Starting the thread......trying to decide which w/o to do.....not too hard, not too easy of a cardio, hmmmmmm
 
I ended up doing KM minus the leg cond drills.

Roxie, I'm 30 pgs from the end of The Pact, it's good!

Jody, I've never done the BM2 BC PM, and I dislike the original BC, and actually I'm not a fan of 4DS BC. Gee, guess I don't like BC :)
 
I ended up doing BC. Lisa, I need to give that turbo fire workout a go, she looks like a lot of fun.
I'm going to take a couple of courses here https://www.coursera.org/ or at least one. For now, I'm going thru the Affordable Care Act. Pretty cool opportunity.
 
Just a quick pop in; I am still on vacation. Have not done much exercise, neck still bothering me. Did some walking, but not much else - other than eating!

Oh goodie Murphy, maybe you'll take my extra lbs that I'm hopefully losing. I've been eating smoothies, fish, veggies, chicken, oh ok, that occasional SF sourdough bread too.

I did SM basic stretch this morning finally decided I couldn't put it off any longer then DH and I went to the lake and then came home to plan his moms 75th birthday party. My trainer asked me how I was going to acheive my goals without her so now I am challenged to make things work just need to come up with a plan.

Lisa-I will have to check that book out. I am not a big fan of the bc either.
 
Hi girls! I am procrastinating! Murphy, enjoy your vacation! I need to stop eating too! Lisa, I like boot camp style videos, do one thing and on to another. Where is DH off to this week? Are you working from home? Roxie, is the trainer putting pressure on you? Remember she is running a business and wants you and your money. Does she do small group training? Maybe that would be more reasonable? Jody, how many classes are you taking? Are you going to get hit by the rain? Ronne, are you home yet? I really need ago go put on my shoes and get busy. The weekend was terribly busy! DS did well in yesterday's race, not so good on Saturday, the humidity was bad. The parade was scorching on Sunday, kids looked so cute marching! Hope everyone has a good day, I'm making myself put my shoes on! Mary
 
Good Morning,

I wanted to get up and go to spin class but I didn't sleep very well last night so that didn't happen, tonite is the final night with PT and I am kindof excited about that, I ready to see what I can do on my own.

Mary-she is putting pressure on me and they do have a group fitness thing going on right now but its crossfit which doesn't really interest me.
 
I slept in like a beautiful baby, yes, I'm working from home, so as to not be away from the computer too long, I'm breaking my w/o up. Just did the tri of GS CT, at lunch I'll do Core Max seg 2, then after "work" I'll do the chest of GS CT.

Mary, oooh, I bet they were hot in their marching uniforms too! Or did they not wear the uniforms? I remember homecoming parade they didnt' here, maybe because of the heat. My skin and hair would love your humidity, the rest of me, not. I dont' think I can get enough lotion on my skin this summer. DH is off to SF this week, at least that flight is easier than to the east coast. I feel I deserve this working from home after last week, this mgr from a peer group sat RIGHT NEXT to me and carried on her work calls and I heard how demeaning she talking about the workers in general, how cheap they are trying to find people (I guess 40K is the equivalent to what they pay for India), and at one time said get rid of them all. She wasn't even quiet about it. My guy friend works for her and is in fear of his job, after hearing all that he knows it's a matter of time before they lay him off and in the meantime is making his job he-ll. Reminded me of what they did to me in 2006, I now know I was set up to leave.

Jody, those classes looked interesting, how exciting for you. You're a student with your kids :)

Roxie, I think you will do just fine on your own. The PT probably is going to miss the income....I don't like it when they put a guilt trip on you.

Ronne, are you back?

Murphy, enjoy vacation, now how are you doing that with kids in school? Are you ditching them?

Roxie, I don't know what your goals are, but, does the cost justify the potential for reaching your goals? Would you be just as happy for a little less of "the goal" and more money for other things? I know we all look at weight and bf, but really it is all about being healthy, and can you be healthy with weighing a bit more and a bit more bf? I know I can get lower than what I've been at the last couple of years, but it was hard on me, instead I'll take a little extra poundage (not as much as I have now). I'm working on being happy in my life and more on trying to manage the various stress factors even if I weigh a bit more.
 
Lisa-that is one of the reasons I am not going to work with her I can't justify the money when I am not getting any better results with her then I can on my own. I think it just adds a little more stress in my life every time she weighs me and the results don't change its not worth it.

Sorry to butt in.. but I know you have been going to heer foor awhile and I am alittle miffed she said this. I would love it if ypu are on ur own and you get to your "goal" with out her! Id love to cc her face!
But I don't think she is the magic to make it happen.. like she must think. She has made much difference you said so I think she is just in it for Money. Makes me mad because that's what is wrong with that part of fitness industry. Its all about money for them. Not helping people.. not all but most.
You can do it! U know you r probly closer then u think and we. R harder on r self. She may be playing on that rather then tell u that u r closer then u think.
 
Roxie, that is cool that you are excited/motivated to see what you can do on your own now that you've had some experience w/ pt. You can always go back to her, sort of like a PT rotation, when you feel like it or hit the lottery, lol, if you think it would be beneficial.

Lisa, congrats to sleep and sounds like a good workout plan for the day!

Mary, its blustery but not bad. They closed schools today- there was some flooding from rain and maybe tornado threat. My rt program is full time 12 hours this semester, one dd taking 10 hours, the other 6. So, did you get your shoes on and get moving??? Or maybe you need life preserver for the rower, ha ha ha. Do the kids like their classes so far?

Murphy, are you going to keep up with workouts on vacation? Hope your neck is better.

I did the bc pm of BM2, maybe a jog later depending on the rain bands this aft. Rainy weather makes me want to have tea and watch really old movies like Doris Day and Abbott and Costello!

I'm baaack! I ended up doing Travel Fit and the rower. Roxie, maybe she is hurting for clients so she is kind of bullying you into staying with her? Look what you were doing before her! You can do this! Jody, hope the rain passes you quickly. We are supposed to see the remnants of the storm this weekend. Doesn't seem fair here in Ohio! Kids are liking school so far,...it's only day 3 tho! Have to go get the cross country runner, Mary
 
Back to report my full w/o, and boy was it a w/o! I did GS CT and Core Max seg 2, THEN, I added on the leg portion of B&G! Wow, what sleep and not commuting gives me!

Roxie, hope all goes with with PT tonight. It's so hard terminating services without being given a guilt trip! I read your PM, you noticed same thing as me!

Mary, how much longer are you going to be rowing?

Jody, rain makes me want to curl up and read a good book. That is the only thing I miss about FL, I loved hearing a good thunderstorm!

Tonite the PT really was tough on me I had a puke status workout and will definetly be feeling it tomarrow. She told me they have me scheduled for 1 more assestment on Thursday and then I am done but if I ever need help just holler and she will help me.

Lisa-good job with your workout.

Jody-it rained here Saturday so I took the opportunity to clean house since we couldn't go out on the boat.
 
Ran 5 miles with Cardio Coach 8. Doms in Tris and Obliques, I predict Doms in legs tonight, it may be time for an advil !

Roxie, guess the PT wanted to make a lasting impression! :)
