    Drill Max - full body pre-mix or do as is

    What is it about Step Blast that you like?

    Love the music and choreography on this one. It's not too easy or too complex. For me it's just right and the moves are really fun once you get them down.

    Cardio to compliment STS

    MIC is in my opinion Cathe's toughest cardio workout. With STS I plan on using Rhythmic Step, KPC, SB, LowMax, the IMAX series, and the classics dvd. There's plenty of pure cardio to keep me busy on cardio days. Of course I'll miss the circuit workouts as I tend to enjoy those the most.

    Wow - Body Max 2 is challenging...

    This is my favorite workout. Right now I'm not in good enough shape to do the whole thing but I have done the step and upperbody premix. I like that that premix alternates the step with the weights. I kind of use this dvd as a fitness test to see where I'm at.

    WM has a New Engine & some New Features

    My suggestion is for the nutrition program. I'd like to be able to save a day's menu and use it again on another day. The way it is now I have to search for each day's menu and when I find one I like I can't always find it again because there are so many. I'm really liking the program though.

    Well I figure STS starts you off right where you are if you do the 1rm tests. I'm just getting back into working out after taking some time off (and putting on some weight!). I'm mostly doing the 4DS which lift heavy.

    How far along on your 1RM's, everyone??

    I'm up to disk 10 on the 1rms. If I had realized the exercises repeat on different disks and the 1rm automatically filled them in, I'd have done that but now I have to go through each disk and fill in the ones I'm missing. I did them as a workout by themselves. I never had such DOMS before!

    Dont' reach for this one very often but it's a good series. For me it had too much hi/lo which I hate but the workouts are very intense even though shorter and the weight work is good.

    I use this one very, very rarely. The only reason is that I have so many other dvds I like, I just don't get around to using S&H. I guess I'd say I prefer the Gym Styles although their purpose is different. If I were diligent about doing rotations I would throw S&H in once a month as a plateau...

    I got the whole series and don't regret getting any of the workouts. I haven't done them for a while because I've been doing the 4DS and the set of workouts that came before that. I'm anxiously waiting for STS but if it takes much longer I'll start doing a Hardcore rotation. My least favorites...

    1RM

    I can understand not doing 1 rm tests between mesocycles but I would think you would want to do it at the end of the full cycle because you will have strength gains and can lift at 65% of your 1rm max with a higher weight than you did during the first cycle. Am I wrong? Missy
