Morning, cheetahs! :D

I forgot to set my alarm and overslept slightly. Oops! But I’m liking sleeping to a more normal hour!

Judy—happy b’day one day late to your DDad. Glad you had a nice brunch.

Christine—oh boy, the renovation chaos has begun, eh?—hang on!

Laura—Oh, I’m glad Posh asked about how you came to be in Uganda. I’m curious to hear the answer, too…I’m managing to keep the bug at arm’s length luckily. Wiped me out on Sunday, but maybe the vitamin C overload is helping…It does sound musical when Ilaria pronounces her name. In HS and college, I worked for an Italian mom & pop bakery and was surrounded by Italian all the time. I agree it is a beautiful language…good job with the extra tough speed drills.

Carole—Bodystrikes is good, but I’m glad I held off on the other k’boxing workout from her. I have Powerstrikes 4, and it’s a decent workout, but I’m less drawn to that one because of the repetition. I’d like her to move on more quickly…*lol* I do remember Donna saying that. I believe at that point, I was not ready to agree with her just yet. But I can’t remember. I think I was out of my mind at that point. :eek:Thanks for the kind words. It was just awesome that you jumped in when you did!! Interesting about the fish oil capsules—thanks!

Posh—sounds like one of those vacations where you could use a vacation after! So, it’s more like OOPS delivery for you and me, eh? Fingers are crossed yours gets sorted out sooner rather than later! LMBO at Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Hope things settle there at the office. You beltin' out the Frank tunes yet or what? I like your countdown to Friday. :p :D

Jackie—so the booty DOMS were from CLX? I’ve read it works the lower body constantly. This sounds like just what I need!!!...A friend recently turned me onto essential oils, and I’m finding they really work for that chill time!

Brighton—happy b’day a day late to your DH, too. Mm, what a feast you made for the birthday boy. Wow, y'all sure are gettin' hammered with snow out there!

Wendy—enjoy those all-over DOMS today. Jackie is doing CLX, too.

Linda—what about you? Are you following or going to follow CLX?

Hi to Dallas, Karen, Shelly, Wendi, and anyone else dropping by.

Looks like my CLX package will arrive TODAY:eek:  , so tonight will be Squeeze Stronger and some previewin’. Seriously gotta jet here!

Have a great day!

Good morning ladies!

Quickly sippin' the cappuccino, pondering my workout selection for today. It *was* supposed to be a run but, um, NO, no running in the ice for this Cheetah:confused:. I think it's going to be some weird DM cardio and Imax 2 mish mosh...not sure how I'm going to do that yet but I better get to it soon:eek:.

I am disappointed to report that yesterday's workout with DSO got scrapped due to a lingering wrist issue he's been having. We ended up going to see Benjamin Button. We both really enjoyed it, although it was definitely a bit ssssllllloooooowww to get going but the love story and the underlying message of making the memories while you can was endearing. DSO and I saw a lot of "us" in it:). He's such a romantic:D.

Okay, enough jibber jabber and more sweat. I hope to come back and catch up on personals before I head out to work. TTFN!

Hi Cheetahs :D

Cathy- Nice thread title today. A little enthusiasm is needed here. DTeens are not wanting to get up for school this week. Have fun with the new WO viewing tonight.

Christine- Installing hardwoods is a pain but gosh, they are so beautiful when they are done. How long is the project planned on lasting? Is this affecting your workout space ?

Today is a 2 miler and yoga. I may sneak in some leg work in between. But not heavy. It is back on the TM today, because we are having some steady freezing rain/sleet.

Wendi- How is your foot tolerating the training for RH?

Cathy: Since Wendi and Judy posted under your thread I cut and paste mine here. Your thread title is better anyway. :D So when is your spring ski trip booked for?

Jackie: Bite your tongue girl-re CLX!!! LOL I don't need any coaxing. I see CLX in my future. I'm just holding off while I have some will power to do so. :D
I do feel better after a good night's sleep. Still a little sore but refreshed and ready to work out! Speaking of which, my AM work outs seem to have gone down the tubes. I need to get back to that. It was great to get it done first thing. :)

With the exception of the above, I caught up with personals last night soooo.....

That's all for now but I'll be back. :)

Wendi: Sorry about SO's wrist. I hope it's better soon. So how was your work out? Sounded like a mean mish mosh you had in mind there. YOU are the crazy one my dear! :D Glad you enjoyed the movie last night.

Judy: What teen EVER wants to get outta bed...before 11am anyway!? :p

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...I don't remember which Powerstrikes I have and it was good I just prefer other KB workouts. I am not sure I have ever known a 1st time marathoner to say they'd run another one at about 20 miles!! I did say to my sister after my 1st "when is the next one?" but that was after and just because I wanted to tease her...:D..I will be curious to hear your reviews of CLX...

Wendi...Enjoy your mish mosh of cardio today.

Wendy..PH legs never gets me like B&G, so my legs are fine...:)..I am holding off on CLX with you...

Posh...Sounds like you did some COOKING...:D....My DH has stopped at the P90X comm'l too. I will say "Do you wanna try that?" and he says "well you have it don't you?" smartie pants...:)...Way to go giving it back to that guy about the Cowboy shirt. Hey, the Raiders did great...the last 2 games!!! I think you are a running friend....luckily for me you have a Garmin! Thanks though as she really liked it. Boston would be fun to have my own cheering section...time will tell. Thanks re: my training.

Jackie...I think that is crazy Walmart has the vest but not in their store and you have to order it...silly rules! Good idea to check them out first at Target. Good job with the iTread and yoga. How is the booty DOMS today?

Brighton...Happy B-day to your DH. Sounds like a very tasty dinner and carrot cake is my favorite.

Judy...Good job getting in the speed work in 16 degrees! Yes, I will do 6 days of running a few times during my training.

Today is upper body, abs and a 6 mile run with 4 miles of intervals.

Have a great day...:)

Hiya Cheetah Loverlies!

Laura – good luck in finding early bird friends so you and DH can run together. I enjoy running with my DH. I never thought I would like the Turbo Jams, but I like Chalene in CLX a lot. So, I’m starting to lean that way. We’ll see. :D

Carole – I am on my way to get Umcka. I’ve been living on Echinacea and Zinc tablets as well as making sure I’m getting my Vitamin C. :p Enjoy your running!!

Posh – think you’ll get DH interested in P90X? I have it if you would like to borrow it for him. :p It’s really bad cold-wise this year. So many of my friends have had 4 and 5 colds – I’m working on 3, but I hoping to head this one off. I’ll be cheering on the Ravens – but I won’t be putting money down. ;)

Jackie – DH is a Patriots fan – talk about being disappointed! Last year was a real downer for him. He refused to even think of football for months – and he LOVES the game. Are you going to do a full rotation with CLX or just play around with the workouts?

Brighton – hope you got the house cleaned and your workout in!

Judy – I can see my dad being a widower for a life. He’s adamant that he does not want to marry again and is enjoying his life. As long as he’s happy, I don’t care. We had hardwood floors there – had them put in about 5 years ago, but they were water damaged – so this feels more like a bad dream. No, I work out in the garage, so my space is not affected.

Wendy – I know! It’s horrid around here. I’m hoping I can head this one off – we’ll see. I’m eating very clean and making sure I get all of my vitamins. There are some good bargains on laptops. I’ve seen them for $599. Save up. :p But I know what you mean. It's hard to spend money on yourself like that when you don't have a full time job.

Cathy – I figured out that I really prefer 9 hours of sleep to the 7.5 I typically get. But what can ya do? I did enjoy the extra house today too. Yes, the renovation chaos has begun. I’m okay with everything but the NOISE of the heaters and the dehumidifiers. Those drive me nuts.

Wendi – I want to see that movie. Glad you enjoyed it.

Busy day for me. DH has to go in for a biopsy (it’s a chronic illness he has, and he needs a biopsy every couple of years, so we’ve been through this before, but it’s still not fun). So I have to drop him off at 7AM. I’ll be working from home in the noisy house (we have heaters, dehumidifies and all sorts of odd equipment in our family room now that the floors have been pulled up). I will get in a workout – not sure which one yet, but I’ll report back. Have a great day all!

Good morning lovely Cheetahs!

Cathy - Now, did you forget to set that alarm intentionally? :p I've had continuous booty DOMS since Friday's workout with Rob Glick. The run outside Sat. probably added to it. Then Chalene came along and she's keeping it going. Hope your CLX is waiting for you when you get home. DD started Sunday. She likes the workouts too. Think she's happy she took the workouts instead of cash. Essential oils are nice. Have used them but not recently. Enjoy your Squeeze workout!

Wendi - A nice cappuccino sounds really good. I'm not a coffee drinker but I can sip one of those. Sorry the ice interfered with a good run. Hope you got in a good mish mosh. Hope DSO wrist feels better. Glad you got to spend time together.

Judy - Hope you had a good 2 mile run on the TM and enjoyed your yoga workout. Sun is finally peeking out here after 2 days of cold rain.

Wendy - I'm going to try and use a lot of will power this year to resist buying lots of stuff. But, I did order that weighted vest from Wal-Mart last night. Glad you're feeling refreshed. Can't make it without my am workouts. Just have no motivation to do them in the evenings.

Carole - How many marathons has your sister done? How is your mom coming along? When I was ordering the vest last night, it said it was in stores. But, I haven't seen it in the store here. At least, you can have it shipped to the store and there's no shipping. I also went through ebates and saved a few pennies more. Booty DOMS is still here. That's ok! It makes me feel like the workouts are doing their job. Enjoy your UB work and run!

Christine - No wonder that cold won't leave you alone with everybody around you having so many. Hope you shake it soon. Sorry DH is disappointed about his Pats. I think I may do the entire 90-day CLX rotation since next month will be different exercises. I hope so anyway. These will work so well with running when I'm training for a race. I want to see if I can get away with running 3 times a week before the race. Maybe I won't get so burned out on running then. Hope all goes well with DH biopsy.

Hello to all others!

I did CLX BC #2 and a 10 minute walk on TM. This one felt more intense than #1. I used weights as close to what Chalene was using as I could. On a couple of the moves, my arms got tired from holding the weights. Next time, I'll either lower the weights or lower the reps. I could feel the burn in my forearms. I'm sure over time the forearms won't feel it. I don't remember any core work in this one today. May end up adding the Ab Burner on Wed.

Happy Hump Day! Can't believe Wednesday is here already!

 *Hobbles in eating a FiberOne bar...*

Well... yesterday went really great for the most part-- got Push/Pull in w/ 30 min yoga in the morning, then got to the gym with DH for planned speed work on the TM & a swim. While I was on the treadmill I felt fine-- did 2 miles, 1 mile of tough speed work, 1 mile of recovery. When I got off the TM, that sharp knee pain flared up again. It seems to be running specific, as I can do other exercises without it bugging... (did lunges earlier, breaststroke-- knee intensive kick-- in the pool...) I don't know what to think. Any advice from our resident expert panel?

It's just so strange because it seems to be fine while I'm running-- it's only after that the intense pain flares up. Then it's painful to walk, and almost impossible to do stairs. It's my left knee on the outside... wondering if it's my LCL???
After the run I swam a half mile, no problem, and no pain.

I'm so frustrated, you guys!!! I suppose it's my own fault for trying to run in the snow, but still. At this point, I'm thinking if the pain continues I'm going to have to take a break to get healthy again. Which puts SLC in the tank. Perhaps I just need to get better & prepare for the 1/2 in March, which we're already registered for. Maybe I should set my sights for the Top of Utah 26.2 in Sept-- it's supposed to be a good one. Any thoughts??? I'm really needing some advice! :(

Cathy: Yeah, the snow has been totally insane. The local news was calling it the "white nightmare" yesterday, LOL. If you're headed out west for your next ski extravaganza, you'll be well-spoiled I think!!! ;) re:Young Living  Yeah, I'm a little chagrined to say that I haven't yet tried their products. It's one of those things that when you think about it, you're all "I really need to check that stuff out!" and then you get on with life and totally space it. Have you tried some of their line? What's good? :)

Judy: Happy Belated Birthday to your dad!!! Aw, it sounds like he is a fascinating man. How nice you were able to have lunch together. Oh heavens, I haven't actually run in 3 degree weather! Saturday it was 30 degrees outside mid-day and I felt pretty hardcore at that temp... ;) When I wake up in the morning it's been about 3 degrees lately. The other day it was 2.7!   Thankfully now that this storm has *supposedly* blown over it's supposed to get up into the 40's here. *crosses fingers* So glad to hear your COLD outdoor run went well for you!!!

Christine: Oh no! Not fighting the bug again!!! :( That's no fun! I hope the zinc works well for you. I take the Alive! vitamins (I think Posh also mentioned them a while back)-- I think they really help me keep colds away with the herbs & stuff they have in 'em, which is key for me being surrounded by preschoolers! :D Hope DH's biopsy goes okay today. Good luck with all the house chaos going on! Water damage only 5 years after you had the floors installed!   (((HUGS)))

Laura: Hee hee... I'm saying Ilaria aloud with a (very fake) Italian accent. IA, very elegant. You're going to rock that ten-miler this weekend! I just know it. LOL over your comment to Shelly about Imax 3 add-ons... ITA with that! :D Awesome job with the speed drills! I love speed days!

Carole: Woo hoo with the 6 running days!!! :D ITA with Cathy & Posh on the Boston Cheering Squad! We've got spirit, yes we do!!! Go Carole, go!!! :D :D :D

Posh: LOL about the alphabet soup... (CLX, STS...) Hee hee about DH & P90X.

Wendy: WTG with the 5 1/2 miler with DOMS!!!! :D

Jackie: Thanks re: DH's b-day. :) I did get a little run in yesterday, but the knee flared up again... It's starting to have me worried... LOL... I'm trying to keep my will power intact this year too with buying lots of fitness stuff... It's tough!!! :D

Wendi: Don't blame ya for not wanting to get out there in the ice!!! After my misadventures last weekend it may take me a while to brave it again! So sorry to hear about DSO's wrist problems! :( DH & I have been wanting to see "Benjamin Button" too-- glad to hear you liked it!

Hi to the rest of the Cheetah gang!!!!!!! :D

Hello fellow Cheetahs. Things have not really settled down to much for me so far. Long story short my mom and dad do not have wills ( let me stress how important that would have been right now) Anyway two years ago my grandmother passed and gave my mom a lot of bonds which she never put my dads name on because she flat out didnt' want to go through the trouble of taking the time and steps to take my grandmothers name off them and my dad's name on. Well, so now here I am with a ton of bonds who belong to two people who have passed. Now you would think they would automaticly go to my dad but in reality it does not work that way. Yesterday I spent the entire day at the register of wills at the court house( didn't even know a place like that exhisted until yesterday) What you need to do to get the bonds into dads name is no easy feet but it is doable. Right now I had to go get myself named as the executator of her estate and open an account for all monies coming in such as money back from her tags, the sale of her car, ect. The car was only in my mom's name since she got it years ago from her dad's passing but that does not become dad's either. So it is a big legal mess one which my sisters said ( HERE YOU GO) whatever you do is ok but still I have to do all the legal leg work. I told my mom I would take care of dad and I will so I"m not going to say one stinking bad word aobut this other than it is a good thing for everyone to get a WILL.

Since this hasn't been easy on my dad I told him I would let him get a dog from the spca. So I put in an application to get a dog and he was approved. Last night I take him and the girls and dh to the pound and lo and behold my father says he wants this gigantic St Bernard dog. The stinking thing is too cute but my goodness did we really need the giant horse dog. The thing is 1 yr old and bigger than my 6 yo. Needless to say I told him he could get what he wanted so tomorrow we have to be the first ones there to claim him as ours. He is not available until then becasue he is getting more shots today. The shelter is on a first come first serve basis so I hope he gets her. I told them we would be there waiting when the door opens. They said there was a lot intrest in the dog but who knows. So keep your fingers crossed for my dad and pray for me that I can manage such a beast. We are going from a no dog family to a over sized dog family. The girls already named her LUCkY so I hope we are lucky to get her. I made her a spa appointment at PET SMART tomorrow evening if we can have her to get a bath and her nails trimmed. Lord did she smell.

So far that is it with me. I haven't begun eating well or exercising yet but I'm ready to get myself back in check again. I swear if it isn't one thing it's another. The legal stuff is really the pits but it needs to be done.

Have a great day girls.

Hey everyone! It is really hard trying to catch up with my work, since I was gone last week! I have barely had time to lift my head, here at the office!

Cathy – I really liked Powerstrike 5. I liked it a lot better than 4. I thought 4 moved too slowly. I gave it to my SD. When I did Body Strike, I did it along with Powerstrike 5…so it made a really good workout and I was sooo sore (in a good way) a couple of days afterwards! I went ahead and started CLX. I am going to do it with running/cardio, though. I have done Burn Cir. I andBurn Cir. 2 and Ab Burner. I loved them! I can’t wait to see what you think of them!

Wendi – Thanks for the info on Benjamin Button! I have been wondering about it! Good idea with your DM cardio/IMAX 2! Sounds like fun!

Judy – I know I have said it before, but I have to say it again…. “You are soooo lucky to have your dad around and be able to celebrate his 87th birthday! “ That is wonderful  Hope you enjoyed your run and yoga!

Carole – Enjoy your run and UB and abs!

Christine - I hope your DH’s biopsy goes well and that everything is okay! Did you get to preview any of the CLX’s?

Jackie – My arms got tired from holding the heavy weights, too! (and my wrists, also). If I am remembering correctly…the reverse row/deadlifts made my hands/wrists/arms tired! I went as heavy as I could….but not has heavy as Chalene! I can’t wait to do the Burn Intervals! That is next one in line in the rotation. It will either be tonight or in the morning. I added Ab Burner to Burn Circuit 2 and it was good, too.

Brighton – Ouch! I am sorry about your knee! I hope it gets better and doesn’t sideline your running for very long! But I know it is better to try and recover so you won’t injure it worse! I understand you being frustrate, but hopefully it won't last long. I would love to run that marathon in Utah!

Karen – I hope you guys are all doing okay. I know it is still very hard! I am sure all of the legal stuff is very frustrating! Awww! That is so sweet of you to try to adopt a doggie of your dad’s choice! I hope and pray he does get her/him!

Let’s see….yesterday was a 4 mile run and CLX Burn Circuit 2, along with Ab Burner. LOL…yep…I ran…after saying I was sick of running! I have the 2nd race of the Winter Series on Sunday and Patty called yesterday to make sure we were still on for it. I guess I just needed a little break to do some “fun” stuff!

Hey to everyone! Hope everyone has a great evening! I will try to get back on track with checking in! I “plan” on doing a workout/run tonight when I get home.

Linda

Hi Cheetahs!

Cathy: Have fun with your Squeeze workout tonight! It is always fun to preview the new workouts. You girls have me interested in CLX. It isn't too expensive. Perhaps I will think it over after I pay off my car this month. :D:D How was the first week back? I always think the kids look bigger when we come back from break.

Wendi: DM cardio and Imax 2 sound pretty fun together! :) Sorry you DSO is having wrist issues. :(

Judy: Freezing rain is nothing to mess with, that's for sure. Hope your workout was a good one! :)

Wendy: How are you doing? Are you feeling happy to be home after your AC trip? So what workout did you do today? :)

Carole: I have not had carrot cake in a looong time. The mere mention of it makes my mouth water. :) I would not be surprised at all if you were a BC qualifier! :)

Christine: Sorry DH has to go through the biopsy. How did everything go? It is frustrating when the house is all torn up! How long will the project take?

Jackie: Great you are liking the CLX! I thought about getting the vest from Walmart online too, but I was at Dunhams and I could not resist when I saw it in person. :)

Brighton: Oh, I hope your knee isn't anything serious. I'm not sure what LCL is. I am no expert, but I don't think it is time to give up on your SLC marathon. Give it some rest and see what happens. Hopefully the marathon experienced Cheetahs can give you some good advice. :)

Karen: I'm hoping things slow down for you soon. You are so sweet to be taking all of this on for your mom and dad. (((HUGS))) I did have to smile when you were talking about this St. Bernard being bigger than the kids! :) Hang in there!

Hi to Posh, Shelly, Laura, and Dallas. Hope I didn't miss anyone.

Yesterday/this morning I was awake for 24 hours straight. I have never done that before. I had to pick up my mom from the airport again. Her flight was scheduled to arrive right before 9 pm last night. It was delayed three times due to ice conditions at her connection in Detroit. She did not arrive until 12:30 am. I finally got home about 3:30 and had to decompress so I could sleep. I could not work today, so I took my last personal day. I have slept for about five hours and am still groggy, so I thought it was wise to take a rest day. Yesterday was a 3 mile run and Monday I ran 4. Tomorrow will be something.

Ok, rant over. Thanks for listening!

Take care everyone! :):):):)

Linda: We posted at the same time. I am glad you had a break to do some "fun" stuff! I am sure you will be caught up in no time at work! :)

Karen: I am so sorry to hear about the legal woes. As if you needed more drama... (((HUGS))) IA with Gloria, I had to grin at the thought of your dad with a big ol' St. Bernard! :) Hope it goes through okay for you. Thinking of you, hon.

Linda: Hey! It's good to see you back! :) Yeah, I'm pretty steamed right now-- I've been taking it easy today, might do some yoga while DS is napping... Top of Utah would be fun! :) It's not too far from my parents' place, it starts up Blacksmith Fork Canyon at Hardware Ranch-- an elk reserve. It's a gorgeous area-- especially in Sept with all the leaves changing. It's mostly downhill as well, though just a 1-2% grade, so not too bad on the knees. I'll keep you posted! :D

Gloria: Oh, I hope you get some good sleep really soon!!! I don't function well without sleep. Thanks for the support-- I too hope that it doesn't derail plans for April, but it is what it is. We'll just take it a step at a time. :) The LCL is the lateral collateral ligament. It connects the femur to the tibia on the outer side of the knee. That seems to be where the pain is located, but I'm certainly no physical therapist. I had a lot of joint issues as an adolescent in athletics. The osteopath I saw said I had extremely "loose ligaments." It's gotten better as I've aged but they still give me trouble from time to time. Darn genetics. :) Anyway, I guess that's why I assume it's a ligament issue. Just a lot of history there.

Well, DD & DS are down for naps, so I think I'm going to pop in some yoga on the ol' DVD player and see if I can't get this knee thing improving a bit. BBL....

Hi to all that follow!

Brighton: I was born with my own case of problems too. I was thinking that you might have ITB. Do you have a foam roller? My DH has actually pulled it out and it has really helped with some back pain he is having. My BF has trouble with her ITB and the foam roller is really helping her out. Keep positive about it. :)

Brighton - The slight downhill grade would be heavenly!!!! I know a steep downhill grade for a long distance would "kill" our knees, quads, etc....but a "slight" one would be great! :)

Gloria - Did you see the "Rave Run" in this month's Runner's World???? It was Livingston! It was beautiful! I am pretty sure that is where I ran when I was there :) Oh shoot! Now I have the "fever" again! :)

Thanks, Gloria. :)
I don't have a foam roller yet. I am investigating them on Amazon as I type this! ;) What size would you guys suggest? I see that the 3 feet x 6 inch diameter one is the most popular size-- is that what I should go for?

Thanks for all your insights & positivity! :D

Good evening Cheetahs!

Brighton - Fiber One!! Yum! Sorry the knee is acting up again. Think you have the right idea of allowing it to heal before attempting longer runs. How did yoga go? I have the 3x6 roller. It sure helps the aches and pains sometimes.

Karen - So sorry you're still going through so much right now. ((((HUGS)))) Yes, it's good to have a will. I've had one since my divorce. I wanted to make sure my kids were taken care of just in case. Saying a prayer that your dad can get the dog he wants. That sure is a big one. I was just watching Bethoven the other night. Things will settle down soon for you.

Linda - I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that got tired from holding the weights. Think next week I'll lower the weight and the next week, I'll increase the weight and do as many reps as I can. I have Burn Intervals on tap tomorrow. I need to work it in with a run though. Guess I'll have to add Ab Burner to BC #3 since I know I won't have time tomorrow. How did your workout go?

Gloria - Always remember carrot cake is a veggie. ;) Did you get the 20# vest? Wow, I hope you get some extra sleep tonight. My nephew was trying to get back to school in FL from IL. He left Sat morning and got stuck in ATL because of cancellations. Didn't get to FL until 4:30 Sunday. Airline gave him a voucher for future use.

Time to relax now. Have a good night!

Evening, cheetahs!

Wendi—thanks for the review on Benjamin Button. Looks good.

Judy—I can understand the kids' struggle to re-adjust. They are biologically wired to stay up later and sleep later than we do. Hope you enjoyed your run & yoga.

Wendy—oops, tried to cut & paste to your thread. Oh well. :p We will be skiing over Easter break and will likely make it up to VT once before then. So, what was your workout punishment of choice today?

Carole—I do like Ilaria’s style and form—it’s just #4 had too much add-on and repeat, and for me, that doesn’t appeal as much…I did not feel that way with Bodystrikes, though…LOL—Donna is nuts! :D Ooh on the 4 miles of intervals. How was it?...I must say, I tried another oil today and have gone completely bonkers over them. I am liking Clarity a whole lot.

Christine—ut oh…does this mean we are going to be TJ converts soon? Hope you were able to concentrate with all the extra noise. How’s DH doing?

Jackie—*lol* Nope, didn’t forget on purpose! I have actually had nightmares about oversleeping and not showing up for work. But til now I've been going without needing an alarm. This break led to some different (more relaxed) sleep patterns…Oh, that’s right. I forgot about Rob…I’m enjoying hearing your thoughts on CLX. Glad there’s a bunch of us doing the rotation together. Fun!

Brighton—sorry about your knee pain. It does sound like an ITB issue to me. Of course, I don’t mind you asking. Stretching, rolling, and ice have helped, but the most effective thing, in all candor, has been to cut back on running. I bought my foam roller at Target. There was only one size…I do know exactly what you mean about Young Living. A friend at work uses them, and I've always liked how they smelled but never got around to ordering them, especially considering they aren’t cheap. But she gave me two for Christmas, and since then, I've become a believer. As mentioned to Carole above, I’m really enjoying Clarity. *lol* I know the name sounds hocus-pocus-y, but it is a really nice, energizing scent.

Karen—fingers crossed Lucky is yours tomorrow.

Linda—I do agree with you about Powerstrike 4. But oh no—now I’ll want to order #5. *lol*…So, are you adding the running/cardio or subbing it for the CLX cardio? Love hearing your reviews.

Gloria—Ooh, paying off your car this month? Nice to be done with that! So yes, join the CLX party! …The first week back has been good. We’re in the computer lab working on metaphor poems. It’s just the right speed for a post-break project.

I did Squeeze Lower Body Challenge this evening. It burned, but I gotta say, I wasn't overly impressed. I'm thinking, though, that Linda said the DOMS sneaks up on you with this one. Now off to preview some Chalean.

Have a great night!
