3 month versus 6 months STS

If I have normally on a regular basis have done Cathe rotations with using weights two or three times a week, should I just do the 3 month or the 6 month. From one of her posts she mentioned to do the 6 month if you are not use to weight training. So what do all your educated ladies think? Lori

You could get away with either.

I chose the 6 month just because I want the chance to do each disc twice and make any necessary weight and/or form corrections.

I agree with Lori. I'm loving that I have the chance to get the "perfect" weight the second go-round!

I'll echo that about the 6-month rotation. I'm finishing up my second go-round of Meso 1 Week 4. While I'm ready to move on to Meso 2, I haven't regretted my choice at all.

I'm doing the 6 month and I have been lifting weights off and on in my life for many years. I like the opportunity to try the workout a 2nd time, so I can do it better! The workouts go really FAST at least in Meso 1 :confused:.

I'm with everyone else on this. I'm doing the 6 month rotation the first time and finding it very beneficial. I've also been weight training for years. I don't think I'd see the need in the future to do anything but the 3 month rotation, however, this first time through it's a great opportunity to fine tune the workouts.

I planned on doing a 4 month rotation by doing only M1 twice. I've been having such good results by repeating the workouts a 2nd week that I've decided to do the 6 month rotation. I've been lifting for years.

I'm planning to do the 6-month rotation after I finish the 3-month rotation, in the spirit of "shocking" the system by doing something different the second time around. I'm hoping that approach will work well??

I did 4 weeks of Meso 1 and plan on doing 8 weeks of Meso 2. I love the format and I want to get used to the heavier weights before moving on each week in Meso 2. Not sure what I'll do with Meso 3.
I love this series. I'm getting great results.:D

I'm another one...I've been lifting for years but wanted to do the 6 month rotation to have the opportunity to repeat the workouts. My second week seems to always be a tad better than the first! On the other hand, I've never done a 6 month rotation and just wanted to do it! I'm getting ready to start my repeat week of the first week of Meso 2. I love this series!

I just finished Meso 2.

I started the 3 month rotation, and never really thought of doing the 6th month rotation, but I'm beginning to think I should give it a try.

I'm not one to stick to a rotation with the exception of P90x last year, so I thought the 3 month would be hard enough to stick too but the time has flown by and I have enjoyed it all. {okay, there were a few moments I was on the floor or bench thinking "why am I doing this again?" but I got over that:rolleyes:}

The other reason is that since I am more of a cardio person I haven't lifted weights with any regularity since P90x. I did the 1RM to tell me what to lift but I feel the precentages are going up higher than I can handle and I keep lowering my weights. I feel now that doing the 6 month rotation would give me more time to get used to the higher weights before the rose again. Ouch!
