    STRETCHSTRETCHSTRETCHSTRETCH!

    >A thorough total body stretch on DVD, with premixes like, >"Stretch for Upper Body Soreness," "Stretch for Lower Body >Soreness," "Stretch for Flexibility," etc. Maybe it would >just be a compilation of all your stretches, like your Ab Hits >DVD. But I'm hoping you'd make a totally new...

Which new workout excites you the most?

I voted for the stylized step - I don't have RS and am looking forward to seeing what Cathe comes up with. Not terribly excited about push/pull - I have a ton of weightlifting vids.

Yet another idea for a CTX 2...

My idea for a new total body series similar to CTX would be... Volume 1 - Total Body Weights not including abs with floor legwork Volume 2 - 30 - 45 minutes of Kickboxing (lots of drills, please :))followed by a killer core/abs routine with the stability ball Volume 3 - Mini IMax with...

    New Video Poll

I just had to jump in again to second some of these wonderful ideas :). Putting the "Intro to Cathe" tape on DVD with some of your older cardios that aren't on DVD yet is a fantastic idea. I love the "pump repeater" you used in the ISeries, please include that move again. Another circuit...

Cathe, are you a certified Pilates Instructor?

Cathe, or anyone who may know - are you certified to teach pilates? I requested a pilates tape in the suggestions forum and realized I didn't even know if you were certified. Is a pilates tape in the future a possibility or not? Thanks! Tami

    New Video Poll

Hi Cathe, Your new workouts sound fabulous. I will gladly buy the Intro to Cathe - it would be great for a less intense day. I really love all the moves from Powermax - the pendulum across, rock horse, 1-2-3 horse... I think it would be fun with new, updated music and outfits. For the...

    My suggestions...

I would also like another CTX series although this time would it be possible to mix up the intensity? I would love a pilates DVD from you - you have a ton of step vids and weight-lifting vids but no pilates yet...I think you would be a wonderful teacher. Please incorporate the stability...

    Suggestions for next videos?

I e-mailed SNM about it a few days ago and they said they were working on it. I hope it comes back up because I wanted to make a few suggestions/requests and I love to read what others want. I just got unlimited internet access again after being offline for a few months and I wanted to see...

    Husband In Love With Cathe

Yes, my husband has a crush on Cathe too. He is 6'4, 230 lbs of solid muscle and he thinks she could kick his butt. She is the only instructor that he knows by name - and I have permission to get anything new that she makes, no questions asked. My 2 and 4 year old boys like her too! :)

My Visit With the Nutrition Consultant

I have a quick question - did your nutrition consultant recommend any books that she thought were worthy of reading?

    Slow & Heavy 2?

RE: Slow & Heavy 2? Jillybean. That is almost the exact same concept I was going to post in the "suggestions" area - you beat me to it! I especially like the bootcamp idea - you definately had some better ideas than I did!:D

    willpower

I agree with Connie on this one. I found that during the week I have great willpower and can resist all temptations, then when the weekend rolls around I reward myself for getting in all my workouts and eating so well by pigging out. Saturdays my husband is home and drags out things that are...

    New videos/New rotations

Wow, Mariela - that is exactly how I was going to use Boot Camp and Cardio and Weights - put it with Circuit Max for a circuit rotation! :) I also thought I would use Muscle Endurance and Power Hour along with Leaner Legs for an endurance rotation... Mon - Power Hour Tues - cardio and/or yoga...

Will I Allow Myself to be Thin?

I never come to General Discussion and here I am today just because I don't feel like emptying the dishwasher. I REALLY needed this thread. I came so close this spring - was at my goal size and had 5 pounds to go to get to my goal weight. What did I do? I deliberately started eating junk...

    BodyRx & Cathe-does it work?

Wow, Mindi - I NEVER intended to offend you or start an arguement. I just wanted to share my experience. I really enjoy your posts and your Body RX board. I'm learning a lot from all the posts. I'm really sorry that you mistook my post as trying to start an argument, I certainly never meant...

    BodyRx & Cathe-does it work?

Just thought I'd add that I think Cathe knows what she is doing when it comes to HOME weight workouts and I do Slow and Heavy as she intended. When I tried to do it Body RX style my shoulders were so sore because of the shoulder retraction Cathe makes you do in every video that I really thought...

    homemade step

My husband made my full-size step from an unused counter top so it is quite thick and very sturdy. I use it for stepping and as a weight bench. It is 36 inches long, 6 inches high, 13 inches wide and the counter top is 1 1/2 inches thick. He angled the "legs" so it is wider at the bottom and...

    Questions for runners (long)

RE: Running! Thank you so much for your replies. I really want to do this - have always wanted to and I am relieved to hear that a lot of you only run 3 times per week. That is doable for me - talked with DH again tonight and worked out something that will be acceptable for both of us. If...

    Questions for runners (long)

Hi Jenn, The book I've seen recommended the most was Non-Runners guide to Marathon Training. Unfortunately my library system didn't have it and has a small budget so couldn't order it for me. Instead, I got The Complete Book of Running for Women by Claire Kowalchik. I was very impressed...
