FWIW... I ordered the pre-sale (why do I feel like this is the first time I ordered pre-sale... maybe I did do the pre-sale with STS 2.0, as well...) I'm keeping my order - yes, the four free heavy weight downloads sweetened the deal, and I feel like it's a sort of peace offering to keep...

    STS 2.0 Lower Body 1

I love how deceptive it is - like "Oh jeez... a stability ball? That won't be challenging at all." Bzzzzt! WRONG! My quads don't freak out so bad with this exercise anymore, but they're still tough. Oh - and re-reading what I wrote about grip strength - I eventually solved that...

    Vintage 1940s workouts

This gave me a laugh. I was also a bit shocked to see that Mountain Climbers have been around for a long, long time. A lot of these moves look like a pulled muscle waiting to happen. If you're jonesing for something new to do while you wait for the newest series to come out, maybe try some of...

Best workout series that combines cardio and weights

IMAX 2 has weights? Or are you thinking about the combo DVD set that has IMAX 2 plus Cardio & Weights on it (and then doing a premix from that?) Not sure if I saw Cardio & Weights from the Intensity series (same series that has IMAX 2) mentioned. That one is a circuit workout (cardio, then...

Would be nice if she offered Glutes and Guns as a purchase at some point. Sounds vaguely like Total Body Barbell.

One other thought here - I guess when I see a series released, I imagine that they're designed to be stand-alone, as in maybe this is the only series of workouts anyone has, period. As a standalone series, LMR fits the bill for novice exercisers, absolutely. If you're an experienced exerciser...

This for sure! I was also expecting those balance discs to show up EVERYWHERE - not just in bonuses. The Barre workout was the only one that incorporated them, too. But was hoping they'd have been thrown in with the other workouts, too.

I agree that the challenge level is not there with LMR - at least most of the workouts. They are VERY beginner-oriented - or - "active aging" perhaps (depending on how you'd define that, though! Like, I feel like my senior parents who've never really been extremely active people would find these...

From her post about the cardio bonuses in the series, she does mention one will be HiiT. Not sure about the intensity of the other cardio, though she mentions "options for mixed impact" which would up the intensity. Good questions - I admit I was assuming something akin to LITE, or possibly ICE...

Strength vs. Power: Why Your Workout Needs Both for Lifelong Fitness

Reasonable is one. One plyo, then never again until the next day. lol Kidding. I definitely agree about their benefits. Do I like doing them, though? Nope!

    Pre-Order Cathe's Lift, Move & Restore 2 Elevated Now

Thanks for the update on the new series. After doing Functional Mobility yesterday, I did have one other request to put in - and it's not a new workout or anything. I'd love clearer queueing on any moves where someone's not going to be able to see the screen. Your queueing is, by far, excellent...

    Leg Day?

I'm another leg day hater. I DO do them, only because I feel a sense of accomplishment after pushing myself through them (and I also just feel stronger as a whole... and am also paranoid about osteoporosis so make sure I train them anyway.) That said, the leg day workouts I dread the least are...

Please Give Me Your Feedback Here

Thank you so much for asking us, Cathe! Another vote for STS 2.0/LMR sort of re-visit, with a bit more cardio added in. I see lots of asks for Kickboxing workouts, but I'd actually like another fun, well-choreographed step workout, too, like Step Moves, Party Rockin Step, or Step Boss...

Captcha failed error when trying to download free Valentines workout

Hello and thank you for the lovely Valentine's Day promo for the free download. When I try to download, I keep getting a "Captcha Failed" error. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    STS 2.0 / Lift, Move & Restore 2-Month Rotation

I like the ones where they give the option to have instrumental only instead of vocals. I really dislike it when they use music that's meant to avoid copyright that very closely matches a popular song, but doesn't and the vocals are just all weird because of it. I think my favorite music is...

I've got lots of dead bug experience under my belt (thanks, lower back issues and Physical Therapy!) - throwing balancing the stability ball on my legs in just made my brain quit, though. Haha.

STS + LMR 2 month Rotation

I try to plan out my rotations based on how I may be progressing physically. If something gets in the way, though, I'll adapt. (I don't get too worked up if I have to change plans, unless its because of an injury, then I get kinda peeved at first, but just go with the flow after the initial...

I did this with the bonus today. Finally got around to adding the bonus, and I think with this workout, I'll have experienced all workouts and all bonuses in the series now. Glad to hear I'm not the only one challenged by those saluting Supermans. I've got a touchy back as it is, and yes, while...

STS + LMR 2 month Rotation

This might be insane, but I've officially got my calendar filled through mid-August now with rotations. I'm currently on the 8-week LMR "Beginner" rotation. Once that's through, I'm going to do the above STS 2.0/LMR rotation. After that I decided I wanted to give the XTrain series some love...

    STS 2.0 / Lift, Move & Restore 2-Month Rotation

I'm excited for this. It'll be a great segue between my doing the 8-week LMR only rotation working me back into STS 2.0. (Fingers crossed my tennis elbow will be much better by then!) I might also plug in a cardio day here and there on some of the lighter restorative days. Loving her emphasis...
