3/25 Rotation Anyone?

Is anyone here going to start the March 2025 rotation tomorrow? I was looking at it & wondering if there's someone to "do it with me." There are several workouts on it that I haven't tried yet so this will be a fun rotation for me!

I’m wanting to come back to Cathe when I can get over this upper respiratory virus. This cough is wicked. Negative for Covid, flu and strep throat, got cough syrup after urgent care on Friday but it’s just ride it out til it’s gone.

I like the looks of the March rotation very much! But I'm still 2.5 weeks away from finishing the 8-week STS2/LMR rotation, then I want to jump into the February rotation. Too many rotations, so little time....
I really enjoyed the February rotation! This month has quite a few workouts I haven't tried yet.

Which ones are new to you? I'll be curious to hear your thoughts about them.
Here is the list of the ones that are new to me: Gym Style Chest & Triceps (did this one today), Gym Style Shoulders & Biceps, Gym Style Legs (which I already did once now), Cardio Core Circuit, MMA Boxing, MMA Kickbox, MMA Fusion (done once now), & Circuit Blast (done once now too).

So far, I'm loving the four I've done for the first time. My only issue was with the rolling moves in Circuit Blast because of my low back. For whatever reason, my back said "Nope" on those. For Chest & Triceps, I was quivering by the end! I've really enjoyed the rest of them so far & can definitely see them being used in the future.

Deanna, just a heads up ... Cardio Core Circuit has rolling around core exercises too. I do the Cardio only premix when doing that workout - the cardio is fun. I don't care for the up/down/roll-around core stuff either. You could just sub in some standing core work if you wanted also. Great to see you enjoying some older classics!

So, I did the first 4 segments, then stopped. I did core but I modified the ones I had to. It's a really fun workout, but I didn't sleep much last night & just didn't have it in me to do the 5th & 6th segments. I did give it my all for the 35 minutes I put in though! I will definitely be visiting this one again in the future.

The Gym Styles used to be the backbone of my strength training, back in the day! They are amazing. I'm not surprised your chest & triceps were trembling! Mine used to tremble just thinking about that workout LOL! The Shock Cardio series with the MMAs and the Circuits are hidden gems in Cathe's collection, IMO. Those roll-around cores are not the nicest of things, are they?? I like the idea of substituting stand core!

Hahahahha! Yeah, sometimes I have to get mentally prepared to do workouts like the Gym Style ones! I have avoided the Shock Cardio series for the most part because I was so intimidated. But when I started exploring Tabata, & found out I really like it, I started spending time trying those other ones that I avoided. This month's rotation included a lot of them, so I decided to just go for it! I think I would like the rolling core moves if not for my low back problems. But there's always ways to modify & I take advantage of that when I need to. Plus, I've found out I haven't met a Cathe workout that I don't like now. I do have my favorites, of course, but I honestly like every single one I've done. Gym Style will be pulled out often I think, because I do feel the need for the endurance work. I even got the beginner step work outs to start exercising again after my 3-year shoulder fiasco. I ended up loving those just as much & have found they're great for active rest days!

I think next time I do this one, I'm going to follow your suggestion & just do the cardio premix. I can always add on another core workout.

If it’s ok I’m going to lurk in your check in. I’m not following this monthly rotation but your insights on the various DVDs you’ve been discussing are priceless.

I’m in Week 3 of a hybrid of the LMR/Lite Rotation building up to LMR/ICE and then STS2.0/LMR. I’m finding a need/desire to sub in older workouts at times and your insights will make it easier to do so mindfully.

I won’t interfere but wanted to let my presence be known.

Lurk and/or participate! I would love to know your thoughts on the workouts you're doing! I enjoy the camaraderie! It's so great when we can all inspire each other. Today was XTrain Super cuts, one of my favorites. I totally enjoy the endless variety in this workout, & I even like the sit-ups/push-ups combo at the end. This is one of my favorites & I am happy when it comes up in my rotations.

When I first started back exercising again, I started with the ICE & LiTe series. I modified & went lighter to start & utilized the timesaver premixes. The LMR series hadn't been available then or I would've done that with LiTe, like you are doing. I'm excited for LMR Elevated!!!

Yup, Cardio Core Circuit languished on my shelf for years as I didn't care for that core work. My sister told me about the cardio only premix, I hadn't even checked it out - gave me a chance to appreciate the cardio work! And I think the core work only takes up like 7 minutes of the workout- guess I threw out the baby with the bathwater for awhile! :)

I threw out the twin baby here! LOL! I did enjoy the cardio!
