    Calves have become large

There’s a huge genetic component with calves. I made peace with mine as I got older. I feel like they help out my ankles and decrease my fall risk

    Leg Day?

I don’t do as many dedicated “lower body only” workouts as I used to. If I feel like I need some more attention down there, I will either do an abbreviated version of STS 2.0 LB1 (hip thrusts!) or P90X Legs & Back - I can work on (assisted) pullups, and throw in some functional leg work, too

    Workout shoe recommendations

A wide toe box is an absolute must for me. I like Altra’s for workouts and general use, and switching to Pearl Izumi X-Alp shoes completely transformed my cycling experience

I’m Excited to Announce My Newest Series

I’m thrilled with the concept of the series, but unless Elon grants us all free Starlink, I need DVDs

    Spin Bike Recommendations

I bought it through Amazon. My hubby was able to assemble it quickly. I ride 2-3 times a week. The only problem I ever had with it was when it was delivered. The entrance to my house is on the second level, and the poor UPS driver let me help him roll it up the stairs

    Spin Bike Recommendations

The Joroto X2 from Amazon doesn’t get a whole lot of love, but mine has served me well for several years. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another

    Books, Resources, Research

These are not female-specific, but have had the most influence on my current training: Rebound by Peter Park is geared towards athletes who have “ lost a step”. Good mix of nutrition, kettlebells, Foundation Training, and mobility NROL for Abs/Life (too similar to list separately). Changed my...

Please Give Me Your Feedback Here

I won’t offer suggestions for an entire series, but would love to have another cardio workout included along the lines of STS 2.0 Active Recovery and/or LMR Bonus Cardio. Full body functional cardio

Functional Lower Body with the bonus workout

Kaleigh’s workouts are a godsend. I own all of Cathe’s spin workouts, but it’s rare for my knees to be up to the challenge

Functional Lower Body with the bonus workout

I threw in the balance disc bonus after a 30 minute spin bike workout, and I think I’ll continue doing it that way. The first section is so focused on ankle mobility that it just felt appropriate

    STS2 & LM&R Rotation

I don’t do fixed, written out rotations, but I’m pretty much doing what you’ve described. Alternating UB1&2, and LB1&2 (or body parts legs) with LMR is the best of both worlds, and accomplishes all my current goals. I’ll throw in a total body week here and there with more cardio

LMR style strength, mobility, and LI cardio

I assumed I would be alternating these with other workouts, but find myself wanting to just keep doing them. It’s nice to feel accomplished, but not annihilated

Functional Lower Body with the bonus workout

I did this one yesterday, and loved it, too. I picked up one of those Kamagon water filled balls awhile back. Started using it with the STS 2.0 ab workouts, and it worked nicely on the halos here. It’s kinder to my shoulders than a barbell plate

    Kettlebell

Ilaria Montagnani’s Atletica workouts proved that you can take kettlebell style moves, and tailor it for dumbbells and bodyweight. Would love to see Cathe’s take on a similar functional format
