other day and there was a UPS envelope in between my storm door and my house door! I KNEW it wasn't STS, but I sure was hoping it was! LOL

Gayle

p.s. as it turns out, it was just the cable I requested for our Guitar Hero World Tour drums to work properly! LOL The kids were happy, anyway!

I'm glad I am not the only one stalking the UPS man. Even though I know there will be an announcement before they ship, I still look! I'm obsessed!!!

I've been fooled...

I got really excited when I had an e-mail the other day saying that a package was sent. I thought, "YES! It's STS!"

It was just my stupid textbooks. :(

I'm so glad they are no longer shipping internationally using UPS - it costs Canadians a freakin' fortune in shipping, handling and customs brokerage costs. I will never ever buy anything off eBay that ships using UPS.

A box is just a BOX....

Unless it is the STS Box we are all so anxiously awaiting.

Isn't it a THRILL to be a part of history?.......I'm serious.... in time future.....we will be one step ahead of those who are waiting "to see" how STS goes...

And in the meantime - with the money we've saved.....we can buy the TOWER when it come available....and still be ahead!!!

Cathe, gotta love her!!!!!

my DH thinks I have a thing for the UPS guy...I always ask him if I call his cell "Did a big brown truck bring anything fun???" At this point, I think he may try to hide my STS just to see what I'd do (if he did, he'd be lucky that I hadn't developed my soon to be super muscles otherwise this farmgirl may kick some farmboy tush!!!)
I always remind him that HE is home when the UPS truck makes its way to our house, not me!
julie :D

I can hear my UPS man's truck from my living room window. Every day that man drives down the block and never stops at my door .

I can't wait....

You are all so funny!

I just love these UPS man stories. On our end the UPS man sees it a little differently. When we are in shipping mode he pulls up, knocks on the door, looks in the room filled with a gazillion labled small boxes and says a few choice words under his breath as he makes endless trips to his truck balancing multiple small boxes in his arms. I think he is up to 15 boxes per arm load. Well that will change with the STS boxes. He will have to take 1 Rep Max test to calculate the weight per round on these boxes.

LOL!

LOL! Cathe, that is so funny!! Who knows, maybe the UPS guy will put an order in when he sees how popular this series is!!!! Please take a pic of him for us. (Maybe it will make him less grumpy carrying all those boxes to his truck!) Just to add to this thread...I came home today and rounded the corner to my house and there sat a UPS man next door andI thought to myself, "Oh, please come to my house next!" Guess we all love that guy!

UPS

Glad I am not the only one looking out my window every time I hear a truck. I Ran to my gate cause I saw a box, turned out it was a book my kid ordered! Darn!! Just seems like waiting is half the fun, like a present is going to arrive and we are anxious little kids! :p

A Little Humor

My husband Tim is a UPS man and while he doesn't deliver to our house, I know he will call me when my package arrives in their building. I have given Tim strict instructions to make sure it gets delivered promptly to our house, I don't want him telling our UPS driver (Gary) to give it to Tim to take home at the end of the day. Heck by the time my hubby gets home I know I will have read most of the instruction book!!

You could say the UPS man is getting a good "STS" workout as he makes his way to all our houses with those lovely individually boxed goodies.

Let the fun Begin:D
