If someone needs that many modifications maybe it isn't the right workout for them. Not meant to be critical in any way. That's the main reason for my concerns with this new release. How much will I have to modify and if it is so much that I am not really following along, then it would seem...

But what about those of us who want to know what the "elevated" exercises will look like? The video seemed like something one might do in a geriatric facility. Honestly, I was kind of disappointed that Cathe - who made her mark as the instructor for gym-style, advanced, home workouts would post...

April 1st! I never thought of that. Do you think she is pulling our leg?

I don't understand the point of her video. Most of the posters seem to be worried that the new workouts will not be challenging enough and then she shows these moves? Doesn't seem like it would make her intermediate and advanced followers ready to pre-order.

Cathe just posted a clip on facebook showing wall pushups and sit ups using a bed pillow. Talking about being able to get up from the floor! Isn't that what burpees are for? I am older, 67 next week, but dang I can do 35 straight leg push ups and bench press with 40# dumbbells. Now I am really...

I agree. I am not as excited about this pre-sale because no matter how much more challenging this release will be, it seems to be the same program we just got. I count on Cathe not only delivering her high quality workouts but workouts that are both challenging and varied in nature. I really...

I agree. I think LMR was over-promoted as a challenging program. It is perfect for newer-to-exercise users. Cathe does a great job in explaining the exercises, although I wish she would have talked less in the Restorative Yoga Workout which is pretty much the only w/o I am using. While adding...

I am 5'10" with really (35" inseam) long legs. I could never keep beat with Cathe during burpees. What works for me is putting my hands on the mini topper (with or without an additional riser depending on the speed of the burpees). I feel that it equalizes my extra long legs and that using the...

Stretch request for the new series

I would love to see stretch routines that emphasized the body part(s) worked - a stretch for after the lower body workout that really gets into the glutes, hamstrings, etc. and then a specific one for upper body workouts that would hit the back, traps, delts, etc.

    More Cardio Pretty Please

Any kind at all - HITT, Hi/Low, Kickbox, Boxing, Tabatas - true cardio. No metabolic -don't want to have to use weights to get my heart rate up. The Perfect 30 high/low program was just, well, perfect. Thank you.

    Orthovisc Injections

I am 2 1/2 weeks past my 3rd injection. The process itself was mostly painless. After the first injection, there was no difference in the way my knee felt. After the second and third injection my knee felt "full" and sort of squishy. I really behaved and rested (so hard to do). I have to say...

    Orthovisc Injections

Thanks for your comments...My new orthopedist specializes in sports medicine. She said the same thing about the cortisone injections. The orthovisc seems to be a good next step and we did talk about the possibility of PRP. Would you tell me more about your experiences? Were you able to get...

    Orthovisc Injections

Just wondering if any of you have had hyaluronic acid injections in your knees. I have been dealing with a torn meniscus in my right knee that cortisone no longer seems to help. I have very mild osteoarthritis, nothing advanced enough to worry about something like knee replacement, and the...

    How "old" is "old"?

I wonder how many elderly Cathletes are here? Anyone know how to do a poll? (See, I guess that request really does prove I am elderly!)

    How "old" is "old"?

This is a question I have been pondering of late. Google says that if you are 65 or older you are considered elderly. I am 65 and there is no time-zone, planet or even a dimension in which I would consider that I am ELDERLY! I have been working out for 40 years exactly (got a Jane Fonda VHS...

    morton's neuroma

Good Morning, I was wondering if any of you have dealt with Morton's Neuroma (self diagnosed) and perhaps have some suggestions on inserts, etc. Thanks in advance, Debbie

    Kettlebells

So I got swept up in the Black Friday sales and bought a kettlebell set (5-10-15-20), now I just need a good workout to go with them :) Would love some suggestions from those in the know. Thanks, Deb

Cathe, Kristin, and Jenn D. are getting down and sweaty with a deep side lunge in Killer Legs

I wonder if Cathe has entire room dedicated as a "workout wear" closet. I struggle with how to store my always growing workout wardrobe. I have a seriously challenging time throwing anything away.
