Hi Everyone! I still do not have all the details to share but I at least wanted to answer a couple of things for you.
SIGN UP POLICY:
We are kindly asking that you only sign up for the roadtrip if you are ABSOLUTELY SURE you can make it. We do realize that the Roadtrip is in the heart of summer vacations, however, and will allow a grace period for a refund if need be. The cut off to receive a 100% refund is June 15, 2005. After June 15th we will no longer issue any refunds unless you can find someone to take your place. If that should be the case, then we will charge your replacement $159.00 and issue you a full refund.
AIRPORT:
Philadelphia International Airport is where you will be flying into. We will give directions later but it is only about a 25 minute ride to our heath club from there.
JITTERS:
Please don't be nervous about what to wear, or feeling you need to be in tip top shape to attend, or not knowing anybody, etc. Please be comfortable.....Come as you are, be who you are, and wear whatever you feel comfortable in (except pajamas, ha). I promise I will do the same. We are going to have so much fun. We have many activities and things planned and will post the details soon. By the end of this trip we will feel like family
HIP HIP HOORAY TO THE TRIP COORDINATORS:
I am so pleased and proud to announce that Kathy S, Debbie H, and Lorrayne, will help us orchestrate the entire Roadtrip. They have generously volunteered their time, energy, and enthusiasm to help coordinate the events plus help answer questions on the forum pertaining to the trip. They also have some creative tricks up their sleeves to guarantee a successful weekend.
Please be patient with me for the next week. The grand opening for our new facility is this weekend and I am being pulled in that direction for the next few days. After that I will be able to sit down, iron out the details, and have more answers for you as well as the coordinators.
I want to personally thank Debbie, Kathy, and Lorrayne for taking on such a big task with such spunk and vigor. They will kindly help answer questions as best as they can. Once things are ironed out, they may be sending group emails out or post info on the forum to have you participate in things that will make the Roadtrip a memory that will last a lifetime.
