1 week success after Bootcamp Rotation

Just wondered how everyone was doing on this rotation. I really, really needed this. After one week I am proud to say that those 3 pounds I gained since the roadtrip are GONE! I can't wait to see how the next 3 weeks go. I would love to lose a few more. My schedule is throwing me off again this week. I'm going to do the Bootcamp x2 on Sunday and take Thursday as my rest day. Hope everyone is doing well. Good luck with sweat and tears week 2.

PS: Are there any other crazy people like me who are loving this rotation??:7

The bootcamp rotation is Cathe's August 2005 rotation. It is very high intensity and is very advanced. It can be modified though for other fitness levels. It can be found under the rotations in this forum. I hope you enjoy it if you try it!!:) :)
 
I feel great this week compared to last week at this time. I had just come home from vacation and gained some weight. This week I'm starting to feel so much better and I can see the changes visually. I'm already down about 3 pounds. I'm sure some of that was water weight, but on my scale it looks good to me.

I'd never done one of Cathe's rotations before because nothing ever jumped out at me like this one did. I knew this was it as soon as I saw it. This is very much like the extreme training done at the gym. Let me tell you those women who do this training have had the best results. The sign up for this at the gym has tripled in the past few months.

Bring it on! Week two here we come.

I think I'm doing Bootcamp x2 on Sunday also. I need to shift some thing around next week to get it all in.

I'm also really enjoying this rotation. For sure reason it's really motivated me to get back into exercising as I was in a bit of a slump the last couple of months. I finished the first week exhausted but proud of myself for completing all the workouts now looking forward to a good stretch tomorrow.

Kim, Leaner Legs is only 30 min. and it's all standing leg work, so you might want to stop L&G before she starts the floor work. It's a good substitute otherwise. So is Body Max.

I'm not doing the August rotation because my joints couldn't take it, but I did print it out because I plan on using this rotation as a guideline for future workouts. She has suggested great ways to kick it up a notch. I like to do at least one or two intense workouts a week, and now I have some great ideas for future workouts.
 
Leslie, I have to modify down some of the impact because my joints get angry too. But I am still doing the rotation, and I have found as the week has gone by, I feel a lot less pain in my achilles and my back. I have tons of energy and have lost 1.5 and my pants are all getting lose. I don't worry if I don't do all the impact because I am also swimming an hour a day 5 days a week. One modification that is helping a lot is adding an addition rest day. It puts me behind in the rotation, it will take me 4.5 weeks instead of 4, but the rest day really helps the recovery, and I still seem to be getting the benefits. I did the jumping jacks this morning outside on the grass, and that softer surface helped also.
 
Oh yes, I'm doing the August Rotation. I thought a Bootcamp rotation was using Bootcamp all the time or something. I just completed my first week. I need to lose about 7 pounds, but I've been working out pretty intensely lately, so this is only kicking it up a notch for me. I also have to modify due to a herniated disc. I do some of the higher impact stuff on a rebounder and other modifications with some weight segments. I hope I lose a couple pounds at least. I'm only going to finish the last week of the rotation on Friday....unable to do Saturday or Sunday, as I'm leaving for Vegas on Saturday. I always gain a few pounds on vacation, so I'll probably need to do this rotation for another month when I come home. LOL
 
Week one was easier than I had planned for the results so far are amazing.I have lost 2 pounds and my butt looks harder and lifted more.my jeans I bought last week are looser I had to take the belt up a notch.I think the stepping is doing my body good.It has been years since I stepped this much I mostly do intervals either running or video and kickboxing.I am looking forward to bootcamp twice sounds sick I know:p.I hope cathe will do another kickbutt workout rotation soon I am really enjoying it.keep up the good work everyone.
 
I'm not doing this rotation either, but congratulations. I'm doing my own made-up rotation and lost 1 of the 3 pounds I gained over the last couple months. I'm happy with that, considering that we went out for Mexican food on Friday and I didn't workout Wednesday - Friday. :(

I'm loving this rotation. I needed something like this to completely kick my exercise regime into gear. I was afraid at first that I couldn't find the time or motivation, but I've found it. I really think it helps that want to come to this board and report that I finished the days workout. :)

Good luck to everyone for next week. Oh, I've also lost a few pounds and my clothes fit much better, too.

Glad to hear everyone is not only getting good results but having fun too! I'm going to try the rotation next month.

okay girls any more results.I have lost another pound (maybe more)so that's 3 for me and have a feeling by saturday it will be 4 lbs.since I still have a couple of hard workouts left this week.
 
Hi Sheila & everyone.

For me, I'll tacitly say that I think I lost between 1/2 and 1 pound. I'm trying to loose the proverbial last 10 pounds. It's PMS week for me--need I say more? My scale keeps fluctuating. Yesterday, I was down a pound and today I'm back up a pound. I'm sure I think that's because I didn't drink enough fluids yesterday. Plus, we all know the deal about weighing everyday, yet I do it anyway;-) . I'm a glutton for punishment, what can I say:). Seriously though, my clothes are a little looser and something's definitely going on. My scale stayed the same number for two days and then I saw a big one pound drop. That always happens when I'm about to loose. I'll have a better idea by the weekend or early next week. Congratulations on your progress Sheila! I'll keep you posted.

RE: 2 week success after Bootcamp Rotation

After almost two weeks I have lost one inch in my hips and one inch in my waist. I knew some of my clothes were feeling loose. I haven't even watched my eating like I should. I hope to really do better with the nutrition to see what results I can get in the next two weeks.
