I came across this humorous article and wanted to share:

9 Most Embarrassing Exercises | Fitbie

Since I don't go to the gym, I can't relate to the gym equipment ones. I would have to agree with some of the Yoga poses like down-dog & happy baby -- very interesting poses indeed :D.

I will add a few of mine to the list...let's just say I'm happy I workout in the privacy of my home.

1) Tuck Jumps & Air Jacks - I love these moves, but I don't want anyone to see me doing them. There is just too much "jiggle" going on for my liking  :D

2) Cathe's Slide & Glide. It's more like slide, reposition, try to slide again, feet come off the discs, ect. :D

Please feel free to add yours & make comments :)

I just make sure, when working out at the gym, that my backside is to the wall when I'm doing my lower body stretches, butt in air, in my 3" rise shorts!

Ditto to all of Natasha's picks, and I will add the supine pelvic thrust move for the glutes. I DIE. I remember doing that one both in group class and one-on-one with my trainer, and just wanting the floor to swallow me up. I AM NOT A PORN STAR!

Clare, that was hysterical!

I'm with Natasha. Anything that makes for lots of jiggling is kind of embarrassing. I'm pretty ample in the rear end department, and the few times I went to the gym to jog on the treadmill I could not help but think that everyone was staring at my jiggly bits. One more reason to work out at home.:)

The home equestrian system!?!?!?!?!?! So blatantly sexual I am astonished it wasn't outlawed in its country of origin! Just: wow!

OMG...how do u even do a commercial/infomercial like this while keeping a straight face.....hahahahahah....i would be dying laughing....especially for those guys......wow.....looks like a "in the privacy of ur bedroom" workout....lol:eek:

Gotta get me some sanitized tapeworms - as opposed to the UNsanitized ones that make you gain weight.
Oh, my goodness! Too much.

The original article was kind of strange. Squats are embarassing? Huh? I do go to a gym & I don't feel embarassed when I'm doing leg extensions & curls. The only exercise they listed that I might find embarassing is the hip lift.

That would be if I gave a crap what anyone thought of me at the gym. :p
